Pele watched Celsius with a raised eyebrow. The can of soda sat menacingly at the other end of the ice Celsius had placed on the ground. The ice traveled fastly towards the can and eventually caused it to explode. The drink sloshed all over, splashing even on the two girls. A sizzling could be heard as the drink melted away on Pele's skin. Turning to her bag, she placed the bird Mutant's payment into it and back to Celsius she turned. "Okay, that was really fun, I gotta admit that. Ya seem pretty dang funny ta me, Celsius, why're ya in these parts anyway? I don't imagine ya got any clue what yar doin, eh?" she smirked at the girl, grabbing another sandwich and munching on it. "Oh, we gotta go someplace in a bit. A big baddie in the gang's wants us ta come ta him. Hope he don't mind lettin ya in and all, but that's only if ya care ta come." she mentioned. Doku walked along the bridge, looking at her phone the entire time. A look on her face spoke as if something was wrong. Sighing, she put the phone back in her belt and looked at the gate in front of her. Handing her ticket to the man, she quickly walked through with Xaria and stood on the other side for a moment to talk with the girl. "We might need to cut our little get together at my shop. I have news from an associate that I am needed. However, I can give you something as soon as we reach my shop..." she trailed off. Grabbing the girl, she began to run down alleyways and streets. She kept a hand on the girl, running briskly. This part of the city was rather clean, not as clean as Dynami, but still rather clean. They eventually came to an area of the city that seemed more Japanese than the rest of the city. The buildings were not as futuristic as many of the others, but they still had many of the newer conveniences on them. One shop in particular, simply titled "Alchemy" was where they stopped. All over were posters in both English and Japanese, seemingly telling the same things. Walking inside, she left Xaria in the front of the shop, she walked through the archway behind the counter and into the back. If Xaria were to look, she'd find many potions and ingredients lining the wall. Prices were stuck into the bottles and containers for ingredients. Many seemed rather expensive, while others were rather cheap. Stepping back out, Doku placed a bottle in Xaria's hand. Peeling the price tag off of it, she threw the paper away. "Take this, it should help you with your telepathy problem for the rest of the day. It clears your mind and allows the Spirox gene to not overwhelm your sensors. If you need another bottle, give me your address and I can send you a whole case of this. However, it will cost you a little. Although, I will not charge much. Usually, one bottle costs around $200, a case of 48 being $8000 alone, you can pay me by working for me sometimes. And by work, I mean cleaning up this shop every day. What do you say?" she offered the girl.
Ananta felt the spherical orb in the sky tugging at the world more and more as time went on. Deep in the crevices of her mind, another thing was tugging harder and harder. Shaking her head, she looked straight at Xindai. "You keep trying to put things in my head that are just not true. I wish to put an end to it. My mind is not a toy that you can just poke at and stab later." she called forth her keyblade, holding it steady in her hand. Looking at the man behind Xindai, she made a remark to him. "I hope you will join me and stop this foolish mind game. I grow tired of it." she snarled, hurling herself towards Xindai, swinging her keyblade hard at him. In nearly an instant, her keyblade armor also appeared over her body, giving her protection. Natana grumbled at the commotion going on around her. She grew tired and soon fell asleep. In her sleep, a dark corridor appeared around her, whisking her away to another place. Anta smiled as Dawn fell asleep on him. He let her lay in his arms for a moment before he watched his father appear on the battlefield. "D...Dad?" he spoke, looking at him. The look-a-like and his real father began to talk. Watching their exchange, his eyes widened when he watched the look-a-like stab his father, killing him. Laying Dawn down and breaking the crystal barrier bottle, he stood up and called his keyblade. Coating the blade in fire, he glared at the look-a-like. "Hello. My name is Anta. You killed my father. Prepare to DIE!" he screamed, rushing forward and attempting to stab the look-a-like Beuce.
Can't wait to sail the seven seas!
