"I just came to look around." Lumen said. He looked at each weapon, giving each one some attention before his eyes landed on the longsword. The fact that it was magical certainly did catch his attention. Another thing that caught his attention was someone calling out his name. He turned to see that Alice had caught up to him and was out of breath. "You okay there?"
While Tatiana looked at her wound, Kruez sat down in one of the chairs that was already there for them. "Like I said, I was bored and had nothing better to do. I saved you because you were basically helpless. If you could've handled things on you own, then I probably would've let you handle it then. Lastly I did do it because I was hoping for some kind of reward." Kruez explained. All of which was done without looking at Tatiana. "I suppose there is, but that would require the assistance of a mage willing to speed up the healing process." Sweallow explained. Curious as to why she couldn't stay in one place for long, he decided to question Terra about. "Why is it that you can't stay in one area for long?" Tired and cold, Zephyr remained out like a light as his body slowly attempted to restore his natural body heat. This was the closet thing to rest that he would get and the chance was taken...despite the like threatening situation he was still in. It wasn't long before he started showing signs of waking up. First a low groan, then his moving around a bit before finally Zephyr sat up. He didn't recognize where he was outside it being an inn. "Where am I?"
"Kill me? Alright, I want you to remember that." Kruez replied, scoffing at first. That scoff was followed by him chuckling a bit to himself. Kruez held out his index finger and traced in the air the numeral 0. "Your endless journey has come to an end, come forth Fool!" As Kruez opened his hand, a bright light appeared and started to take the form of a gun. Now one could question would anyone know what a gun was in this universe, but that's a bridge to be crossed later. For moment after the gun had fully formed, two shots were fired from the weapon. One landing in the goons foot while the other ended up in his lower leg. "And this is why you don't threaten strangers. Now sit right there while I handle your friend." Kruez's faze turned towards the other one, who already had his sword drawn ready to fight. Instead of saying something smart or taunting the man, he simply took a step forward. That one step prompted the man to take one step back. Kruez took another step forward and the man took another one back. This little game of their's went on until the brute found himself with his back against the wall. Now with nowhere left to go, the brute resorted to actually using the weapon that he had with him. While it may have been a bit late to not let the mage get to him, it certainly wasn't to late for him to try and fight back. To that end, he swung the blade in an attempt to catch Kruez's head. The mage retaliated by ducking under the sword, during which Kruez fired off two bullet into the man's gut. Just before he could make another swing, the pain from being shot in the gut caught up to him and brought him down to his knees. Blood started to seep out of the wound, followed by the man falling on his side. The man had a chance to survive if he could get to help, but he wasn't going anywhere anytime soon nor was his partner. But just to be certain of that, Kruez shot the man in the leg. Now all that was left was to get Tatiana out of here. Kruez made his way over to her and removed her bindings and gag. "You should probably get your brother or someone to teach you how to defend yourself." He then tossed his cloak over her as to give her some way of covering herself. Seeing as how she wasn't in the best condition to walk, he helped her onto her feet and walked her towards wherever would be a good place for magick to timeskip the from. Sweallow chuckled a bit to her response. If she could make responses like that, then she must have been feeling better then yesterday. He placed his hand to his chin as he thought about when an full heal should be expected. "You should be able to move without too much pain in your back in a few days, as for a full recovery. That should take up to a week." With all the running that Zephyr had been doing, it was somewhat impressive that he hadn't fallen over due to exhaustion. he was nearing that situation though, he burning of his legs could only be ignored for so long before his body made the decision that his brain didn't agree with. Zephyr had just ran past the city gate, but paid no attention the the guards that were there nor the man who was throwing rocks near the river. Though hopefully the man noticed him, for that was when he legs gave out and Zephyr fell into the river.
Luck would be on Terra's side for Sweallow had not heard of her and simply nodded when she gave her name. "Pleasure to meet you Terra, you may call me Sweallow. Sweallow Cauther." As far as he was aware, there was no special reason behind his naming, not that that matter at all. "Is your back feeling any better?" Having just treated it, he doubted that it would be perfectly fine in a single day, however if there was any slight pain or anything along those lines, then he'd like to know so that he could treat it. "Yes, I can clearly see that you're doing something. I'm not blind." Kruez said nonchalantly. The other man started to approach him, talking about the apparent bounty that Tatiana was worth. Kruez didn't know that, though he wasn't even certain whether or not Tatiana had mentioned that and he just wasn't paying any attention at all. Oh well, bounty or no bounty. It matter little to him. Shortly after being asked about the bounty, the other man walked back to Tatiana and cut free her dress from around her body. "Yeah, I'm kinda going to have to interrupt your 'fun' if you don't mind. Not that your caring would affect anything." Once again said in a nonchalant manner, though this time with a hint of bluntness, Kruez start to walk towards the two brutes.
