My internet is going out for a couple days. If it doesn't get shut off today, it will for sure be off tomorrow. I know jayn put me partially in charge during her absense so hopefully fuzzu and sax will be all you need. If you have a question that neither of them seem to be able to answer and jayn's not around, someone can text me. Sax and Andrew have my number. I won't post until I'm back so that I don't start something I can't finish. You guys can just say marina went with to the library. Feel free to message me about replies she would give. I'll keep up with the thread at work, but probably won't sign onto skype much depending on the signal strength of the wifi across the street from my house. If it's not an emergency, please just message me on khv. I will for sure see it that at. Thanks.

Okay so, my internet is going out and I'm not sure if it's being cut this evening or tomorrow, but it will for sure be gone by tomorrow. It will be gone for up to a couple of days since billing and processing and whatnot. I won't be posting until it's back so that I don't start something I can't finish, but cstar will still be here. Any questions should be directed to her. I'll keep up with the thread at work. I can usually leech the wifi across the street from myself house so I should be able to check skype occasionally, but don't count on hearing from me. If it's really important, send me a message on khv so that it is guaranteed I will see it.

I might still be able to leech the wifi across the street, but the signal isn't strong. I'm not sure if it'll be disconnected today or tomorrow, but tomorrow for sure. I'll keep up with the thread when I'm at work but I probably won't post till it's back on so that I'm not starting something I can't finish. You guys know what you need to be doing so you shouldn't require my guidance. I'm trusting you to get it done in my absense. I'll sign into skype occasionally to see if there are questions but you're better off getting whole of me here. I doubt it will happen but if some dire stupid emergency comes up, you can text me and I'll do what I can to get nonlinear right away. THEY BOARDED THE PLANE IN THE EVENING, A LOAN FROM AZRAEL. IT LEFT LEON UNSETTLED, BUT THERE WASN'T MUCH HE COULD DO ABOUT IT NOW. THEY STILL HAD RECEIVED NO WORD FROM XATHANAEL OR RAZIEL SO THEY WERE OUT OF A PRIVATE JET AT THE MOMENT. MOST EVERYONE HAD FALLEN ASLEEP ON THE RIDE. FORTUNATELY, THEY DID NOT GO FAR, HAVING ONLY TRAVELED TO CHILE. WHY CHILE? BECAUSE THE COMPASS POINTED WEST AND NO ONE QUESTIONED JUST WHERE EXACTLY AND HOW FAR WEST THEY NEEDED TO TRAVEL SO CHILE SEEMED GOOD ENOUGH. AFTER FOUR HOURS THE OTHERS WERE AWOKEN FROM THEIR SEATS ON THE PLANE, USHERED OUT AND TO THE NEAREST HOTEL LOCATED IN SANTIAGO. THEY WOULD START AGAIN IN THE MORNING ONCE ALL THE WEARINESS WORE OFF. FOR NOW THEY SLEPT, LEON INCLUDED. EACH DAY WAS GROWING MORE VITAL THAN THE LAST. HE WONDERED HOW MUCH LONGER THE REST OF THEM WOULD MAKE IT...

Marina did not want to be joined by more people. Asterion's presence was both a welcome and a burden. He was easier to handle than Garret, but Sangria was just an annoyance. They started to go over what had happened in the Hall of Games, which was a total waste of time since they already did that, in the Hall of Games itself. What was the point of doing it again in the bar where it was loud and noxious to the point of no concentration; especially when everyone was getting 'drunk.' This was a pointless. She wanted out of the bar. Marina held onto her pile of presentation papers -- with the book underneath -- on her lap. There had to be some sort of translation somewhere.

Well, if we're talkin' about discoveries, I went to part of the basement level of that Hall. He held his fist up to his mouth, suppressing a hiccup. Augh. Garret would be one to keep her eye on when alone with him. Aside from a couple dozen barrels labeled 'Wine', I found a dungeon. At least, I thought it looked like a dungeon. I only peeked my head in there for a few good minutes before gettin' the hell outta there. He grabbed his bottle again and downed more of the liquor inside. She was surprised that he did not say that all the wine was consumed by him before leaving. It would have seemed fitting after the amount he continuously downed since the moment arriving at the castle. So make of that what you will.

