My characters probably won't be taking part in the battle
It wouldn't be the first time that someone has told him that his overconfidence would be his undoing, but those people weren't demigods so the phrase was backed up by something this time oppose to other times. Not that that was going to stop Reitan in the slightest. What he did do was shrug his shoulders to what the demigod had said. "Those people aren't a concern of mine, someone else will take care of them." Least that was what he was assuming anyway. Either way, his focus was to be on Kalak and Kalak only. Reitan moved his lance from the casual position of over his shoulder to lifting it into the air, twirling it in the air a bit before stabbing it into the ground. "Not going to happen, but you're more than welcome to surrender and walk away now." Whether it be a mortal man or a demi god, Reitan would still find some way to mock them in combat. It was a habit of his. Still he most certainly was going to have to try during this fight, not that the current expression on his face showed that at all.

Lumen Pure Magic Arcane Channel Arcane Bolt Servant of the Gods (Ritual)
During his fighting, Reitan had ended up staying near the entrance to the sky tower, fighting off any hammer than had approached him. The lucky number that RNG had given him was 4 so that was how many NPC Hammer met their end against him by his mighty lance Mikazuki. Four corpses laid out around him, all both being burned to a crisp. All the while there wasn't a single scratch on Reitan. "This only further proves my point." If only his teacher hadn't died, then maybe he could get a answer as to what he meant with his words. Reitan push these thoughts to the back of his mind so that he could focus back onto the battle at hand. Just in time too for another challenger was approaching the entrance. This one looked like he be an actually challenge and not just because his image was Archer, but he was a player character. "So you're the next person to what in, well least now I can actually put in an effort." His lance was moved to on his shoulder, a fairly casual position for the situation that was about to begin, but Reitan had a plan. Well a plan for throw to not get effd up with his lance in this position. Also Kalak was the one he was referring to in the post.
A cool breeze blew through the air as and the tree branches gently waved to and fro. It was a beautiful day and on a day such as this one should do nothing but kick back, relax and enjoy the serenity. However on Astralix, even on days such as this the youth were still hard at work. Training for any such event where they would be needed to fight. However there was one person who was actually doing what one would expect on a day such as this and that person's name was Lumen. Right now Lumen was currently laying down on a bench, eyes closed as the gentle breeze blew by. It must've been an odd sight, seeing someone as dressed as formal as he was laying down on a bench without a care in the world. Fortunately Lumen wasn't one to care about small things. Of course he also wasn't much was doing things that he wasn't feeling and today, he wasn't feeling like training like everyone else. Man, this is going to suck when I get caught. The thought ran through his head as he moved himself til he was sitting up. Eventually they took notice to his absence during training and sent someone after him and, regardless of him hiding or now, they found him and brought him back to the training ground. Where he was subjected to a stricter training program than the others. Most people assumed it was due to his absence that he was given that treatment, but the reality was it was because of his ancestors. Legendary warriors, strategists, etc, basically anything that would be deserving of a lot of praise was in his blood. Lumen did mind that, in fact he found it pretty cool. What he did mind was the fact that they were basically forcing him to be like them. If he did want to be like them, then he would do it on his own time. Oh well, he's complained about this numerous times and it didn't change again. Might as well enjoy this 'break' while he could. Thus, he went back to laying down and actually decided to take a nap while he was at it.

