The moment you enter the gallery, you're greeted by a short, plump man wearing a suit. His voice is loud -- too loud, and he doesn't waste any time separating you and the rest of the newcomers into groups. You wonder if this is necessary and kind of want to turn around and leave now. Then again, it's probably protocol...Maybe. The man seems to be letting quite a few people go on ahead with no interruption, but they look like they know what they're doing. Maybe they work here?

    You've never been to an art gallery or museum before, so you don't question it. Instead you stay quiet and scan the group of people you're with. They don't look very much older or younger than you. He must be sorting by age. How weird. At least the youngest children get to stay with their parents.

    Now that he's finished, he motions a couple more in his uniform over to the other groups, and they begin giving an introduction of the gallery and the exhibits, handing out paper guides and such. You shudder. Of course your group gets stuck with him, the loudest and most awkward of all.

    "Ah, I see you've decided to visit the gallery. Is this your first time? Well, welcome! There are many unique paintings and sculptures for you to enjoy. Is there anything in particular you're looking for? Perhaps our guides, Krowley and AnnaLynne can help you?"

    They look different than the men in suits. Less formal, somehow. Do they really work here? Maybe they're volunteers? The female waves and smiles after being addressed. She looks young, wearing a large bow, and a dress. The male however, just stares blankly. Upon meeting eye contact, he seems to glare at you. The greeter notices.

    "Ehem, don't mind Krowley, he's just a bit...grumpy. Please do not be afraid to ask for help. There are many levels of the gallery, and we wouldn't want anyone to get lost, would we?"

    He chuckles nervously. You begin to wonder how many visitors this gallery actually gets. You peek past the short man before you as he continues to ramble on about the artwork and how wonderful everything is. There are actually quite a bit of people here, including the group you're in now. You've never been to this gallery before, but the staff seem friendly enough (excluding Krowley). Maybe you'll find something interesting?

    "Now, without further ado, please enjoy your stay. Feel free to wander about the gallery. Good luck!"

    Annalynne watched as the groups began to separate from each other and move away from the entrance, only for new groups to continuously fill their place. As usual, more people passed her and Krowley than approached them. It was a bit silly, when she thought of it. It made sense that it would take away from the adventure of exploring the gallery if someone was walking you through it all. Besides, they had their guides! Maybe the problem wasn't that she really wanted to go around guiding people through the gallery, but that it just got a bit lonely, sometimes. Krowley wasn't exactly the best company.

    The much shorter girl nervously peeked up at the brooding man with big, blue eyes, her lips curled in a frown that couldn't possibly mimic his. She used to think that being nice to him would get him out of his shell--that maybe all he really needed was a friend; but they had been working together for a long while now and he hadn't changed much at all. Except, he seemed to ignore her more often now than he did when they first started working together.

    When that was, she couldn't exactly remember. She couldn't remember a lot of things, so she had the habit of making things up. It wasn't to hurt anybody, of course. She just didn't know exactly what to say when asked certain questions. Most questions, actually.

    As for now, though, she stood with her back pressed up against a wall, smiling at the visitors and waiting patiently to see if she would be needed anytime soon.

    As Jocelyn stood there at the position given to her, she heard the cry. Her thin, brown eyebrows raised in surprise. It sounded like a confession, but she couldn't be too sure. Would the leader really give up so easily? Granted, it had taken the lot an awful long time for them to reach a decision, but you could never be too careful. Besides, if it's the wrong guy... She pressed her lips together in thought, eyes focused on the doorway before her. Her black boots dug into the earth beneath her and she continued to hold her ground. They had wanted to appear relatively non-threatening by keeping most of their weapons concealed, but her fingers still felt bare and empty without her gun. She missed it. Nervously, her fingernails dug into her palms and she took a deep breath, steadying herself again.

    Despite the confession, things still seemed a bit muddled. No one was exiting the house quite yet. Her dark, round eyes darted from the doorway to their leader--Detective Renee. She knew better than to let her guard down, but she was still wondering what exactly should be done, considering it seemed like someone was actually going to surrender. She was grateful that they may be able to avoid bloodshed, but she still didn't fully trust the situation. Before the tension could overwhelm her, she heard a creak. She returned her gaze solely to the door and shifted just a bit, readying herself for any confrontation--well, as best as she could with her gun hidden away.

    Surprisingly, though, the only thing that appeared was a girl. Could she really be the leader?

    I'm going to finish drawing Britishism's character (I finished Judge's a day ago, just haven't uploaded it yet), update the OP and then I'll post in the main RP.

    Just a heads up. Sometimes (depending on how active we are), Krowley or I may post this;

    [IMG]

    That means a post is being made in response to an action chosen, etc. And that you shouldn't post yet, lol. As for now, feel free to explore the art gallery. You can be creative with what you find there. You'll know when shizz is going down.

    I'll edit the OP.~

    And, if the symbols don't change then it means they're continued on by the symbol before it. Example;

    That means the diamond and the star sing the next line, too.

    I'm a Believer
    Deadline: Before June 21st.

    Notes;

    Aah, good song. Sucks for the rest of us. ;n;

    I missed you guys. DID YOU MISS ME?

    Now the way this works is that I'll have this thread closed until the singers are revealed and reply to my invitation. No one claim lines except for the ones who receive the invitation. This song was chosen randomly, as will the four singers be. You'll not know who you're singing with until I get a reply from everyone.

    The deadline is shorter than a week and always will be unless the song is really long or in another language. There are only four people singing as opposed to 13+ so we really don't need more than a couple of days. That being said, there is no drop-out grace period. If you reply to my invitation and say that you can do it, I'll be expecting your lines unless there is a emergency.

    If you KNOW you're going to be too busy to record in the next couple of days, then please reply to the invitation letting me know you'll be busy and can't participate. If I don't get a response from you in 24 hours or less from the time I send you the invitation, I'll be generating a new number to take your place.

    Keep in mind that there is a difference between busy and not knowing the song well/not liking the song. If you're going to be fickle depending on the song choice then this project may not be for you. The potential challenge/unfamiliarity is part of the event/game. Try to stick with it. I will always try my absolute best to be respectful towards you and the things you absolutely cannot do. I will re-draw if your name comes up and you've stated you're uncomfortable with the type of song.

    I also promise on everything I love that I will not be tampering with any of the randomization of it all. I will hit generate, and that is that UNLESS two of the same numbers come up or the song that's chosen doesn't have a find-able instrumental.

    To pick your 'parts', all you have to do is post when the thread is opened (I'll let you know) and chose the shape you want.

    The Song?

    Thank youuu. Accepted, for the most part.

    Is there any way you can tweak his personality just a tad to reflect 'love' more? As he is now, he sounds more like a prick than anything. (In a good, character way.) Not having a good grasp of human emotion is a little conflicting with being loving. ;c Other than that though, all good.