Garret and Sangria started going on about alcohol again, in which Marina royally tuned them out. She did not care for their pointless conversation and even as more and more drinks were shoved in her face, she refused to take any. This experience had turned her off alcohol entirely. She now wondered what was so appealing about it as a human. The Valen seemed to be fascinated by the way it effected the mortals and consistently overdid it.

Right, right ... we thought about getting in there ourselves, this lad and I ... She tapped Johnis' back with her bottle-holding hand. Oh right, that Johnis guy had sat down beside them as well. For some reason, Marina had totally spaced of his entire presence -- weird. But ... we decided against it. And what'd you know! I think a familiar face and his party just walked into the ruckus here a few moments ago! She let go of Johnis and placed her bottle on the nearby table. Yoohoo! Over here!

Marina followed Sangria's line of sight to see the others that had gotten trapped in the basement walk into the bar. That was a relief. At least they were safe. Oh good, someone useful. she muttered to herself. Marina pushed out the chair behind her and rose to her feet. An excuse to leave this table and the hot 'n' heavy bar. If you will excuse me. She pushed the chair in with one arm, holding her things with another. Marina approached the door and those waiting at it, wanting out of the bar.

He wrapped his arms around her, pulling her in closer. AUGH! He was - he was enjoying this, too much; more than the other times. This wasn't like before when she was using sex to manipulate his feeble human male mind. This was ... well this was not right! Not at all! She hated him so much -- these despicable feelings were unnatural to one such as her. She enjoyed destroying people -- tearing them down until they were nothing but pain and suffering. She didn't enjoy this - this, augh.

Lu wrapped her fingers into his hair and rolled to her side, breathing him in. Every kiss was better than the last. She couldn't seem to get enough of him fast enough. Her wings were even getting in the way and they never got in the way of anything. Her nails tore through his clothes effortlessly. He had more of the exact same kind anyway -- weirdo. This was new and she didn't like new -- she secretly loved it, but would never say that. That would show weakness.

She wasn't weak! Only the weak gave in to things like this. Love? Love was something she used to torment others, not feel. Love didn't exist in her world and it damn well wasn't going to start now.

Her yellow eyes widened with a mixture of pleasure and disgust. She didn't - they didn't -- NO! No, no, NO, nO, NO! Lu pulled away breathless and feebly attempted to wrap her exposed body with her miniature wings. Good for nothing, piece of shit wings. Stupid curse. It wasn't so bad. Alistair made her marks feel accepta -- STOP. No one made her feel anything. This was all just a trap. She shuffled away from him to the other side of the bed and wrapped a blanket around her body. Blonde hair cascaded down her shoulders, tickling her chest and she pulled her knees under the covers. "I hate you. I hate you so much." she spoke into the blanket. It smelled like him. It was ni -- no. It was awful. It was gross and awful and this didn't really happen.

Lu pulled the covers over her face. This body was still unfamiliar to her. While it had her punishment marks, all her previous scars were gone. They added character and told a story. The X she had over her chest as a promise to Zachariel was no longer there. This body was still fresh and untainted. How long would that last? Not very. She would make sure of that. Especially after that horrible thing she just did with him.

LEON WATCHED SAM CAREFULLY. "Sticks and stones may break my bones, but words will never hurt me, or however that crap saying goes."

    "BASICALLY," HE AGREED SOLEMNLY.

THERE WAS A LONG SILENCE THAT STRETCHED BETWEEN THEM. LEON WATCHED AS SAM'S COMPOSURE BEGAN TO WAVER. APPARENTLY WHAT HE WAS SEEING WAS IN FACT GETTING TO HIM AFTER ALL. IT ALWAYS WOULD. THEY ALL HAD THEIR FATAL FLAWS -- HIS WAS URIEL. SAM'S WAS HIS SELF - CONTROL. HE INHERITED THAT FROM ABADDON HIMSELF. IT WOULD BE SOMETHING HE STRUGGLED WITH FOR THE REST OF HIS LIFE, WHICH MAY NOT BE THAT LONG, BUT WHO'S COUNTING ANYWAY? THE BEST HE COULD DO WAS MANAGE IT, NEVER FULLY OVERCOME IT.

