A Jehova's witness came to my house one day.
I nodded at her and took whatever she gave me and cringed afterward.

Ananta nodded at Karina as she left. And then, screams of agony could be heard. Looking around, she looked over at the illusion having been finally shattered. Smirking, she knew that this war was, hopefully, close to an end. And then, she heard somebody call out to all the wielders. Knowing that whatever this man wanted may just be for the greater good, Ananta reluctantly went to the cavern in the mountain. She stood there as she saw a broken Xindai chained to a wall. "He looks to have suffered a millennial of pain." she commented, seeing the clear pain on XIndai's face. "Are we right in sealing him away, however?" she asked of R. "If we seal him, how long would it be before he was released again? Can you guarantee he will stay in this place forever?" she sighed. "I will only help if you can assure me of that." she said, completely ignoring Beuce.

Natana grumbled. Not only did this useless dragon die, but now that lady she took from the Underworld was trying to wake up another guy. Moving over towards them, she watched as the man named 'Glen' screamed like a little girl. Natana got a kick from that. Laughing hard, she walked over and knelt down beside Gexln. "Why the heck did you scream? They don't look so tough to me." she said. Looking at Karina, she scoffed. "Especially that woman that needed to be revived. If she made you scream, then I wanna know how the heck she died in the first place. Must be weak!" she raised her hands, shrugging.

Anta was busy healing Satsujin when he heard Beuce talk to Dawn. Turning, he saw that he managed to block Dawn's attack. Staring in amazement, Anta could only imagine how much of a godmodder Beuce must be if he keeps dodging hits left and right. Turning back to Satsujin, he saw him stirring a little. "Well, at least this is working..." he said. He winced a little, feeling that his crystal was going to be running low soon. "Although, I hope it doesn't take too long...I need to rest..." he sighed, increasing the healing energy a little.

Looking out at the humans hurrying around, Dead kept her eyes moving. She was sitting on the edge of a building near the central government. She kept an eye on the guards standing there, but soon shook as she felt a chill travel down her spine. Glancing up, she saw the sky was soon to be black from night fast approaching. She chuckled, thinking of about how everyone in this city was probably going to be heading home and locking their doors. Many of the humans were scared of the mutants that inhabited the night. Of course, if any of them happened to see her sitting there above them all, they would probably die from seeing her. Dead chuckled again at the thought of being a lowly human, looking up, and seeing Death staring them down with glowing eyes and a floating skull.

Standing up, she stretched. The skull that floated around her was above her at this time. Reaching up, she pressed a button on it and watched as it shrank down to a more compact size. Holding her scythe, she attached the skull to a chain on the end and tied this around her waist. "Looks like my fun is about to begin...better get ready." she cackled. Running to the other side of the building, she leaped upwards and grabbed onto a fire escape. Readying herself, she leaped again and landed on the top of this building. "Now, where do I want to head first...?" she thought aloud.

Doku gasped at Damnation grabbing her. She screamed in agony as he slammed her against the wall. Her arms shielded her stomach as best as they could, but she wasn't ready to see Valinton rush towards Damnation. "No!" she yelled, trying to stop him. She was too late and could only watch as Ethel caused him to slam against a wall. This soon was imprinted in her mind as her eyes filled with tears and soon the world went dark around her. After some time, Doku awoke again. On the ground and unable to move, she opened her eyes slightly to see Valinton coughing and gasping for air. Blood was on his lips and chin, possibly from coughing it up, and all she could do was lay there and watch. She couldn't move. Sleep paralysis had taken it's hold against her as she watched events unfold in front of her.

Still lost in thought, Anta stood there and blinked a few times. After the final blink, she realized that she was being encased in a black orb. It felt lonely in this orb. Exposed and alone, Anta curled up and held her the crystal around her neck tightly. In all this loneliness, it was still warm and kind, washed over the cold darkness around her. She soon found herself passed out and was given a moment to talk with the crystal. In her dream, she saw a woman that gave off the same warmth that her crystal gave her. The woman reached her hand out and Anta took it. The woman pulled her closer and whispered into Anta's ear. Anta's eyes widened as she soon awoke and found herself on a beach, still curled up from her time in the dark orb.

Not too far away, she could hear the same girl from before yelling out for somebody named Dimitri. Anta didn't want to get up. She could still feel the warmth from her dream and the crystal that hung around her neck. Tucking it back away, she heard the girl from before above her. "Hi, I'm Dawn." the girl said. Anta saw the hand outreached to her. Turning to be on her knees, she soon got up on her own. Dusting off the sand from her clothes and her hair, she looked at Dawn. Turning around, she saw another girl lying on the beach. It seems she didn't wake up just yet. Scratching her head, she found herself with sand still in her hair. Frowning, Anta looked for her weapon. It was lying on the ground in front of her. Picking it up, she attached it together again and held it in her hands. Closing her eyes, she used her staff to summon winds and blow the sand out of her hair.

Placing the staff on her back again, Anta turned back to Mist and walked to her. Kneeling down, she examined the girl. This was the only time that Anta would get anywhere near somebody. As long as they were asleep, they wouldn't know she was near them and she wouldn't have to interact with them. It also helped her calm down, seeing as Dawn was just a bit away from her. She couldn't handle talking with a person that beautiful. She just wasn't worthy enough, even if she introduced herself to Anta.

