if I'm just going by the digits 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,0, that's like people just going by the planets in our solar system. We can easily see them all, but we can also see things like 10, or a planet outside our solar system. We can also see things like pi that can't have their true value expressed by just the digits, similar to a star. You're saying that because I can see the planets in my solar system of numbers, without looking outside of it, without even looking at any negative number, I can determine that 0 is the only number that is neither positive nor negative; but even by looking at different planets, and stars, and nebulae, and quasars, and black holes, in multiple different galaxies, we can't decide that Earth is the only planet that falls into a very small range that will be habitable. On a side note, 0 does have a value. having a value of 0 and not having a value are different. 0-1=-1, but (the amount Y changes for an X change of 1 (aka the slope) in a vertical line)-1 is not -1. Otherwise when you added 1 back you'd get 0, which means Y will always be the same, and all vertical and horizontal lines would be both vertical and horizontal at the same time.

Not quite. I haven't seen very many numbers, if you consider every possible number. In fact, rounded to the billionth decimal digit, I've see 0% of all numbers. I can, however, say with certainty that zero is the only real number which is neither positive nor negative.