After boarding the ship, Reitan didn't do a whole lot. Part of him still wanted to fight against that demi god, it had been whole since he'd been up against an opponent like that. Not strictly referring to a demi god, but more so someone to cause him to have to think about his next actions and how to proceed during a fight. Fortunately they were on the opposite sides of this war and thus the odds of the facing again were quite good, he needed to wait til then. With his lance placed on his back, Reitan started to walk around the ship toward the nearest room. In that room he found some girl he didn't know. Said girl was also tied up so that was also something to take note of. "So, who are you?" Reitan questioned.
It should be no surprise that Lumen has gotten the best sleep out of anyone on this mission so it made sense that he was a bit dishearten when he actually had to get up. He'd reach the pinnacle of comfort, a state no man has ever reached before. Leaving this state now would be madness. Which is why instead of getting up right away he took a few more moments to soak in all the comfort, embrace it, savor it while he could. When Laurentius had spoken to him, he'd accomplished his goal of enjoying pinnacle of comfort. Having done that, he slowly made his way out of bed. Just because he enjoyed the comfort for a bit longer didn't changed how he didn't want to get out of bed. Regardless of that he did and made sure to grab the bag of coins and headed out. Now as for where he went, hmm he decide to go to the blacksmith cause why not.
Despite still being unsure as to what to do in regards to the whole situation that he was now in, seeing the mob of people approaching was more than enough reason for him to follow being Veera. Entering the courtyard behind Veera, he sighed before answering her question. "No, I'm more of a wanderer. One who just got here I might add."
Having left Pandemonium Sieg traveled across the rooftops away from the area. He was curious as to what had happened there and while he did, he held no desire to ask other people. The silence that came with being alone was something he'd gotten used to. Not that he had much of a choice. It was either get used to it or quite possibly go insane and since he clearly still had his sanity, the choice he made was clear. He had gotten past a couple of buildings before he heard the sound of a scream. Not so much a scream of terror or pain, but more of one out of aggression. Still it was enough to grabbed his attention. Sieg looked down the alley and saw four people. One of which must've been a warlock due to the animal like feature they had. The jury was still out on the other three. Excluding the one that was currently on her back, the other one seemed to have a handle on the situation. Maybe if things started to take a turn for the worst he'd intervene, for now though he'd spectate.
Lumen went to sleep in his own bed, with blackjack and hookers.
Gale wasn't wasting anytime in taking down the titans. He'd started off with a small group of them, four to be exact and had managed to take out two of them before Flame came by and assisted him with the other two. For a brief moment he was in the clear of titans, but the thunderous footsteps soon proved otherwise. Another group of titans had appeared, this time their numbers were seven. A number that would be difficult for Gale to deal with on his own. That wasn't going to stop him from trying. He exchanged his worn blades for a new set and dashed off towards the group of titans. What Gale had thought was that the titan in front him were his only threat, but this tunnel vision had caused him to miss the titan to his left that grabbed onto his his chord. Being caught off guard by the sudden tug, Gale was tossed against a nearby wall. A sharp pain ran throughout his back as his now blurred vision eventually went back into focus. His brain didn't register the hand reaching out to him until it was a few feet away from him. At this point there was little chance that he could get away on his own. Dammit, once again his own tunnel vision had costed him. First the life of his friend and now his own life. In this moment of acceptance, Gale once waited for his fate when he heard a pain cry sound from the titan. Now unfortunately for Chrono he wasn't able to kill any titans right off the bat for Flame had killed just about every titan he'd seen before he could even do something. This went on until Chrono eventually separated from Flame in hopes of finding someone else to help and as luck would have it, he did. Surprisingly enough he saw Gale in quite the situation, which made sense when he saw the eight titans around him. Tightening the grip on his weapons, he headed towards that titans that was reaching towards Gale and swiftly slashed at it's nape. While the titan collapsed onto the ground, dead, Chrono went to give Gale a hand up. "Think we can handle the rest of them?" Chrono questioned. Sure he was a part of the scouting legion, but fighting this many titans was something out of his expertise. "We won't know unless we try." That was the simple response that Gale had given Chrono. They were certainly going to try, that much was for certain.