Scoffing at the theatrics, she opened her bag and yanked out a cooler. It wasn't a large cooler, just big enough to hold a couple of cans of soda and some sandwiches. She sat the small cooler down and then pulled out a little blanket. Laying it on the ground, under the cooler, she patted the seat next to her. "C'mon, let's have a picnic." she invited Celsius. Digging into the cooler, she pulled out an egg sandwich for herself and a cherry soda. Munching on the sandwich, she looked at Celsius. "So, we're here cuz I gotta client that'll be here soon. He needs some stuff to get by for the week and he can't trust none of those other guys. Plus, he's damn scared of the mafia and gangs." chewing her sandwich, she gulped and took a sip of the soda. "See, he used ta be with the gangs and stuff, all high and mighty too, but then some years back apparently this gal was appointed ta be the next right hand ta the leader of a big Japanese gang. Simple as that, he lost his position and left. Now he tries ta hang around with nobody so he won't get caught. He's afraid they'll kill em and, basically, he will die eventually cuz they want em dead." Swallowing the rest of her sandwich, she finished off the soda. A caw and loud flapping could heard coming from the way the wind was blowing. Pele stood up and bent over her bag to search it. Pulling out a container, she walked towards a mutant. He had small, black wings on his back and feathers stuck to him in a few places. His clothing was very ragged. He wore an incredibly simple kimono that was colored a dull green. His hair hung down past his shoulders and his feet were dirty. In essence, he was a dirty, homeless man. "Thank you." he said, bowing to Pele. She bowed back and waved him off as he turned into a small crow. He carried the container in his talons and was soon gone from sight. Pele returned to the blanket and sat back down, reaching for another sandwich and drink. "Got any questions on yar mind?"
Pele listened to the mutant man as he approached her. Once he was gone, she scoffed and turned to Celsius again. "Look, I ain't got time ta screw with people who ain't gonna follow with no questions. Yer gonna get the gist of ya follow me around enough, I guess. So just follow, m'kay? And after, we gotta follow horn boy's suggestion." she spoke, turning from Celsius and walking off towards a building. Stopping at the entrance, she waited for Celsius and began to head up when she thought she was coming. They walked into a rickety elevator, one that didn't even have proper doors, the doors were just wooden and were extremely flimsy. They were more like a small gate than doors. "Don't lose yer nose." she commented, as they rode up. The top floor was rather tall, floor 24, and with only two doors. Ignoring the doors, Pele headed towards the stairs. Stepping carefully, she made sure to avoid certain steps and hoped Celsius was paying attention, for this building was rather old and the stairs were not in the best of shape. Reaching the top, she pulled on the door. The rusty hinges creaked and squeaked loudly as she opened it and stepped outside onto the roof. The wind was strong up here and could easily blow you away at times. Luckily, there was a chain link fence around the edges. Albeit, it was rusty all over and probably not in the best condition to start with. Looking around, she didn't see who she was waiting for. Crossing her arms and tapping her foot, she sighed heavily before looking at Celsius. "Well, seems like my client ain't here. May as well sit and wait for em." she said, walking to the side of small wall that had the door on it. She sat where the wind wasn't blowing towards her and took off that bag again. Stretching a bit, she waited for Celsius. Doku didn't speak the entire time they were in the line. All around them were humans and, probably, Spirox users. The longest line were mutants. They had to be searched thoroughly for weapons and other things they weren't supposed to have. Doku simply kept her eyes off of that line, not wanting to stare or get angry at it. Their line didn't take quite as long as the others. When she reached the booth with the inspector, she spoke to him. "Nice to see the line isn't too long today." she smiled at him. He spoke back to her, "Well, we haven't needed to detain anybody either so we're all happy." The man was rather bulky looking, as were the other guards at this gate. The guards all looked practically the same, except for their features and ways they acted, they could almost not be told apart. The guard looked behind Doku and pointed at Xaria. "Is she with ya? I gotta know, seeing as it's my job and all. If she isn't, she needs to go to another line!" he bellowed out from behind his booth glass. Doku sighed heavily and patted the glass softly. "Yes, she is with me. I understand it's a bit troublesome, but I'm willing to pay the price for traveling with an unauthorized person and going through this line. You see, however, seeing as my status is quite higher than yours..." she looked at him. He gulped, waiting her reply. "I could have you disposed of..." she finished, smiling at him. His eyes widened as he quickly stamped two cards and handed them to her. Blowing a kiss at him, she headed through the gate with Xaria. On the other side, she stopped and turned to Xaria. "Here's your ticket. Hold onto it while we cross to the other side. It's not far, but somehow people still lose their tickets going through...well, at least the other side won't have a line." she smiled at the girl.
