they're broken for me too. When I grabbed the URLs, they look good, but they're of the format "http://yugico.com/customcard/198437.jpg" and when I follow them I get a broken link image, so there may be privacy settings involved on "yugico.com".
Creature swap is powerful, yes.. But it's really easy to defend against. Set CotH, then when they use creature swap to steal your FGD, use call to revive Totem Dragon, and then give them a 0 atk monster in atk mode that they can't change the position of. Simply negate the summon of what they would trade for it, and it's dead. Bring back your own mystic tomato or sangan or whatever to give to them. Heck, revive Acid Golem and give it to them. On top of that, if you use something like Forbidden Lance to make a card unaffected by S/T in chain to swap, you can target it and not have to give them anything, when they still have to give you something.
There's a difference between ignoring someone, and simply not having a response.
Now that it's past the time where he could actually do it.. He could have chained Defusion to return BEUD to extra deck, then chained to that with waboku, losing advantage, but surviving the turn. Also, I think rafa meant seal.[DOUBLEPOST=1363382124][/DOUBLEPOST] He's forced to summon them. The only question is ATK or DEF.
You should ask for a chain after Night Beam. He did have a card he could activate in response.
change Twilight to "You can not activate this effect the turn this monster is summoned." The current wording is meaningless Also, I notice you didn't say the stats, type, and attribute of the apple tokens. I'd assume 0/0 EARTH Plant, but right now they aren't anything.
If Twilight were in the real game, it would be banned in half a second, but I guess with non-random it is only a plus one, like so many other cards..[DOUBLEPOST=1362842136][/DOUBLEPOST]Oh, one thing I forgot: make harmony say that non-tuner monsters can be treated as tuner monsters for synchro summons. Otherwise you get things like "Now I tune Armory Arm with Stardust Dragon to summon Shooting Quasar Dragon!" or "Now I tune my Gorz with itself, to summon Black Rose Dragon!"
The first time I opened this list of cards, I saw that the very first card was ridiculously OP, and stopped reading. Now upon reading the whole thing, there are only four cards I have problems with. The first is obviously Sparkle, as she is a one per turn search on any normal or quick-play spell. summon sparkle, now you have MR, Dark Hole, Creature Swap, Heavy Storm, Pot of Duality, whatever you want.. And if you can make her survive the turn, she can do it again next turn. The next two are Celestia and Moon. They're obviously very powerful, and intended to be that way.. But I think they're more powerful than you intended, as their attack increases affect themselves, causing them to effectively be a 4.5k beater with a good effect, and no summoning condition. foolish burial > MR means game in most cases, and you can get one or both of those searched with Sparkle. The last card is Discord. He's a four-star D-HERO Plasma without the relinquished effect. I think you can see the problem.
How about this then: Change it so that after 24 hours without the opponent responding, a player is given the right to claim victory, as long as their opponent doesn't post. If I post at 4 PM, log on again at 8 AM and see there still hasn't been a response, then log on again at 9PM, and see a response it shouldn't matter if that response was made at 8:30 AM or 8:30 PM. At the same time, this allows people who just want the duel to be over to end it, while allowing people who want to continue the duel to let their opponent have more time.
hmm.. Maybe.. hm. I'll have to look for what you said about it then. I'm pretty sure you said something about it at some time.[DOUBLEPOST=1361746632][/DOUBLEPOST]As for the rest of that post, what I'm saying is that I'm no better than you are at that sort of game. In fact, I'm most definitely worse. I'd image the average person isn't much better than you are at that sort of game, and only a small subset is significantly better, but that subset is what you will always compare yourself to, if not directly because they're better, than at least because they're move visible.[DOUBLEPOST=1361747585][/DOUBLEPOST]Well, it appears I probably am thinking of something else.. But I did find this snippet: That's the general situation I was trying to respond to.
