Any news @Misty
The room grew heavier and heavier as the girl scooted far away from Dead. Instead of following her, she knew she had to act fast or this room would suddenly collapse on her. Running to hide behind some rubble, she emerged with her scythe in her hand. She looked like Damnation no longer and slowly walked towards Ethel. "Look, I know you're afraid of this guy, but that doesn't mean you should try and kill me because of him." she smirked at her. "Perhaps we could talk for a little while?" she suggested. Indeed, this girl made her quite curious. "Ah, where ARE my manners!" she giggled. "My name is Dead, what is yours?" she said towards Ethel, bowing to her. The skull from her Scythe grew back to it's large size and floated around Dead. "I'm a mutant that's seen many things and know of many others. I can do many things as well, but I don't want to get into that boring drivel. You interest me." she said, pointing at Ethel. "So, I want to get to know you." she said. "And calm down, it's not like he's gonna find you any time soon...if he did, I'd hack and slash at him!" she giggled, making fake slashes and hacking at the air with her scythe. "Count on it." "They'll let you in as long as I'm with you." she smiled at Neko. "Besides, I'm sure you need someplace to sleep that's better than some alleyway anyway, right?" she said, petting Neko's back slowly, scratching her ears. It was true, Neko was almost never allowed back at the family home, but if Doku wanted her there, then she'd not be questioned. Even their Lord would have to allow it. No matter what. "Just...don't tell him about this tonight, okay?" she said, referencing their Lord. "He doesn't need to know about this. Zylen didn't kill us and I doubt he will in the future. I'll get the shadow men to watch over the houses just to be sure." she nodded. They approached the family land and stopped. Doku stepped down and opened the front gate with her password. The guardsman at the gate spoke with her and soon enough, a shadowman appeared and bowed to her. Turning to Neko, she motioned for her to come inside. "It's okay, Serena, I'll take care of you." she smiled at her. At this time, Doku was almost home and she could taste the sweet fragrance of the bath gel that would be running all over her body when they got inside. It was something that had to be experienced to be believed.
Finishing her stick and looking at how pointy it was, Ananta felt proud of herself. "This is a great stick. I'm sure it'll get me out of some sticky situations!" she said, standing up and dusting herself off. She heard Beuce explain something to Stratos and perked up. "Oh, I know that one too. it really is powerful, but I can't imagine the strain it'd have on a person." she nodded. "Especially somebody who isn't that strong, like you Stratos. You're pretty new, so you're not that strong yet I'd imagine..." she said, tapping her chin. And then, Beuce approached Mim and accused her of being an NPC. "Now, now, Beuce. If somebody can't make up their mind, that doesn't automatically make them an NPC or whatever." she chuckled.
Dead flinched when Ethel scooted away. It was true, this room felt a little heavier than the others, but it didn't bother Dead as much as it should have. And then she had the gall to say that Valinton was her brother? This girl certainly was not trying to get on her good side. This only made her a bit angrier. She kept her cool, however, and simply patted the girl's head. "No, no, dear. I'm not that guy's sibling. I just met him tonight anyway, says he was gonna find somebody that caused a ruckus down here." she smiled at Ethel. Her claw dug into Ethel's skull. She was searching for the one thing Ethel was most afraid of. Soon enough, there were images of Damnation entering Dead's mind and that piqued her interest. "Oh? You're afraid of this guy?" she said, chuckling. "He's such fresh meat though. This won't do..." Dead sighed. Concentrating, she did her best to make her appear as Damnation to Ethel. The look was spot on, Dead thought, and she cackled in the voice that matched Damnation's even. "Why are you so afraid...of this man?" she said to Ethel. "He has weaknesses and I'm sure you'd be able to simply crush him if you wanted to do so." Doku watched as Zylen fell down. Neko got out from under him and nearly pressed her paw into his head. Huffing and heaving, Doku slowly walked to Zylen. Kneeling down and sitting on her knees, she flipped Zylen onto his back. His words, begging them to not kill him, still rang in her ears. In the end, he was just a mutant doing whatever he could to not get Damnation mad. That saddened Doku, knowing that Damnation was able to do such things, even though he was probably the biggest coward. Reaching her hands around his neck, she watched as Zylen flinched. Probably thinking she was going to strangle him. Instead, she grabbed his mask and covered his face back up. "All I want is for you to act as if this never happened. If Damnation asks, tell him he never asked you to come after us. Tell him that he is delusional and never gave the order to kill. If you cannot do that, then at least act like it worked." she said, looking over him and dabbing at his scratches with a cloth. Carefully standing up, she heaved and walked over to Neko. "And Zylen...you do not owe me a thing for doing this. Just take what we gave you and leave." she said, climbing aboard Neko again once she was done cleaning herself. Doku was very tired and in incredible pain. She just wanted to get back home. "When we get home, Serena, let us take a bath together at the bathhouse, hm? I am sure you need it." she said, chuckling.