"If I knew where you were... If I knew...!" HE WAS AT HIS BREAKING POINT.

LEON RAISED A CURIOUS GOLDEN BROW, WONDERING JUST WHOM HE MIGHT BE TALKING TO THROUGH THE MIRROR.

SAM MANAGED TO CATCH HIMSELF IN TIME AND HAND OVER THE MIRROR. "Here." CONTEGO IMMEDIATELY SHIFTED BACK INTO A PENDANT UPON CONTACT WITH ITS MASTER AND HE SLUNG THE NECKLACE OVER HIS HEAD ONCE MORE. THE FIERY MEXICAN GOT TO HIS FEET, SCRATCHING THE BACK OF HIS HEAD. "I wasn't expecting... that."

"NO ONE EVER IS." HE NODDED TO HIMSELF AND STOOD UP AS WELL. LEON WAS RELATIVELY THE SAME HEIGHT AS SAM AND STANDING ON THE CURB GAVE HIM THE EXTRA TWO INCHES NECESSARY TO MEET PERFECT EYE LEVEL. HE SIGHED, SHOVING HIS HANDS INTO HIS FRONT POCKETS. "I HAVE TO ASK. WHO WAS IT YOU SAW AT THE END THAT PUSHED YOU ALMOST PAST THE LIMIT? EVEN IF YOU NEVER SEE THIS PERSON AGAIN, THEIR INFLUENCE IS ALWAYS GOING TO BE PLAGUING YOUR THOUGHTS AT THE BACK OF YOUR MIND."

Ahranna lifted her gaze to see Adam watching as well. "It just reminds me of the training we did traveling. But at least he has... determination?" he whispered.

Quietly, she shut the door in front of them. Ahranna turned to face the teen with a resound nod. "Yeah, training is training, whether it's here or there doesn't make much of a difference. You're more than welcome to use the room. The Weapon's Room is through that door right there. They've been conveniently located right next door to one another. But, that room at the end is Lucifer's so ... I would maybe not go in there if I were you. Oh, and that one across the hall is the Hall of Mirrors and that other room we passed that's beside it is the Classroom where the Nephilim used to study but don't really anymore. And the stairs over there lead to the dungeon which is filled with monsters and other creatures in cells and a torture room and Beelzebub's room but Temeluchas killed him so I dunno what they're gonna do with it now and -- " she took a much needed breath, "it's really dangerous down there and that Sariel guy spends most of his time down there now doing his experiments so maybe Beelzebub's room will become his own personal workshop, I dunno, anyway, I totally forgot to tell you that I have a surprise for you!"

Ahranna was red in the face from talking so much. She grabbed Adam by the hand and started racing down the hall. Turning right to head back towards his room, she made a whistling sound and knelt to the ground. "Here kitty. Here kitty, kitty, kitty. Come on kitty. It's okay." Ahranna continued to whistle until a familiar feline shape came into view. The cat started purring as it rubbed up against her hand and she smiled down at him. "I brought Rubbish for you. He seemed so neglected and near death that his odds looked better roaming the palace with demons than it did on that pesky plane." Rubbish curled up in her arms and she stood up straight, holding the cat with a smile on her face.

    WEARING OOC CLASS:
INTERACTION: Suzie & Blaze DAY: Thursday Night / Friday Morning MOOD: Annoyed

Sirena was happily eating her salad with grilled salmon when miss Bubblegum thought it would be okay to sit down beside her. She looked up from her dish, with clear disgust written all over her face. Outside of the Dark Daughter meetings, she didn't really care for Suzie. She was worthy enough to be accepted into the Dark Daughters, but the girl couldn't make a decision for the life of her. She had to leave everything to up to a coin flip. It was really just laziness. Sirena rolled her eyes at the girl and returned to eating, shoving a forkful of spinach into her mouth.

You keep rolling those eyes and they will fall out of your head. Suzie commented while sitting down.