Doku felt a little better. Being allowed to stay at his place and have some protection that knows Damnation's ways better than anyone was great. She did as he said and managed to bring a backpack and two bags over to Valinton's house. She sat down on the couch and sighed. She was now staying here and honestly, he had a rather boring house. She wanted to follow Valinton and go to where Damnation is, but at the same time, she knew he was in a sour mood. Scratching her head, she stretched on the couch for a moment. Opening her eyes again, she had made her decision. "I did say that I would follow him..." she muttered. Sitting up, she walked out the front door and place his hidden key back where it was hidden. Looking around, she headed towards where the Black Market is.

After arriving, she headed down and found herself standing next to Ethel. She dared not say a word, lest she made Damnation even angrier. So she stood there in silence, gripping her arm with her right hand. There were two people in this world that Doku was most scared of. And they were both standing here in the same room as her. This might not end well, but she couldn't just leave Valinton. She had promise him she'd stay around for as long as possible. That meant going everywhere he went, practically, and protecting him to the best of her ability. Luckily for her, she had a few syringes of sedatives hidden away, ready to knock a person out. Looking at Ethel, she couldn't help but notice that this girl seemed to care quite a lot for Damnation. Or at least, that was the vibe Doku was getting from her. She decided to ignore this and pay closer attention to the men in front of her. She was ready to give her side of how things happened once and if she is asked.

Pele tried to stop Celsius, not too sure why she had to leave. But as soon as she was out of the restaurant, Celsius was gone. Afterwards, Pele began to walk slowly back home. This whole day was odd and she didn't want to just be heading home alone so late in the day. Pele knew who and what came out at night and, suffice to say, they weren't the best of things to encounter on your way home. However, she still have a bit of day left to get home. So, instead of walking fast, she walked slowly. Eventually, she reached a convenience store and headed inside. The owner was too busy reading a newspaper to notice Pele walk inside. This was great for her, because as of now, she didn't want to be noticed by anyone. Heading to the freezer section, she began to pull out cold treats. Ice creams and other things that were pretty cold and could be eaten. Once she amassed a large enough pile of food in her arms, she went to checkout. Not saying a word to the man at the register, she walked out. Now she had to get home quickly or these would melt. So, she did and when she got home, she immediately locked herself in her room with a tub of ice cream.

Gulping, she stood and stared at Valinton. What came next was the biggest reveal she had for him other than what has been said. "My Lord does not want me to be pregnant, he would have rather had me get an abortion. I lied so far and made my family promise not to say anything. But I fear he will learn soon...I need to leave this place, but I do not know where I could go..." she said, frowning. Looking down at her hand holding his, she rubbed his hand with her thumb. "Ouch." she said, having accidentally pricked her finger on his claw. "It will only be two weeks, I promise, afterwards you will not have to worry about me living with you. If you agree to it, that is." she said. Letting go of his hand, she placed her hands behind her back and waited for his answer. On one hand, she was hoping he said yes. That would make things easier for her and she wouldn't have to worry about her Lord finding out about the pregnancy. However, if he refused, she would have to simply live inside of her shop. That was not a pleasing thing to think about and Doku simply shook her head at the thought of it. "Also, it is getting rather dark, so it is a little dangerous, right?" she mentioned. A ringtone could be heard. "Is that your...phone?" she said. "That...that might be Damnation...well, whatever it is, I will follow you as long as I can!" she said, a determined look spread across her face.

    Origins

[/url]Having fought off quite a few of the dark invaders, Anta stood there. She was huffing, out of breath, because this was probably the most fighting she has done since receiving her weapon. Yeah, she trained with it, but she still hadn't had a chance to use it in a real fight. Well, not until now anyway. Although, when she heard a voice behind her, she froze in place. The dark creatures all around her crept eerily towards her as she stood there, stricken with fear and anxiety. Anta didn't expect somebody to actually run over and start fighting with her. Turning to look at the lady that came to help her, she was even more afraid. This woman was beautiful. Much more beautiful than she was. That scared her quite a lot. Not wanting to seem awkward, she backed away and tripped over her own feet, falling flat on her back.

Within moments, a heartless had managed to jump on top of her and try to attack her. Anta had finally managed to snap out of this, but only to block the attack. Her heart was racing a million miles a second. Both from the attack and from the fact people were talking to her. Not wanting to seem weak or even wanting to die, she shoved the heartless off and stabbed it with her blade. It disappeared into a heart and floated away. Anta watched this, having just now defeated her first one. Tilting her head, she couldn't help but wonder a few things. Where did the heart go and what happened to the bodies of people who became heartless? So many things weren't adding up right now. Shaking her head, she turned to see a few more of the dark creatures had managed to move again after suffering wounds she had inflicted upon them prior. Not taking a moment to rest, she quickly stabbed each of them and watched the hearts float away. Scratching her head, she stood there lost in thought.

Unfortunately, a heartless was just on it's way to attack Anta. Let's hope somebody stops it in time.
