I've had mine for over a year. I've had no problems with it, except it not working with Inkscape (but that was Inkscape's problem and I fixed it in a day.) I love it.

If your microphone is maxing (peaking), then I suggest you turn down the volume of your microphone. In Windows 7, you can get to it by right clicking your sound/volume icon at the bottom of your screen (where you change your volume), click Recording Devices, find your device and right click. Click properties, then go to Levels, and adjust then volume there. You can also get to this in Control Panel somehow, on any Windows system. That's the best way to do it. That way, you don't have to move back or anything inconvenient. Will update shortly. - If you get a chance, Midnight, try to do the lines you've picked if you can, because I've already placed it all in Sony Vegas (lolol), but If you need to drop out, tomorrow night (the 6th) is when you should do it. :) Wondering how I missed this. .__.