Sirena rolled her eyes again and swallowed the bit of spinach and salmon in her mouth. It's worth the risk. Good eyeball exercise, she replied curtly. She looked around the table at some of the other members of the DDS. They usually grouped together, but occasionally branched out to other tables as well. Some of the members were ... peculiar. None were quite to her standards. She mostly tolerated them more than the other students.

    Hello girls.

Sirena looked up to see a smiling Blaze standing before them. Just great. This wasn't her day at all. She took a seat next to Suzie, her roommate, inviting herself to the table. What was with all of these unwanted members taking a seat beside her? She sipped off of her blood - laced glass of wine. The taste was becoming more enjoyable and the Vamps didn't mind fledgelings drinking wine since their bodies processed the alcohol faster. Without the blood, it didn't produce any sort of buzz. It was a sort of intoxication all on its own. Alcohol could never compare. She couldn't wait until they were allowed to take their own human partners. Feeding off of humans as a fledgeling was frowned upon since they weren't viewed with enough self - control. Who were the vamps to talk? She could do just fine on her own. Maybe she would find a refrigerator in secret.

What's on the agenda for today?

Oh right. Those two were still there. She looked up to Blaze, who had asked the question. Well, might as well throw the offer on the table. I was thinking we would go out tonight after classes. Ya know, a little DDS get together before the next full moon ritual. It sounds like a lot of fun to me. She gave them a wink before returning to the food in front of her.

    "There you are."

    "HERE I AM," HE MUTTERED.

SAM TOOK A SEAT BESIDE HIM. "So then, about your training..."

LEON SIGHED. THAT WAS WHAT HE WAS OUT HERE FOR. HE RUBBED HIS HANDS AGAINST THE KNEES OF HIS JEANS AND LOOKED UP TO THE BIG GUY BESIDE HIM. "YEAH, YOUR TRAINING. SO YOU MANAGED THE FIRE, BUT THERE'S A LOT MORE TO IT THAN THAT. YOUR BIGGEST ISSUE IS SELF - CONTROL, WHICH WAS THE POINT OF THAT WHOLE FIRE STARTING EXERCISE. IT HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH THE FIRE ITSELF, JUST TO SEE IF YOU COULD DO IT WITHOUT GETTING WORKED UP AND LETTING YOUR VOLATILE TEMPER GET THE BEST OF YOU. YOU NEED TO BE ABLE TO HANDLE IT IN A SAFE MANNER." HE LIFTED THE CORD AROUND CONTEGO UP OVER HIS HEAD. THE PENDANT FELL INTO HIS PALM AND SHIFTED INTO THE SHAPE OF A MIRROR.

"CONTEGO WILL WORK JUST FINE FOR THIS NEXT PART. IT'S SAFER THAN COLLECTING A BUNCH OF PEOPLE." HE HANDED THE MIRROR OVER TO SAM. "THIS WON'T BE PLEASANT, BUT IT'S THE BEST WAY TO SEE HOW YOU HANDLE OTHERS' OPINIONS OF YOU. THE MIRROR WILL SHOW YOU ALL SORTS OF HURTFUL THINGS PEOPLE HAVE SAID TO YOU. I DON'T EXPECT YOU TO KEEP FROM NOT GETTING RILED UP AT ALL, BECAUSE THESE SORTS OF THINGS INSIGHT NEGATIVE FEELINGS IN ALL OF US; BUT IT'S TO SEE HOW WELL YOU HANDLE IT. BEAR IN MIND, MOST PEOPLE CAN'T DESTROY ENTIRE BUILDINGS WITH A SINGLE PUNCH."

Mali was such a sourpuss. "I take it she was a product of Lu, she was rather blunt... or would that be Danel... I dunno now..."

She cocked a brow and looked at Adam curiously. "Well, technically neither. Danel and Lu don't have Nephilim children. She was one of those ones Temeluchas brought here. So if anything, she belongs to her. They all do. Though, Mali is the only one that really takes after Temeluchas. Though, that Soren has a hot temper. Sometimes I like to spy on him in the Training Room. I bet that's where he is now! Let's go. You'll see." Ahranna dragged Adam to the right and rounded another corner to the Training Room. She held her fingers up to her lips for him to be quiet and cracked open the door to see little boy Soren hard at work. "He's always in here, working to the bone."