i keep drawing all the time, so i guess my art is better than years ago? idk if i even showed some art in this group lmao
Ananta stepped back as Gilgamesh completely ignored her. Scratching her head, she turned to see Nequa leaving. While she wanted to try and stop her, she was just too fast and got away pretty quickly. Turning back to Gilgamesh a moment, she heard Goofy speak behind her. Turning around she shook her head. "No, no, Goofy. I don't think she's that Mim you're talking about. She's also um...like us." she spoke a bit bluntly about that. "Well, Wart, sorry you had to see that." Looking at Kel and Stratos, Ananta backed away from Gilgamesh. "Not going to lie...but this guy was with that helmed lady..." she said, getting defensive and drawing her keyblade out. She held it in her left hand in a defensive position.
Nui, give me back the sword!
Sighing deeply, Pele ignored the blade guys' attempts to be friendly. They were weird and unfamiliar to her, so she had to be on the defensive! Approaching Celsius from behind, she slung an arm around the girls stomach and began to yank her away from the dog. "Celsius, this ain't the time fer playin around, we don't know em...heck, ya don't even know me but that ain't the point. We gotta be careful, guys like them are just itchin ta get the best of girls like us!" she spoke matter-of-factually to the ice queen. All the while, she kept yanking at her in an attempt to get the girl off the poor guy. "Sides, he don't sound too happy with the pets, ya hear?" she commented on his strained laughter. "Just come with me, we can go explore some if ya want." she offered the girl. It's not like she didn't want to talk with people, it's just she's a busy girl and she didn't want to be late to her next deal. She also was intrigued by this girl and her skin. Even if she was all too bubbly, it irritated her a bit, she wanted to get to know the girl. At the same time, she was hoping she didn't annoy the guys hanging around. Or rather, the ignored blade man and the large dog in front of her. In fact, Pele was trying to get away from them. It would seem strange, but touching either of the girls was a bad idea. One would freeze you and the other would probably leave horrendous scars on your hands, probably. Nobody has dared to touch her skin and lived to tell the tale...
Ananta was ticked off. Not only did Beuce run in and ignore everything she had suggested, but he went off and began FLIRTING with the enemy. That was a mistake, seeing as he could probably lose a few things in the process. His life and two other things that need not be mentioned at this point. Ananta facepalmed and fell to the ground in disgust and disappointment. She really expected better of Beuce, especially after he was nice to her and all, you'd think he wouldn't flirt with another girl right in front of her. Guess that threw everything out the window and made things moot. Either way, she stood back up and walked over to the four armed man. She sauntered up to him and ran a finger down his muscles, batting her eyes at him. "My, you have very strong arms...what's your secret? I love a man with muscle...~" yes the ~ was needed. Having ignored what Beuce just realized, she did not care a single bit at the time. She was just trying to follow Beuce's cue.
this poo, poo family i remember it well
Ananta looked at Stratos and sighed. Scratching her head, she sighed even deeper. "I mean, we should all be sure we're all prepared for anything, you know? And I don't think Wart here should try and fight when we get to the town square. He looks pretty weak, you know? No offense at least...but I just don't want a kid that's been put in our ward to get hurt because we all rushed in to fight something..." she trailed off. Grasping the crystal around her neck, she squeezed it and fiddled with it before she started walking towards the village some more. "Oh and Stratos? Do not call me Ana." she said firmly, turning back for just a moment before continuing. Assuming the group followed and they arrived at the village, she stopped a bit before the square. Peeking around a corner of a building, she spied a large man with many arms and somebody she didn't quite recognize or remembered. She held a hand up and motioned for everyone else to take a peek before she scuttled back, out of view of the square. "Okay," she whispered. "What do we do? Run in, ready to fight, or take a defensive approach?"