Zephyr too remained silent while Operator gave them a motivation speech of sorts. While he had said that they were all allies, Zephyr didn't really see them that way. Most of them he didn't know and had no opinions on and some he had a slightly less than neutral opinion on and then there was that one guy in the gray area of neutrality. Though he may not have seen them as his allies, he had no reason at all to hinder any of them since they wanted the same thing for the most part. To reach the top of the tower. No matter, the next fight was before them and Zephyr headed through the door leading to the next floor.
Gale was a bit confused by what Karen had whispered to him as she walked into the building Veera was in. The only thing they heard was a whistle and he still wasn't sure what was the deal with that. Unless she was referring to Kala lying about the whistle, in which case made a bit more sense. "Didn't you heard a whistle though?" Gale asked. While waiting for an answer, he heard what Flame had about what the deal that she'd made to have Drake and Veera be released. Admittedly he wasn't all too fond of having to help out the ones who had captured them in the first place, but there wasn't much that could be done about that now. They simply just had to comply. While they had managed to find the one that they were looking for, Veera wasn't in the best of shape right now. Sure was a good thing that they had brought Karen along otherwise things might've been a bit more difficult. Especially given that they were going to ave to clear the outer section of titans. Hopefully that wouldn't end badly for them. "Anyone now where the King went off to?"
Just like that things had gone from bad to worse. Someone had just grabbed Sara and ran further into the alley. Of course he wasn't going to just sit around and do nothing, but he wasn't exactly well equipped for a fight, especially against someone who looked like an assassin. He needed some help and the first person that came to mind was Terra, but he couldn't go after Sara and get Terra at the same time. What he needed was a way to be in two places at the same time. Fortunately he did have a way of doing just that. He took a moment to make sure that no one was around to see him. "Come out, Byakko." Using his Spirit Channeling ability, he summoned the white tiger into the alley. "Follow them, I'll get some more help." The spirit nodded at Zephyr's command before heading down the alley, fitting just find through it. That left Zephyr to head back into the Orphanage and to Terra's room. "Someone grabbed Sara while she was out!" Other than his intentionally leaving out how Sara ran away from him shortly after getting aside, there was something Zephyr forgot to take into account. How would she react to the fact he was here instead of going to after Sara, least from her perspective anyway.
Even if Ander hadn't said anything, Zephyr probably would've used Fire Surge since it was the only other fire attack that he had at his disposal. That aside Zephyr couldn't help to feel that there was something more the the Fire God Slayer spell that he used. Like he could briefly power it up. Whatever it was he was thinking of, he would have to test it out later. For now he went and used Fire Surge on the tree monsters. Letting out a cry of distress after telling someone that you're okay isn't the best way to convince said person that you really are okay. Healing yourself right for the person to see, now that was a solid method of showing that you could at least handle yourself. Seeing as how Silvia had managed to get back on her feet after healing herself, she must've been fine so Alisa decided change the topic to something else. Like introductions. "I'm Alisa by the way."

Gale wasn't surprised by the fact that Karen had questioned his choice to follow the flare. After all he was basing this entirely off a hunch and with the current situation at hand, there wasn't a whole lot of time that could be used to second guess himself. "I may not know where they got the flare assuming that it is Drake and Veera who fired it, but there's still a chance that it was them and I'll take it." Having said that, Gale continued in the general direction of the flare. It had already vanished in the night sky, thus leaving them with a general guess as to where it was. At this point they were nearing the middle of the city as a building could be seen in the distance. Was this where the flare was fired off from? There was something else that he wondered as they got closer to the building. At the distance they were current;y at, he could make out there being two figures in front of the building, but he didn't recognize them just yet. The closer they got thought the figures became clearer and clearer until it was pretty obvious as to who they were. It was Drake and Flame who were standing in front of the building. As greats as a sight as that was, Drake looked to be worse for wear as he was injured a bit. As for Flame, well he wasn't even sure when she's gotten here but least nothing had happened to her. "Drake are you okay? Where's Veera?" Those were the first two things that Gale could think to ask.
Having decided to put the thoughts on what he'd heard on hold for the time being, he went back to doing one of the few things that he actually could do. Zephyr started to look around and took note of what was going on around him. Nothing much to note though, just people talking. That said, by the time he'd decided to do this, Operator had already ran from Alexis, so all he saw was his bumping into Remy and flicking away. Okay, so other than that nothing much other than people talking. Then some random guy had just appeared from a portal made of darkness. This brought about another sigh. It was just one thing about another. After that run of looking around the room Zephyr returned his gaze to just staring off in front of him, simply waiting like he was prior to following Operator up the stairs.