Apparently he thought it would be okay to lay down beside her. Ridiculous. "You know... you're really impatient...." he said.

"Who has time for patience?" she mumbled angrily.

"Just give it some time... and soon you'll be greater than you are now...if that's even possible." He shut his eyes with a chuckle and Lu stopped plucking at the blanket.

Her yellow - eyed gaze lifted to meet his and he just stared at her. Such an ugly face, with that gross red hair. All this praise was sickening. He wasn't like this before. She still didn't understand what caused him to change -- dumb bastard. Lu bit her lip in frustration. That damn face of his.

"Besides, though I do not know if you consider it a good or bad thing, I'll always be by your side... ready to do what you wish."

That was it, too much. She sat up, fire burning in her yellow eyes. Lu narrowed her gaze at him, ready to wrap her slender hands around his throat. "Shut up! Just stop talking already. God! You just don't know when to quit. I can't take this anymore. Just shut your mouth." Her blonde hair slung over one shoulder and she leaned over him, her hands pressed against the mattress on either side of his head. "You are the most frustrating, insufferable human I have ever met." Her bottom lip quivered. What was the point of even keeping around such a stupid human? She collapsed her arms and pressed her lips to his. Humans.

LEON DRESSED QUICKLY. HE DIDN'T WANT TO BE COOPED UP IN THE ROOM LONGER THAN HE HAD TOO. IT WAS WARMER TODAY, SO HE PICKED SOMETHING MORE APPROPRIATE FOR IT. HE DIDN'T HAVE A LOT OF CLOTHES, BUT THERE WAS ENOUGH OF A VARIETY. IT DIDN'T REALLY MATTER TO HIM MUCH. HE HADN'T BEEN ON EARTH LONG ENOUGH TO CARE ABOUT APPEARANCES AND THE ONLY PERSON THAT HE WOULD HAVE CARED TO SEE HIM A CERTAIN WAY WAS DEAD.

HE POURED THE ASH - DIRT COMBO INTO A SMALL VIAL AND HUNG IT FROM HIS NECK BESIDE CONTEGO. THE VIAL WAS TUCKED UNDER HIS SHIRT FOR SAFETY, WHILE HIS SHIELD'S PENDANT FORM SAT ON DISPLAY OVER HIS CHEST. HE MADE HIS WAY DOWN TO THE LOBBY AND NOTICED ALEJANDRA AT HER POST. LEON GAVE HER A NOD BEFORE HEADING OUTSIDE. BEST LET THE RECRUITMENT GO TO SOMEONE ELSE TODAY. HE DIDN'T WANT TO MAKE ANYTHING WORSE, JUST SPEAK THE HONEST TRUTH. TODAY HE WOULD HELP SAM INSTEAD, IF SAM CAME DOWN LOOKING FOR HIM, THAT WAS.

LEON SEATED HIMSELF OUTSIDE ON A CURB. HE HELD HIS ARM OUT AS GOLDEN FLAMES LOOPED AROUND HIS HAND AND HE SIGHED. LEON REALLY DIDN'T HAVE IT IN HIM TO KEEP THIS UP, BUT HE NEEDED TO. IF HE EVER WANTED TO SEE PURIEL AGAIN, HE WOULD NEED TO PROTECT THE WORLD THAT THE NEW BABY ARCHANGEL WAS BEING BORN INTO. HE THUMBED CONTEGO BETWEEN HIS FINGERS FOR COMFORT. HIS PARTNER HAD BEEN BY HIS SIDE LONGER THAN ANY OTHER ANGEL. IT WAS HIS OLDEST FRIEND, JUST LIKE THE WEAPONS WERE FOR EVERY OTHER ANGEL.

"Sorry Sorrry, it won't happen again..."

    "Good."

"My mistress is the strongest there is.... she has no need to dirty her hands after all..." Alistair said closing his eyes with a bright smile.

He's mocking me. Her expression soured. He knew damn well that she quite enjoyed getting her hands dirty. This was all just a joke to him. Her eyebrow twitched and she resisted the urge to lunge at him and rip out his throat. He wouldn't be able to say such ridiculous things without his throat.