Honestly, I can't remember the last time I truly beat a game.. I'm not certain that I've really beaten more than three to five video games in my life (excluding children's games, and short flash games). I'm awful at platformers, I can't get more than a few stages into any old game like Sonic. The people who can beat those old very hard games tend to be people who have a lot of practice playing that type of game, if not that exact game. I remember you saying that you were awful compared to the people who can do perfect songs in Guitar Hero or Rock Band on impossible.. I can't play a song on impossible. I can't even play some difficult songs on hard. If you're going to compare yourself to someone who practices for a long time and manages to do 100% perfect on impossible one time, as if they can do that every time, you're always going to feel like you're no good. I know I would probably be quite frustrated if I thought I needed to be able to flawless songs on impossible, and beat Sonic games.
I'm weighing this for grade 0 1-2 grade 1 3-4, grade 2 5-7, simply because that's easier. It will need tweaking to get back to your grades. atk ≤ 1500: p= 2*atk+3000 (6000 @ 1500) 1500 ≤ atk ≤ 2000: p= 4*atk (8000 @ 2000) 2000 ≤ atk: 2.5*atk+3000 (10000 @ 2800) (13000 @ 4000) How well do you think that scaling works? And it is set up such that high attack always means higher power. Edit: 3000 is the lowest power I could find, and 2800 is the highest level seven monster atk, while 6000, 8000, and 1000 are the highest I could find for grades 0, 1, and 2, respectively. Edit Edit: I actually can't find the 3000 power anymore, but the numbers are nice how they are >.> You could use p=1.4*atk+4000 if you wanted to, which gives 4k lowest, and 6100 as the max. You could also change that to +3900 if you care about the max more than the min, or 4/3*atk if you don't care about really messy power levels. Edit Edit Edit: 1.4*atk+4000 breaks the consistency, in that it's 100 higher than 4*atk at 1500 atk, so don't use it. I'd recommend going with 1.4*atk+3900, or 2*atk+3000.
I could try and make a formula if you like.
Well..The power system is really weird in that a monster with 650 atk has a power of 9750 (which should really be something grade 2) while at the same time making something with 700 atk have a power of 7000 (this should be grade one), and making something with 1200atk have 12000 power (probably a grade four in your system) while something with 2400 atk also has 12000 power, and something with 1250atk only has 6250 power, making it weaker than anything with more than 400 attack.
I think his problem is that he's always comparing himself to the best. When he plays with his E-Heroes he thinks he sucks because he's not as strong as people using meta decks. He's commented about how he sucks compared to the people who post videos on youtube. I'd image that holds for everything else he does, and many things he wont be able to be as good as the best people at, even if he spent his life trying. I think that that discourages him, so he doesn't try as much, and thinks that he can't be good at anything even if he tries hard.. When really he already is good, or at least decent, just not close to the best.
I want my Brio back >.> Not that I've played fables more than a few times since he got banned. Why the sangan though? Seriously. I also don't really like warning to one. There's so little summon negation to begin with, it seems odd to go TT and mirror to two, warning to one. I don't really like Lumina to three.. But I guess Lightsworn isn't meta anymore.. it still makes me unhappy. I like them better with 1x Lumina. It's nice to see One Day at one though.
You might be better off replacing clans with types. Also, I don't see why Chaos Goddess is in Royal or Gold. Just Angel Feather + Shadow Paladin would seem better. Also, what about things that special summon themselves, or from the hand? Since Vanguard has unlimited calls per turn.
It was a joke based on Brook's wording when he was telling us to flip back face-up after he used book of eclipse on us. You can see that I used cars for the "twin drive". There's no way that I know of the play with yugioh cards. I think Stardust was thinking about a Vanguard arena though. @Anime duels: I'm surprised Jaden didn't put Aki vs. Alexis.. Anyway, Zane vs. Antinomy
For varying definitions of "dead". Also, Welcome back yugi.
I upgraded my build after his scraps murdered me the first time, and now they're even better.. Although I still need to clean up the extra deck. a few screen caps from those duels: Spoiler
