For the hair thing, think about your volume, if it is the kind of hair that tends to limp or dull out it most likely wont look good (sadly I am in this situation and I actually look terrible) Of course getting some hair products can work. Not to mention for me when I do nothing with it, it will look like I am from a 50's movie just minus the awesome. And for problem two... I have the same thing Dx