"Hmmm... though, if you don't like being called cute, how about pretty?" Alistair asked happily.

Her brows knit together and her face turned red. She gave Alistair a shove and crossed her arms over her chest. "You think this is funny. I don't see why I even keep you around. Honestly -- sitting here mocking me. I aught to gut you. It's just one thing after another with you." Lu turned to him, still not looking pleased. He was enjoying himself.

Alistair had fallen back on the bed without resistance. Her yellow eyes flashed to him once, then back to the wall across the room, brooding. "Come now, I'd rather you not get your hands dirty, my guts really aren't worth it, besides what you call mockery I call praise." Alistair said with his smile never changing as he sat back up.

She glowered at him. "Shut up," she grumbled, flopping back on the bed. Her newly blonde hair fanned out around her in a circle and Lu looked up at Alistair, less angry and more annoyed. "I'm going to have to start all over. Things would be more effective with the stronger ones, but the weaker ones that don't know whom they are will be easier to control. Such a waste of time that was." Lu rolled onto her side and started tucking at blanket, pulling the strings loose.

Lu was still adjusting to the new body when Alistair looked up from his place on the bed. "So that's your new body." Alistair said, buttoning up his shirt before placing his jacket on. She nodded. He rested his hand on his chin as he continued to sit on his bed. "Well...I've gotta say, I much rather prefer that old body of yours... but this one is quite cute." He smiled.

    That bastard smiled!

Her yellow eyes blazed and she narrowed her brows at him. "This body is not 'cute.' There is nothing cute about me. I hope you burn to death while having all your limbs ripped apart from you torso. I could do that to you. It would be easy too. Don't call me cute." She glanced around his room -- much smaller than her own -- and wrinkled her nose. "I liked it better in here when it was on fire." she muttered. It was decent then. This is just - vomit. Her room was better. It was bigger, and emptier, and colder, and darker. It was meant to keep people out. A Dark Angel should have an uninviting bedroom, some place no one wants to visit. Her's was like that. No one would dare step foot inside.

She inspected his patch job from afar. "Did He give you those wounds? That's what you get for being stupid all the time Pet." Lu pursed her lips and begrudgingly crossed the room to sit by him on the bed. "Next time you let someone get that close in an attempt to kill me -- not that they could have, but it's not the point -- I'll end you." She looked up at him with an angry face. Being stuck in the mirrors for more than a day was a pain in the ass, but it kept her alive.

Alistair did some magical hand waving crap. She could feel her consciousness being pulled towards him. Gross. Her body shivered and rippled before tearing free of the mirror behind her. Lu was ghostly and moved with an astral air about her. Her soul - projection whisped around in a playful manner.

"There... you're free now..." Alistair said calmly as he straightened up a bit.

You should have broken the mirror, it would have been far more entertaining. This form was lacking a voice without a body. She needed a solid form. As convenient as it was to move with the wind, it was time to take on a new shape. She was growing tired of the last one anyway.

Turning away, Alistair walked over to his bed with a sigh. "Go on with the mockery and stuff...I'll be here listening, or doing whatever you need this useless body of mine to do." Alistair said lazily.

She rolled her eyes. As fun as that sounds Pet, I have something else in mind. Be back soon. Temeluchas gave him a wink before she disappeared like vapor.

It didn't take long to find a decent host. Her ghostly finger prodded at the growing cold cheek. This one was in fine shape. There weren't any unnatural signs of death. She had enough gruesome marks on her to begin with. More was unnecessary. Whatever caused this one to die must not have been too traumatizing. It was now or never. Humans these days were much better at responding to deaths, which meant if she didn't acquire this one, she would have to search for another. She shut her eyes and willed herself into the fresh corpse. There was a distantly familiar tugging sensation as her spirit filled the body. The eyelids snapped open and a dark smile spread across her face. The Dark Angel hopped to her feet and searched the room for a mirror. She frowned at the sight of her half disfigured face, but it was something to expect these days.

