Okay, so I've been told a few people lost their premium membership because of the site rollback, and I agree it is unfair. If you qualify I will restore the memberships. Post in this thread only - If you were a premium member before the site rollback. Do not post in this thread if: - You lost your premium membership because of spam. I am only making people premium to those who lost it unfairly in the rollback. I will be double checking with the other staff to make sure you are telling the truth or not. -You want to go from being premium to regular user. We don't take those kind of requests.

No not a virus, the sql on our database was wiped out and our most recent backup was from when we upgraded to vB4 (August 8th). The reason we didn't do many backups before is because the sql file for this site is well over 3gigs in size. I suppose now we'll do them more often, like once every 10-15 days.

We plan on making backups more often then we have, in case this happens again. That way there won't be as many posts losts if we have to remake the database again.
The skins will be back soon, just need time to organize some things. Rep is the same with anything else, any you recieved after August 8th is deleted.
So as you may have guessed... a few days ago, KHV suffered the worst attack in the site's history. The recovery process has been very stressful, and to make things worse... not everything will be able to be recovered. We are doing everything we can to make sure this doesn't ever happen again. Now to break it down... Site Related: - Some of the cutscene and audio archive pages need to be fixed, this should be finished hopefully by today. - We are having problems switching the skin to something other then the default. This will be addressed asap. - Homepage has alignment/graphic issues, that will be fixed soon. Forum Related: - Everything after August 8th, 2010 is gone. Posts, threads, PMs, VMs, friends you made, groups you made, avatars you had, everything. Unfortunately that's something we lost for good. - Sections should be fine, staff were adjusted accordingly. - Search indexs need to be fixed again, I will get around to that at some point. The guy logged in right now is the real spdude. If his tech guy logs in tonight, the upgrade will happen overnight tonight roughly around 1-4 am EST. During which time I will be working with him to make sure everything goes smoothly. (And yes, the site will be offline to everyone else while we work on this).
