Updated. Btw, have we decided on which instrumental version to sing with for Simple and Clean? >__> I'm still not sure.
Alright. It's okay, ~Ryan~. Everyone else has until tomorrow (today, the 15th) to get their stuff in. I think we're pretty much good to go, though. I'm going to do the major video editing today, too. Hopefully things will be posted on time. Those open lines are now up for grabs. Whoever can get them in quickly/claims them can have them. Even if you're already in the chorus. Lol.
...That was weird.
I loved that show. I was really sad to hear it was cancelled. It ended so suddenly. A lot of people I know never heard of it so I think if there was more exposure, it could have done better. It's a real shame since the show was genius, hah.
I am so hungry ;___;
Thanks. Yeah. All of the judges have been. ...I don't know. Late. I have a policy, but that would mean I had to fire all of you. ----------...
I think the first yaoi I ever watched was Gravitation, which I enjoyed. I don't watch it very often. I suppose it's more like I'll watch an anime for an anime, and if it happens to be yaoi, then awesome but I don't really look for yaoi. All-in-All, I'm more a yuri fan. ...And I don't mean fanservice yuri.
/yayayspazz Let's get down to business To defeat the Huns [Candlejack, Phantasmagoric, OPEN, Midnight Star] Did they send me daughters When I asked for sons? [Cookiie, Haseo, OPEN, Jayn] Tranquil as a forest But on fire within. [Clawtooth, ~Ryan~, OPEN, Feenie] Once you find your center You are sure to win. [~Ryan~, OPEN, Jayn, Christhor] ^---I just gave you the first four I saw. Is that okay? xD
Kind of, yeah. I haven't updated the video yet (Kayate's parts need to be deleted), and I can't start on the parts that I have no picture for, so I'm kind of stuck waiting. I've mixed all vocals I've gotten so far, so that's done. I'm just waiting. Which sucks. Ah, also the last parts need to be filled in, but it's not essential.
If you want some parts in the chorus thing, there are 8 parts open. (Four per person). c:
Added to pending.~ No worries, the more the better.
Um. Alright. If you want.
No, it's not. We can still do that. I just might throw my laptop out of the window in the process. But seriously, no, if you guys want to do that one, we can. xD
I didn't put Claw's version on the list because of the fast timing. People were tripping over words in the be a man one. xD I think it'd be too fast, and has Hikari's lead which could confuse... Some. I dunno. Be a Man has backing vocals, but it just makes us sound better. Haha. Because we're all singing the same thing. Hikari wouldn't be awful with the backing vocals but. It'll just bug the hell out of me to hear her sing an entirely different song in the background. Tacky. *Flips tables*. I can't be the only one willing to sing the Japanese parts. << Really? Well I'm not egotistical enough to give myself huge-ass Japanese solo parts, so that sucks. I'm also cool with the orchestra version. I'd make a reference for it, though. And the piano version is super pretty, so I'm fine with that too.
Aerith G. And Kayate's lines are open. Somebody tell Sabby. Will edit OP. Later.
I can up the volume. And I provided a site to find a picture. But alrighty. Thanks anyway.
Yeah, I found this version too but... The parts that are cut out are the parts from the Hikari instrumental that Utada sings in. So she cut out most of the chorus parts and other parts from the verses. It's pretty much the butchered version of the Hikari instrumental and it's unsingable in terms of a chorus project with sensible lyrics. D; Thank you, though. I wish there was just a normal instrumental with no backing. :c
There is no official instrumental for Simple and Clean. There's an official instrumental for Hikari, the Japanese version, but there is a tremendous amount of VERY LOUD Utada backing-vocals...in Japanese. So we have a few options for instrumentals here. Here are some instrumentals I'm willing to work with, lolol. Spoiler: Pretty/relaxed/piano/guitar/musicbox version Spoiler: Corny Japanese karaoke bar version Spoiler: Orchestra version Spoiler: Loud Japanese backing version I have an arrangement idea for this. For those of us able to sing Japanese, it'd be kind of cool to have part of the chorus singing Simple and Clean and some of the chorus singing Hikari, at once, because they're two different leads so it wouldn't clash (for the CHORUS). For the verses, I'd split them up so that the first verse/or something would be in English and the other verse would be in Japanese, etc. The verses wouldn't have both languages sang at once because it's the same melody and would sound awful. But the chorus would, thus Utada's backing vocals wouldn't sound out of place. Those willing to sing in Japanese would still be able to sing the English lines, too. Vice-Versa. We'd all still get the same number of lines. It'll just sound weird for this to be all English and have Utada's backing vocals harmonizing...with nothing. xD Alas, what do you guys think?
Reply, please? :c
You didn't reply in the Be a Man thread, so I don't know if you're interested in it/working on the lines/or not. I signed you up in the OP, but I...