Pele watched as Celsius ran away before she even had a chance to say another word. Standing up, she hoisted the bag over her shoulder and walked over to Celsius and the man with many weapons on his person. She listened to them talk amongst themselves before she took a defensive position in front of Celsius. She towered over the girl and her bag was able to hide her from view, but seeing as she was very talkative and bubbly, it was not enough to keep her from talking to these strange guys. She listened to the bladed one talk before a friend of his arrived. "A werewolf, huh? Duncan's a stupid name..." she commented, under her breath. Reaching a hand behind her, she put her hand on Celsius' arm, just in case they needed to run. She turned her head to the girl and whispered, "If they try anything, I want you to grab the bag and hold on tight...I can run pretty well and a few extra pounds won't do much to me..." she finished. "What's a werewolf and a sharp guy like you doin out here? This ain't a place ain't exactly nice ya know. Course, seein as the dog here reeks of needing a wash..." she commented, snickering to herself. Doku watched as another girl approached them. Placing her arms on her hips, an apple in her hand, she stood in front of Xaria. "Nothing is wrong, we were just about to leave. If you will excuse me." she said, grabbing Xaria and walking out of this alleyway rather quickly. She began to walk towards the large door that would lead to the Idenshi district. She kept a brisk pace, trying not to let the other girl catch up. She would rather not have a human finding a couple of Spirox users in their district. They already oppressed them enough by placing them in districts. Reaching the door, a long line had formed. Seems like today was busy as usual. "I didn't want to get here too late...but it seems we did. I suppose we may as well get a place in line." she spoke, heading towards one of the shorter lines. She stood there and waved for Xaria to follow her.

This blue girl was really weird. In fact, so weird, she hugged Pele immediately. Being caught off guard, Pele fell backwards as soon as the hug was initiated. Thinking quickly, she moved the bag to the side so it didn't get crushed underneath her. Laying there with the coolest girl on top of her, Pele was a little flustered before she talked. "So what if I'm warm, ya haven't said why you're freakin cold as you is." she spoke, sitting up and plopping Celsius in front of her. Staring at the girl, she frowned and scratched her own head before speaking again. "I'm Pele Ahi and I'm a Mutant." she spoke outright, wanting to get that out of the way. "You're obviously either a Spirox or Mutant as well. Seein as you're so cold, but I don't care. I like it." she pouted, crossing her arms. Doku watched the girl eat the apple and stand up. Having finished her first apple, she took another one and began to eat it as she rose. Staring at the girl, she hovered over her to get a good look at her. Nothing too out of the ordinary. "I suppose you're safe to talk to, but if you don't want to get found out, why are you here? I mean, I could have you reported and all..." she spoke curtly. Munching the apple, she leaned against the wall. "But I won't, seeing as you're either a Mutant or a Spirox." A beep eminated from her belt and she looked down. Reaching in, she grabbed a phone and looked at the screen. "C'mon, let's get out of this area. Or at the very least, away from the public so you don't get hurt or something. I can take you to my shop if you want. It's a bit away...but not too far. Unless you've plans, I could help you.." she offered.
Today was hotter than it had been lately and Pele could really tell. Her scales shone brightly today, warning her of how close she was to start melting her body again. Tossing some coins at a shopkeep, she took the icey treat from him and sat down at a fountain in the Kikei district. The bag she had on her back thumped beside her. Sipping the icee happily, she looked at her hand to watch the scales dulling out slowly. Finishing her icee, she looked and saw a girl all dressed in blue and walking into the district slowly. Tossing the drink cup in a nearby trashcan, she hoisted her bag over her shoulders and approached the girl. Grabbing her arm, she felt a coldness she hadn't felt in such a long time. It scared her a little bit, but she didn't want to let go. "Why are you so damn cold?" she spoke loudly at the girl. Fruit floating was a strange thing to see. Fruit didn't normally float on their own, unless they were tested on with Spirox, but that's different. Watching a girl fail to make fruit come to her, Doku watched as the girl ran off to hide in an alley. Grabbing a bag of fruit from the very stand the girl had been trying to take some from, she handed the bag to the vendor and paid for them. Chomping one as she approached the alley, she stooped down beside the girl and handed her a fresh one, biting the one she already chewed off of and holding it with her teeth. Setting the bag down under her, she took the one from her mouth and swallowed. "I'm not sure why, but floating fruit isn't normal...well, not so normal when the person is a thief. Didn't your mother tell you not to steal fruit or anything?" she questioned the girl.