Lu waved her arm wide and mist surrounded her body, pulling her back to the deep depths of Hell. She couldn't have been gone for more than a few minutes, not that it mattered. When the darkness cleared, she was standing inside of Alistair's room once more, only solid. Her hands ran down the front of the black dress and she tossed the long blonde hair over her shoulder. "What do you think?" she asked, without any real concern for his answer in her voice.

Ahranna waited until the masked man walked away before approaching Adam. Things were really tense after that meeting. It was the worst one by far. She couldn't believe that Lucifer just blew up Danel like that. She knew it was in his nature, but to see it happen was another story. Ahranna put her best foot forward and tried to smile. She tapped Adam on the shoulder and slipped her arms around his bicep, leading him back downstairs. "You okay? The first meeting is usually pretty intimidating, but never to that extreme. It's too bad about Danel. He was pretty cool." She poked him in the cheek as they made their way down the stairs. "It's really not so bad here. Plus, we'll get to see your friends soon so you can get outta here for a bit. Oh! That reminds me, what's the deal with Brandon?"

She puffed out her lips into a pout and scowled. "It's like he never notices me. I'm always there, trying to get his attention, and he just looks like he's seen a ghost. I mean really, it can't be that hard to believe I'm there. You'd think at this point in time, they'd all just assume that everyone they meet is either a demon or a fallen angel. I mean, ya'll don't socialize with too many humans after all. Oh, except for that one Danel brought here after Mammon abducted what's - her - face. I never remember. Not the point. Um ..."

She let out a big breath of air. Ahranna was trying to do her best to make Adam cheer up. He was probably getting sick of her always talking. Oh well. One of the Nephilim popped out from a side hallway, stepping in front of them. "Oh, hi Mali."

"Ahranna" she said with a profound attitude.

Ahranna pressed her lips together. "Watch ya doin'?"

"Getting somethin' to eat." The blonde haired Nephilim girl walked right past without another word and made her way upstairs. She was an unpleasant one.

Temeluchas waited impatiently for Alistair to arrive. She sat in the reflection of his room for far too long. What good was he? The dumbass needed to ask her what to do next. Was he really that clueless? He had already moved her once, how much work was it for his dumb brain to realize that gee, maybe he should move her again. Humans. They were just a waste of airspace. Tch.

When the door finally opened, she rose to her feet and did the best she could to peer out of the corner of the glass. It took another minute for the stupid fuck to come into view -- so slow. "Bout time."

"Ah... Well that fell to shit ... do dim down the mockery please.... I so am not feeling quite well..." said Alistair.

She rolled her eyes. "You look terrible. It suits you." Her knuckles knocked against the glass barrier in annoyance. "Would you let me out already? I'm tired of sitting in these damn mirrors."

While they were in the middle of looking at one another, Sangria managed to pop in, unannounced -- for very typical of her. She set down a tray of drinks and started whispering to Garret. Marina could not hear the woman's side of the conversation, nor did she care what the other had to say. The only part she could make out was something about how all the drinks best be gone once she returned. Augh. Marina was none too disappointed in the sight of Sangria vacating the building after that, if only it could have happened sooner.

Garret started muttering to himself after she left. Uh-huh, yeah. Man, for someone who knows how to get people buzzed quick, you sure can kill it just as fast. Which was then followed up by him finishing off the glass in front of him. Men. But man, can you make a good drink. He popped his neck from side to side and stretched his arms out before motioning for Marina to follow him. She rose to her feet, curious as to what was about to happen. C'mon. I got work to do and you have things to learn about.

Is that so? She asked, almost amused. It was always interesting to see men try and tell her what to do. No one was the boss of her. She controlled them. Valen or not, that would not change. Marina trailed behind him as he started picking up broken pieces and oddly turning them into disks. That was intriguing.

Mmm, now that I think about it, I haven't properly introduced myself to you. He kept his back to her. It was true that he neglected to introduce himself, but minimal effort was taken to find out his name earlier. Well, the name is Garret. His gaze met her blue eyed one as he worked without even looking at what he was doing. Garret must have been well in tune with his abilities to work so efficiently without needing to watch what he was doing. The room was coming together in no time. My title is 'the Mischievous Phantom'. I'm capable of 'Plundering' aspects of objects as well as objects themselves and then 'Transfer' them to anything else as I see fit. Oh, and I can also turn 'Invisible', but that's not as useful as you might think around these parts. He tacked on the last bit as he finished fixing the hole in the wall.

