Well... to view the .wmv files, you can use Flip4Mac. But to actually convert and import them you will have to buy the pro. You can also try using free converting software such as Any Video Converter Freeware. Conver to .mov, since that's what Mac supports.

Try booting up in safe mode. You can do this by rapidly tapping the F8 key when your computer is starting up. See if you can run your anti-virus scan in safe mode, and if you can, let me know the results of the scan.