Let's see... I want Ananta to have Lady Luck equipped for boss battles... And Sweet Memories equipped for everything else.
Beuce's explanation of this ability or magic or whatever he had was pretty far fetched. it sounded like it could possibly work, but why would they not want to attack a boss or enemy? Ananta rattled her brains, trying to think, and it dawned on her. "Oh! Do you mean, it let's us have a moment to wait and see what the enemy wants to do next and thus we get a chance to heal or take a rest?" she said. Stratos spoke next and she nodded. "Yeah, I was thinking of something we could use. Like...this?" she said, holding up a rather decently sized stick. It was pointy and thick, perfect for smacking people or things with. Though it could use a bit more sharpening to be a bit more deadly. "It needs a bit more sharpening, but I guess we could all try and sharpen our own sticks while we wait for Madame Mim to do something." she said, grabbing a sharp rock and using it to try and sharpen her stick some.
"Well, I do know it but...I can't cast it right now. it's like something is blocking me from doing so. I used to be able to use anything I wanted at any time, but now I can't. Must be some kind of physical limitation or something." Ananta said to Stratos. Looking over at Kel, she frowned. "This is no time to go to sleep, Kel!" she said, poking his side. "You should be sitting up and helping is plan, not laying down for an afternoon nap!" she sighed. Looking at Beuce, she heard he had new magic. "What? New magic? Oh, do tell. I'm interested." she said, looking at Beuce. "I mean, it's not like I probably don't know it already, but still, it sounds interesting to me." she said.
Ananta watched Beuce make his crash landing and then turned to see Kel and Stratos over by some grass. She approached them and sat down next to Kel. "Honestly, I was going to suggest we whisper our strategy, you know? That way she wouldn't hear us...I hope..." she said, sighing. Putting her chin in her hand, she stared at the witch. "I know I can cast Cure, Blizzard, Fire, and Break Time, but that's it. I hope she's weak to either Blizzard or Fire...does anybody have Thunder?" she asked, looking at them. "That'd really help, honestly." she said, smirking. "Maybe she'd be too shocked to attack?"

Dead grew tired of this whole interaction. Not only did Valinton ignore her request of money or sweets, but he even left her without saying another word. Scoffing, she decided to wander around the human district for awhile. Taking upon the appearance of death itself, she walked around and examined her surroundings. Of course, she eventually came upon Damnation and the girls around him. Dead knew of Damnation but had never met him in person. Then again, what mutant DIDN'T know of this man? He had a way with dealing things and most of the time they ended in somebody dying. For instance, the auction earlier. It ended in disaster and that made Dead chuckle. Watching them interact, she saw one of the women he pushed down run off and away. Deciding that she wanted to follow this girl, she followed Ethel back to the market, although a bit behind to not be noticed. Stopping at the entrance of the market, she watched as Ethel ran into a room and shut the door. Suddenly, Dead could hear crying and crumbling from below. The ground shuddered as the crying eventually calmed down a little. Dead was very curious now and knew that the girl had to be the cause of this. Going against her better judgement, she decided to head down and find the room Ethel was in. This didn't take long, seeing as the wall was cracked and broken in a few places around the door that lead to the room. Jiggling the lock a little, she found it to not be locked. Opening the door carefully, Dead looked down to see the girl was sitting on the ground and sobbing to herself. "Aw, what's wrong little girl?" she asked her, kneeling down behind her. She poked at Ethel's shoulder, smirking. "Did your boyfriend break up with you?" she teased her. Dead wasn't so sure if this girl would hate her or react positively, but she knew that something was wrong and she was greatly interested at this point. Doku watched as the two began to fight each other. Zylen had removed his mask and sank his teeth into Neko. Neko replied with doing the same and soon they were tumbling around on the ground in a tussle. Not wanting to see Neko get hurt, and knowing her family would kill her if that happened, she reached inside of her belt and pulled out a small bag. It contained small containers of poisons and other things. She examined each vial and found one that would have a paralyzing effect once administered. She only kept it for emergencies and it seemed like now was just the kind of emergency she needed. Sticking the needled into the bottle, she pulled out enough of the potion to fill the syringe up. This next part was crucial and she knew she had to be careful. Stepping out of her hiding place, she slowly walked up behind the two. Zylen was on top and was struggling to stay on top, but he was on top nonetheless. Getting closer, she got to the side that he wasn't able to see enough and stabbed him in the neck with the syringe. She quickly pushed the stopper down, pumping the whole thing into him, and stepping away quickly. She almost fell backwards, but was able to catch herself on a garbage can. She now had to wait and see what would happen.
