Brook convinced me to build a Harpie deck.. I built it Synch/Xyz which is working better than expected and has produced some amusing fields. Leaving some random screencaps against some of Brook's decks here. Spoiler Sharks--- Heraldic--- Scraps--- The end result was: my harpies beat the first two decks consistently, and get murdered by scraps.
You beat me one time out of three because you and your deck were nearly as good as my deck and I were. My Fabled deck has very little true consistency, and makes its plays simply because it has so many plays to make. It takes a familiarity with the deck that I no longer posses to turn a bad hand into a victory. In our first duel, I drew poorly and couldn't salvage my game so I lost. At the same time, had you been slightly less able to finish me quickly, and had I been slightly more skilled, I could likely have turned the game around, possibly even synching Quasar. All I would need is one draw of CD or Morphing Jar, or Chawa to start throwing out combos, as my hand was heavy in Ganashia and Cerb.[DOUBLEPOST=1359687263][/DOUBLEPOST] A person, not an archetype. Jay hasn't been dueling for a while.
Nothing too bad, I think. Star appears to have decided to leave KHV for reasons unrelated to the arena.
Well, goodbye.. Seeing as how I don't really go onto DN anymore, aside from to duel specific people. @Nemesis: Welcome back.
Get a thief to steal them back before you kill the robber.
I reccomend putting it in your stash, then leaving it their until either A: Cormag, Tana or Vanessa hits level 20, or B They all die. If they all die, sell it. Otherwise promote whoever hits 20 first.
I personally like Falco better, but I think that may be partially because I don't want them to randomly generate a wyvern, and I tend towards units that are fast over defensive, and resist over defense. The general consensus is that Wyvern Knight is the best.
It would be more amusing if it were the same kind of top that Beyblades are.. Especially if it were a Beyblade.
* Do not sell if avoidable * Wyvern Knights tank physically well, and have a chance to ignore the opponent's defense. Weak to magic. * Falco Knights tank magically decently, and have good dodge rates. Kill Mages dead. * Wyvern Knights can survive a few arrows. * Falco Knights rarely survive arrows, but can dodge them better. * If you promote Tana or Vanessa to Falco, you can use a cool but impractical overkill move later, assuming neither die.
Don't sell it unless you can't afford weapons and absolutely must buy them. Try to level characters as high as possible before upgrading them, preferably all the way to twenty. Your stat growth rates don't increase when you promote, and when you promote you reset to level one (keeping current stats), so training to 20 then upgrading and training to 10 gives you the same stats as training to 10, then promoting, then training to 20, but it takes more XP to level in the promoted form. I believe Wyvern Knights have higher defense and strength than Falco Knights, but have lower resist and speed. I could be wrong about that though. Wyvern Knights also have an ability where they have a small chance to completely ignore the defense of an opponent. On the other hand, if you get two or three Falcoknights, you can use Triangle Attack, which gives the attacking flier an automatic critical that can't miss, as long as two other Falcoknights are next to the target.
It's generally best to restart if you lose more than one person in a level, as each person you lose makes you weaker, and thus more likely to lose more people later, and become unable to win.
Also, remember to sell any gems you get, and visit every village for the items they give. Colm > Rouge is probably best, but Joshua lands Silencers better than anyone else. That being said, Assassin is just a novelty, as Silencer is 1/2 crit chance, and more often than not landing a crit will kill anyway, especially if you double, which sword users do if they're decent. Adding to that, Sword Master has a raised crit chance, and Assassins can't steal, while thief/rouge can.
Except the ones that you can't buy, which are the cool ones. Reginleif, Gram, Sieglinde, Excalibur, Latona.. Also, @ Jaden.. Then amount of annoyance where I want to throw my controller across the room makes games not very fun, but it makes me very very determined to beat them more often than not, Also, @ Random Number Generator, Why you no give Vanessa HP!?!?!? Nine levels and nothing but one HP, one or two skill/strength/def/resist, and nine Speed.. Why? It's 50% HP growth chance! [/rage] Edit: Oh, that cheap.. In that case except that one Dark spell Lyon uses that doesn't break.
If she rides a horse, you're talking about Selena, The Fluorspar. You can't recruit her. If you talk to her, you will convince her that the Emperor is not himself, but she'll say that she will remain loyal to him until the end.
The first time I played a pokemon game, it was a game where there was a 2x2 patch of grass in the starter town. I failed to find the way out of the town, and ended up raising my starter pokemon to level 32 in that grass, before ever leaving.
To kill level one Vanessa that's.. at least 16 damage, after defense. If that wasn't a critical hit, that was a very strong enemy or a double hit. But yeah, you have to be careful when you're training weak characters, and following them around with a healer is a good idea.
Pegasus Knights are amazing if you train them early enough that you can train them. In my Ephraim game, my Tana could solo levels if she wanted to and there weren't too many archers.
I have created the list of all possible results that test can give, if anyone cares to look at it. Spoiler
How do you add Breeze from deck to hand though? And wouldn't the free normal summon on Sirocco help you to get down Gale, Bora, and Gladius, whereas Elphin's free normal summon can only be used when those conditions are already met? And Elphin is level six, so the synch with Gale or Breeze hits nine, instead of eight. Edit: oh, you're just using Breeze as a level three blackwing tuner, regardless of its effect. Okay.
You don't really need so many redundant synchs. Sirrocco would probably be better than Elphin. Maybe one of each. You get bonus points because I didn't know Falling Current. You'll probably get more use out of 17 than terrorbyte. I don't know blackwings though, so I can't tell you how strong it is, or how fast it is, or much in particular about issues it has.. But i think 3x Zephyr is probably too much with Whirlwind limited.