I dunno, invisibility seems pretty okay to me. she quipped with a bright smile.

Oh yeah, and the things I plunder are turned into disks so that it's easier for me to keep track of. Pff, let's see...

Fascinating. Her blue eyes watched him work carefully. While she truly did not care as to what any of them did, knowing their powers would be advantageous should anything happen.

I didn't participate in the last game, so I'd ask about you and what you've gone through, but considering how ****ed up these games of ours can get, I'm sure you don't wanna talk about it. He blew some air out.

He was right. She absolutely, positively did not want to talk about it. The mere mention of her game sent Marina back into a downward spiral. So what if he was not a part of it, he was still one of them and she did not like them. All Marina cared about were the ones that had been left behind. She would even take Kallisti over the Valen. Harley's cousin had surprisingly made for a good female friend, which was saying a lot. I do not, she replied curtly.

Mmmm, let's see... Uhhh.... Oh, yeah, right. These games that we've been playing, you know that they were all to decide who would succeed the King of Aether, right?

    She nodded.

The thieving Valen stopped working, holding a disk in his hands. If you didn't, well, basically, that guy is tired of being head honcho and he wants someone to succeed him and what not. To decide who would take over, they decided to have these games to determine a successor. It's been a millennium since these games have started, and there hasn't been a winner. Wait, before I go on, did anyone else explain this to you before hand? Because I'd feel stupid telling you something you already know.

Yes, I have in fact been informed of that much. I know that we play these games to gain land in an attempt to rule all and become God. What I am more interested in, is what becomes of this God after he steps down. If someone does win, which does not seem likely after what happened at the Hall of Games, where does he go? She picked at a sliver of wood, probably from one of the broken chairs, and rolled it between her fingers.

    He sat impatiently.

"My apologies..." Sariel lowered his head and crossed his arm over his chest -- a sign of respect. Good. He wouldn't be completely useless. "I am one whom would rather not kill for unnecessary reasons... Those that I have killed, I believe to be mere fodder that will barely have significance for your cause... those that I have spared have been strengthened... though if it is your wish, I shall refrain from killing."

He nodded once. All must be spared for the cause. Even the most insignificant can make the greatest of impacts. His eyes fell on Azrael who was fiddling around in his pocket. They flashed bright, then the man began his approach.

Azrael appeared nervous -- for good reason. He had been assisting Temeluchas in her endeavors. The Angel of Death was needed, but still expendable. His loyalties seemed to lie with someone else. "Here... is the shard that is currently on me." He handed it over and the Morning Star rolled the crystal in his hands.

He held it up to examine the prize. One quick peek with his golden eyes told him more than he needed. The shard was empty. No soul was contained within it. Is this some kind of joke? Do you all take me as a fool? He rose to his feet. The shard of glass turned to dust in his hand. The temperature in the room spiked and the sconces on the walls blazed brightly. Souls, trapped in the skeletal throne, wailed in agony and the Prince of Darkness took a step forward. His hand pressed against Azrael's chest, blasting him across the room. Manitos stopped writhing in pain and scrawled like the vermin she was behind the halfling. Danel's head raised about an inch. His brown eyes were filled with pain and what appeared to be terror. Never had he shown fear before. He was finally broken.

The Morning Star's foot came crashing into Danel's side. I warned you. I said no more failures and I meant it. You should know plenty well that I am not as forgiving as our Father. His eyes landed on Azrael on the other side of the room. You will bring me your 'Mistress.' You follow my command, or you will end up like our dear friend, The Angel of Judgement.

    "My Liege," he choked out.

    Enough!

At the command of his voice, there was a popping noise and a brilliant flash of light, blinding the room. When it cleared, the spot that Danel had once been occupying was empty, save for a lone feather. You are all dismissed, but let this be a lesson. I am not messing around. If you do not find the Gates, you will be joining him Manitos. Out, all of you.
