"Things we forgot to put into the original game so we're going to put it in this one and hope people won't notice."
[muffled sobbing in the distance]
And you're 2 hours and 18 minutes away from me. 8D Give or take.

I think she rocks that green. You go gurl.
Let's see, because of poor choices, I went to sleep at 3:30am last night. And then woke up at 9:30am in severe pain. 1.5/10 would not recommend. I can't have coffee though. ;; Can't really have caffeine period aside from limited doses. I am intrigued.

Building more shelters takes money. Those shelters need to employ people. The animals need food, water, and veterinary care. I know there are shelters that operate solely on donations but... And space is an issue because there's simply so many. People are more likely to adopt kittens/puppies over older animals. And as for releasing them, a lot of these animals are pets. They don't know how to take care of themselves in the wild. Dogs are many many generations removed from the wolves our ancestors domesticated. A lot of breeds simply are not wild worthy. The ones specifically bred by humans that introduced a whole slew of health issues. Like the bulldog. I mean: hip dysplasia, respiratory issues, the folds on their face require daily cleaning, susceptible to drowning.

guys, just stop. I feel terrible enough already.
Seems whenever I try to explain my feelings on a subject, it just creates conflict.
usually when I hear the word 'sweetheart', it's because I'm being catcalled when I'm out riding my bike or out taking my nephew for a walk. Are those men trying to be nice too? Am I being over dramatic because I associate pet names with being put into an uncomfortable situation? yeah, i ignore it when it happens, but it kind of sticks with you after the fact.
I was at work. Doing my job. They could have easily called me, 'Ma'am'. Heck, I would have accepted 'Miss'. But they chose the pet names. I don't know them beyond work. There's a whole rant about retail workers being dehumanized and women being treated with respect in the workplace that I could type up but don't really feel like it at the present moment.
I got called 'hun' and 'sweetheart' today at work. Both by older men. I feel so violated.

You just have to know how to show 'em who's boss. And how to make them into your footstools when they act up.
