What is this? Yay for the second one of these! So, pretty much, it's just a collaboration type musical thingy with KHV members. Anyone can join. ANYONE. All you have to do is post the lines you want, record them, and send them to me. This was mentioned briefly in the suggestion thread, but I ask that you guys find another picture to use. High quality anime pictures can be found here: zerochan.net It doesn't have to be anime, it can be anything. It just has to be HIGH quality, and LARGE enough for me to work with. Not giant. But a nice size. Bigger than our avatars. I need a picture for future ones. Once you turn in a suitable picture, you'll never have to again unless you want to for future chorus stuff. Anyways. There are no auditions, no microphone restrictions. It doesn't matter if you think you're an amazing singer, or if your mic is fuzzy, all I ask if that you have fun with it and turn your parts in! For those of you who aren't sure how to go about recording yourself singing it, there are several different programs you can use. Audacity is a free program. I use Reaper, which is also free for evaluation. What I'd like to ask if that you sing along with the instrumental for timing, but your finished track not have the instrumental. For example, if you make two different tracks in a program, and record yourself singing on one track and have the instrumental on another track or playing on youtube or something while you sing your part, when you send it to me I would like to just hear your voice and not the instrumental. You can sing along with the instrumental, and it's okay if the instrumental is heard faintly in your recording, so long as it doesn't overpower you. For those of you who decide to use Reaper, I can show you a detailed tutorial on how to do it. For users familiar with Audacity, I ask that one of you maybe make a tutorial for that, since I don't know how Audacity works. :] Rules? Have fun! You'd rather do another poll each time, instead of doing another poll but having two in progress at once? (Well, one in progress and the runner up lined up?) I mean. That's fine, too. It's just gives the close runner up the chance to be sung without going through another poll. Like in this case, the runner up and the 'winner' are only four votes apart. A good deal of people wanted to sing Simple and Clean, so it seems fair that we'd do that song too without another poll. @Dr. Doctor; Well, it's not two songs at once (that's death). It's we do ____ song but the next song we sing is the runner up. (Excluding the upcoming Halloween song). So; we do I'll make a man out of you. I'll have more time to set it all up now than I will tomorrow (since the poll closes late), and it'll give me more of a time to construct a decent Instrumental of Simple and Clean because the one we'd have to use currently is awful and the alternative to that has huge amounts of Japanese back-tracking. So I'll have to...think of something. If I post I'll Make a Man Out of You today, you'll have a week (until the 16th) to get all of that in. Then we'll do a Halloween special after that. Then we'll either have another poll, with Simple and Clean and Want You Gone on it (and more off of the pending); or we'll just go with Simple and Clean. Actually, I like that. Guyz, tell me what you think but what if we sing the runner up, too? I mean. For example, with this poll, let's say I'll Make a Man Out Of You is the winner. Simple and Clean is the runner up. @P: #1. PM would not work. Too much hassle. For the first suggestion, the rule is in place for that reason. But it's also there for later challenges that work differently. It -is- a competition, but we had no problem with the rule in Season One. It's a matter or earnesty. The judges diccuss it when a member obviously mimics what someone earlier did. If you look at the fist Season, I acknowledged who did what first and who copied who. You get marked down for it, so it's a matter of scoring as well. The same policy goes with Britishism. He made a mistake but instead of breaking the rule, he called himself out on it and was honest. So it's there so: people who post first can't change their minds. see who in the later posts actually copies someone else. See who's honest with their mistakes and who edits anyway./ who can follow the rules as they are. (I can tell.) Trust value. It's a competition but it's still RP-based. You all should be able to trust each other, and the judges. More goes into voting than content. The final challenge is different, though. Those will be PM based from now on. I'll still consider it, but sometimes those last three factors matter. #2. I asked for one as soon as Season One started. You know how things can be. :P But alas. It will be implemented along with the post counting mod/other things, you know.