There he found himself a place to sit by himself as he started to put together what he had over heard. According to those voices he heard, someone wants them dead before a certain floor, except for Operator. That one was of the things he was curious about, just what made him special compared to the rest of them. Figuring this out was going to take some time without having anything to go off of other than what he overheard and since chances were the Operator wasn't going to be all that helpful, least to him, in getting answers. He was just going to have to get them himself. The problem with that was he had no idea where to start looking.

Whatever it was it didn't matter for the group had chosen to advance through the forest towards their next destination. A decision that had lead to their three guides and Ezekiel falling off a cliff and into a swamp before. Hopefully the fall didn't damage them, but with the appearance of the tree monster they kinda had more important matters to attend to. "Hey Virgo." He knew Virgo had expressed a desire for him to become a Celestial Spirit Mage, but least she was in the hands of someone he trusted. Seeing just about everyone break out their new magic, Zephyr decided to do the same. His fist became engulfed in black flames as he charged towards the tree monster. "Flame God's Shattering Fist!" Zephyr aimed his flame covered fist at what he assumed to be the face of the tree monster. Alisa gave the fairy whose name MoK can't remember a nod before holding out her hands towards the ground. Doing this focused her gravity magic around her and only her for the time being. Next Alisa reversed enough of the gravity around her so that she would float up towards the flower, making sure to return the gravity around her back to normal once she was over the flower. "Are you okay?" Alisa asked Silvia. "Basically what Thomas asked and any more information on them would probably be helpful too." Veilen said. Beyond that there wasn't much that he could think to ask for the time being. So the mage just waited til those questions had gotten answers before moving on.
Well shit, literally seconds after stepping foot outside, Sara ran around to the corner of the building. Evidently she wanted a bit more than fresh air. No matter, Zephyr didn't waste much time in going after the little girl. He'd started to turn the same corner that she did when he heard a voice down the alley. It wasn't a voice that he recognized and he was positive that Sara had gone this way. Zephyr then decided to take a quick peek to see just whose voice he'd heard. He certainly didn't see Sara, but he did see some random lady with what looked to be weapons in her hands. This brought about some questions, but for now Zephyr decided to watch from where he was hiding for the time being.
Hearing someone else's voice, Gale looked to seeing that both Akari and Hunter had landed. While Akari was silent for the most part, Hunter had said something about being able to take down more titans than anyone else. "This isn't the time nor the place to be playing a stupid game, let's just focus on getting Drake and Veera back." Gale said, hoping that that would be enough to put Hunter's mind back on tr-wait this is Hunter. So instead he hoped for the best. The group had continued forward when the green flare flew into the sky. At first Gale wasn't sure as to why a flare had been shot up, but when Karen mentioned people in the city wanting to be noticed, he started to get a hunch as to what the flare was. What if Drake or Veera had shot up the flare? He wasn't sure how they'd managed that or even if it was correct, but it was the only clue they had right now."Everyone, we're heading towards that flare." Pointing towards the flare while it was still in the air, Gale headed off in that direction. Hoping that his hunch was right.
The first thing that Lumen did upon entering the dinning hall was to find himself a place to sit, then he started to look around at everything that was set up for them. It was quite impressive just how much had been set up for this, but it was the first meeting of the Adventurers Society after all. So going all out for this occasion was quite understandable. Since Lumen's attention was being focused on looking around at everything that was set up, he didn't notice Anthea when she had first poured his tea. Thus when he saw the cup of tea in front of him, he was a bit confused as to where it came from. That was when he noticed Anthea pouring tea into someone else's cup. While he was grateful, he found her doing so odd since he thought that she too was hear to be a part of the society like the rest of them. Either way, planned on thanking her once she was doing talking to the person she was speaking with now. For now he casually took a sip of the tea as he thought about what to snack on first.
