It would probably be best to call the store and ask. Like I said, I think it depends on the store and how many preorders that particular store got. When Black ops came out the guy at mine said they weren't going to have any copies if I didn't preorder, but when I went to pick the game up people were still getting it without a preorder.
Depends on the Game Stop I guess... the one by my house is almost never busy so I rarely have to preorder.

Well it was confirmed back in 2009, but then rumored canceled again. But I guess a few days ago they confirmed there's still a possibility of a release. That being said I don't know where you are getting your information, from but it doesn't seem accurate. Anyways I was fine with pretty much everything in the first game except the combat system, I think it needs to be a bit more advanced and more frequent. What I loved most about the first game is that you had infinite lives for the most part and could always go back to the last check point to try again. I do hope the game keeps Faith as the main character, but we'll see how EA decides to go about the game.
