Are people not taught to cover their mouths when they cough and/or sneeze? I'm just wondering because I have seen so many people fail to do this and it's mind boggling. Had a customer sneeze in my face today. Oh I'm not already sick or anything. It was an adult also.
Skype is also odd about signing people out. Even if you go through the process, you might appear online to others. So I usually try to give some indication in my status if I'm asleep or whatever.
People who won't celebrate Halloween because it's a 'institutionalized pagan holiday' but have no qualms celebrating Christmas which is essentially the same thing.

Day 10 Tired of being sick. Did not sleep last night. Just tired.
Keeping on the cereal topic: Those selfish kids not letting the rabbit have any cereal. Even when there was a poll that said that people thought the rabbit should get some cereal. They let him have 1 spoonful before they yanked the bowl away from him. And those other kids that always want to steal that Leprechaun's cereal.
I'm tired of feeling sick. I believe this is day 9 that I've had this cold. I miss being able to taste food.
Asking genuine questions is okay. It's how we learn. This is a case of history determining the usage. I hear Americans being called "Yanks" by British soldiers in WW2 movies and Docus. And overall, it's okay because they were our Allies and we've gotten along pretty okay with the Brits since the Revolution. Not terribly certain of Scottish history but I assume they're okay with it since at least one Queen called herself 'Mary of Scots'. "Japs" has a more unfortunate history tied to it. WW2 era America was...not a nice place to anyone that wasn't a white male. We didn't like the Jewish people that much. And our country was still segregated. And then Pearl Harbor happened. Any person of Asian descent was rounded up and put into concentration camps. Because 'those dirty Japs' couldn't be trusted. And really, they were kind of treated poorly before Pearl Harbor, working on the railroads in horrendous conditions, like the Irish. It's kind of like how you don't hear Germans referred to as 'Krauts' these days, apart from WW2 era movies. It became sort of a slur. Do the terms exist? Yes. Should you use them? Probably not.
If you have to stop and think about it, chances are it is.

I kind of meandered into a sort of small fandom to begin with. Wandered into the TRON fandom. I've had the opportunity to flex my writing skills and meet some great people. And yeah, pretty pictures. Although I've discovered that I am incredibly picky about themes.
I still have that feeling about the tumblrs.
