She placed it down on the counter and nodded slightly to acknowledge Cameron, swallowing some of her shake and stuffing her mouth with more hot fries. Only a few moments of awkward silence passed before her gaze swiveled towards the younger girl who had seated herself there with him. She curled her fingers in a wave and mumbled, "Glad to see you got here alright."
For the 'only Homestuck readers allowed' thing, I would appreciate it if the role play stayed open to everyone so there were no exclusions if someone really wants to be apart of it. So long as they would be willing to read the wikia/role play/whatever rules you put in place and educate themselves so they don't ruin anything. You can have a 'will kick out' rule if they're ruining everything or just being ignorant and unwilling to be educated. I think most people will be turned away and confused if they don't know anything about Homestuck anyway, but we don't really want to deliberately exclude anyone, if it can be helped. c:
