John's tour had put her worry to rest...mostly. Mr. Shannery was nice, too. When he asked about her parents, she simply shrugged and assured him that she would be fine. He seemed genuinely concerned, and that warmed her heart...A bit later, John, the other kids and teens, and herself were treated to popcorn and some movies shown on a large projector on one of the many extra rooms. It took her mind off of things and for a moment, she wasn't overwhelmed at all. She found that being around John sort of had a canceling effect on some of the stronger auras present. Though she wondered why, she was grateful for it. The day was relaxing. No worries. John and her both decided to stay for one more day, so he walked her back to her room and they bid each other a good night when it was time. xx

She had scarfed down the food, attempting to ease her discomfort. So many different people...The colors were making her head spin. At times, she nearly desperately wished to turn down her spiritual abilities. It was true that sometimes it was nice and useful to see things other people couldn't, but other times...When she was trying to be 'normal' and to fit it, it was all just distracting and overwhelming. She stayed close to John and avoided eye contact. xxxxxxxxx❝How would you like to meet the guy who runs all of this?❞For whatever reason, thinking of meeting him set off a flood of nerves in her.
