Pretty much this. Like Makaze pointed out in a thread a few weeks ago, making a suggestion thread rarely gets anything done because someone comes in and goes "No we don't do things that way, Locked" and there is no real discussion and PMing doesn't work because the staff member is like "Don't like the decision? Sucks to be you, then." I recall that thread. And I love how none of the other Staff are actually engaging, just lurking. This is what I'm talking about. Come down from your little watchmen tower and talk to us as equals.
No I mean discussions like this one. Staff tend to shy away from actually talking with us about important forum related things here in the spam zone and say "PM SOMEONE OR MAKE A SUGGESTION THREAD LOL". I'm not talking about the disrespectful banter we throw around here, though in my opinion that is an integral part of my wonderful spamzone experiences, I'm talking about the fact that everyone posts here, so it's the best place to really address issues and discuss with all of the members how we feel about things.

I just don't get why the majority of the staff seem to hate how we take to discussing everything in the spam zone. This place is the most active area of the forum, and personally I enjoy discussing issues here because we are a community and I feel community issues and such should not be one on one conversations if they are to be taken to heart. One person a community does not make.

I don't understand why they think they can change how we behave in the spam-zone, honestly. It has been like this as long as I can remember (And it's really not that bad right now) and now they've decided they want to completely reform our inner workings because 3 or 4 members overreacted and got defensive in response to our antics. It's like the US changing and requiring more spanish speaking workers to accommodate immigrants when instead the immigrants should learn English if they want to reside in the US. Why change how we've been for so long to accommodate them when they can just adapt to fit in? Bet on me if you want to win.

Honestly it made it stand out in its own way. I feel the trilogy got better with each movie, really. Each had their own great and defining points. Begins has a great origin story that had some great themes and motifs that got set up with it. Dark Knight had an amazing villain in The Joker, and Harvey's character progression is awesome. Both of those give Batman some interesting things to deal with, like Joker's input about how they'll cast him out when things settle down, plus the idea of who can truly be a hero and does one need to wear a mask to be a hero. Then Rises gives us another great villain with some great twists and a plethora of wonderful supporting characters and great action and also expands on the themes set up in the other two films.
They showed all three in a row where I went, made the third one that much better, having the others fresh in your mind.
That's actually much more plausible.
Maybe we're still in his origin story days? I saw it last night and really didn't see why he would think of you as Bane.
