I personally believe that if I started calling my mother by her name, she'd have more of a right to ask me what was going on or request that I don't, than my step mom did. I could have at least understood it more if my own mother reacted that way, but not my step mom. At least back then when I was younger.

I recall calling my dad by his name once because he wouldn't answer me saying 'daddy' over and over again, and he said, "The next time you call me that, you're the one who'll be paying the bills." It was, of course, joke. But I think it's a sign of respect to call your parents mom and dad. Even if it's out of tradition. I would personally like my children to call me mommy/mom/mama, etcetc. I mean, it was hard for me to transition to calling my mother 'mom' from 'mommy'. xD I only call my dad 'dad' and not 'daddy' when I'm mad at him. I do remember living with my father and my step mother, and I always called my step mother Gizzy. It was because she wasn't my mom, but I loved her and respected her. So I came up with my own 'term of endearment' for her. However, when I lost my respect for her I started calling her by her name, which apparently hurt her so bad. At one point she hung up the phone with a friend and came to yell at me about how I was not to call her by her name. That that was a name to call your friends, and I wasn't an adult so I couldn't call her that as an adult. So she said, "You either call me step-mom or something else, but do not address me by my name." I feel she didn't have a right to do that. She wasn't my mother.

That was really cute. I liked it a lot. xD You portrayed the storyline rather well. It was clear it was based off of Mulan, but it was really funny. Good job with it.

Updated! Also, a few of you posted three lines instead of two, but that's alright. I've edited that you can now have three lines, only three people can sing one part at a time (except the black ones). So for anyone who picked two lines but wants more, you can pick a third. Please post again instead of editing your posts though, I don't want to miss anything. D: @Kayate; If you're having trouble singing to the instrumental, you can always sing with GLaDOS. :'D