Ananta sighed. This witch was really taking her time with all of this. Although that wasn't such a bad thing seeing as Beuce hadn't come back to this world yet. Ananta looked at her pocket to check and see what items she had. "Ether...Mega-Potion...Phoenix Down..." she spoke to herself. "Maybe we should start discussing strategy." she suggested to Kel and Stratos. "When Beuce comes back, we can talk all about it and hopefully decide on something to do, ya know?" she smiled at them. "I know for sure I can use Break Time if we need it...Cure...Blizzard...and Fire. What about you guys?" she asked them.
I'll have Ananta unequip Thunder and equip Break Time.
Good luck finding one for Ananta.
Ananta stood next to Stratos and held up a sign that read 'Beuce x Kel' on it. She was cheering for them! At least, up and til Kel went and Falcon Punched Beuce out of there. She watched as he flew up high and disappeared from sight. Stepping towards Kel, she tapped his shoulder lightly. "Um, will you be okay Kel?" she asked him, looking genuinely concerned. "Do you need some water...?" she asked, scratching her chin. "I can cast fire on some snow if you need it..." she said. She put a hand on her hip and patted Kel's shoulder. "You'll be fine. The only infection you need to worry about is catching the crazy from Beuce." she said, nodding her head sagely.
To me, you seem a bit too nice for your own good. This comes from talking with you as well as this thread. You always seemed to be the one that did everything you could to try and make relationships work, but at the same time, the girls could also be at fault. Each one seemed like they used you for some reason or another and to me it's just unfair. But life is like that. It makes you go through heartache and pain before you can truly find that one person you're destined to be with. Even if you don't find that person, most times people are happier alone than with somebody else. Then, there are the people who would rather be surrounded by friends and people they care about that they talk with them occasionally or all the time. To me, Krowley, you are the type of person who'd benefit from having a lot of friends. You'd be able to really shine as yourself with people you feel comfortable around and not having to put up a front for somebody that may or may not be using you. I think that you should make friends and talk about things and have fun with them and enjoy life to it's fullest. A lot of times, having a good friend to talk to when you're feeling down is 100 times better than having a girlfriend or boyfriend. Because there are just some things that can't be said to your lover that can be said to your closest friends.
Wow that was pretty good. I like it! :3
I just uncovered my AC in my window from the winter AND THEN IT GETS ****ING COLD AGAIN.
NO, YOU REMINDED ME OF NEKU, I MISS HIM. ALSO REPLIKU, I MISS HIM TOO.
That's not a sandwich, that's an orgy and cat is right in the middle of it all.
Ananta noticed Kel was a little flustered looking. She waved at the two to come over and turned to Beuce. "So, are you jealous you didn't get a smooch?" she asked him, smiling. "You could get one too if you wanted. I wouldn't mind. But that means you'd have germs from Kel, Stratos, AND me." she chuckled. "Are you up to that level of contamination?" Ananta sighed, turning back to Mim. "What's your next rule, witch?" she asked her. Thinking back to Mim's first rule, Ananta remembered that they couldn't use keyblades. Looking around, she tried to find something else that could be used instead of a keyblade. They were surrounded by trees and that was about it. Going into the hut was out of the question, too. Crossing her arms, she began to think about this.