Now unlike Teliana, Zephyr wasn't all that knowledgeable on Witch Hunter, so he wasn't all that certain as to why she said that they would be in trouble. Well other than them being in cages. That was kinda a give away that they were here for tea and crumpets or whatever you want to call it. Hearing Bryce mention the skeleton using mage caught his interest, but he kept this to himself. Just what did they want with him? Then Teliana spoke, also mentioning the skeleton mage. She too apparently knew something about him and was willing to give up that information for his release. Zephyr wanted to know more about the mage too, but he didn't want anyone sacrifices themselves for him to get said information. The next sequence of events happens in a bit of a blur for Zephyr. One of the men that had arrived along with Milosh had walked into the cage that he was in and placed a pair of shackles on him. It didn't take long for him to feel the shackles limiting his magical ability to the point where he couldn't use them the way he wanted to. This certainly would make things problematic for him if not for a certain thing. Teliana had caused an explosion that had cause the perfect diversion. Part of him hated the fact that once again someone was risking their own lives for his own sake, but he wouldn't be able to return the favor if they both got caught. So he ran. Ran as far and as fast as he could. Kruez didn't even know that Tatiana had looked towards him during Vyle's freak out. Partly because of his lack of attention towards the whole this as well as it wasn't long before he simply just walked out and started wandering about. It'd taken long enough (and totally isn't Mok's fault) for him to get bored and thus started to do what he did best. Walk around til he found something til he found something else of interest. He'd taken a few steps away from where he left where he saw something out of the corner of his eyes. That something was Tatiana being dragged into an alley. This sight cause him to sigh. Part of him really wished that it was Derrick instead of her. That way he could at least pretend that he didn't see anything and keep to himself. Hell if Tatiana could actually handle things on her own he probably would do the same. But alas she couldn't, thus our current situation. "Ah fuck it." Having said that, he headed into the alley. "So a buff guy, a defenseless girl and a dark alley, I'm guessing you lack originality then." Sweallow was in the middle of looking through some notes when he heard his guest speak. He pressed his hand down on the page he had stopped on and turned his attention towards her. "Think nothing of it, I just did what I felt was right at the time." Despite being a Doppler, Sweallow thought differently from the more trouble causing dopplers. For example he'd chosen to study in the field of medicine so that he'd be able to help other should the situation arise, much like he running into the woman he was currently speaking with. "You don't need to pay me back, but I would like to know your name."
Zephyr had remained silent as they walked towards Lu's home. The silence wasn't out of trying to figure out just what was going on, but instead it was simply because he had nothing to say at the moment. Now for when they had arrived out her house, the first thing that came to mind was "Well then, not expecting this." Sure Lu did say that her family could shift like Johanna, but Zephyr had expected them to look human, not a mixture of human and animal. After the siblings had introduced themselves, Antonio spoke about taking them back to civilization in order to find out more about them. Now their being against the idea aside, couldn't one do the same thing while leaving them where they were? "Maybe we should give them some time to think about it before setting off, besides there's still the original reason we came here."
Veilen didn't move an inch as Veera poked him in the cheek with her sword. Fortunately she didn't break the skin when she did, but it still was a bit of an annoyance to feel it pressing against him. Veilen gently rubbed his cheek when he heard Veera mention something about a riot. He'd just gotten here a solid two posts again and there was a riot going on, just what had happened prior to his getting here. "Riot? What riot?" Veilen asked, following behind Veera.
Blue Flame Armament Clarent
Zephyr remained silent as sun's rays started to reach his face. Having spent a night had calmed him down somewhat. He was still annoyed at the situation he was in, but he wasn't gung ho about beating someone ass. Granted that could change depending on how the day went. Taking into account that he had been kidnapped and stuffed into a cage, it was still entirely possible that he'd punch someone in the face before the day was out. "Who are you?" Not expecting there to be anyone else around him, Zephyr turned his head to the side and saw the other person. "Zephyr and I don't know why we're here." He wasn't told a whole lot as to why there were here and thus had nothing to share. Which sucks given that there was little way of knowing what this was was leading to. One time skip to the next day later and Sweallow had successfully managed to bring Terra back to his residence and treat her stab wounds. With his skills in medical treatment (that totally wasn't BS'd) he's been able to treat her with ease. Now she rested n the guest cot. Kruez continued to follow behind Tatiana and Derrick, not much else for him to do.
Spoiler: Presenting another Zephyr banner, this time with a different image (Credit goes to X E R O for the image) Fortunately it didn't take as much effort to convince Lu not to attack them with her spear, nor her crocodiles. When she answered his questioned, stating that the only ones on this island were her friends and family, Zephyr glanced at the crocodiles. "So are those your friends then?" he was tempted to ask if they were her family, but that seemed a bit stereotypical to him. And then came the animals that she was apparently raised by. Alright then, quite the family she has then. Zephyr followed Lu's finger up towards the mountain. "I assume being up there offers some form of protection." Zephyr taking, taking a sheer guess at that. Veilen used Aerial
The stars were out in the night sky as Sieg sat on the edge on one of the many buildings that made part of the city. The lack of clouds made this a perfect night for the warlock to do his usually bit of star gazing. Other than that he wasn't really doing much to note. Most night when he was bored he would just star at the skies until he decided to leave. The building he'd chosen to sit on overlooked Pandemonium, a place in which he usually wasn't interested in what had happened there. This night would prove to be different though. There was quite the scene going on at Pandemonium right now. Sieg may not have known the full details about it, or any details about ti for that matter, but from the looks of things something had occurred here. Whatever that something was it had caught his interest and given him something else to observe for the time being. The first thing that he decided to observe were the too people who happened to be standing outside. Maybe that would say or do something that would give him some more insight. (More may be edited later, depends on if I remember or not)
It wasn't all that surprising that the trip to Oxenfurt was quiet as hell, since it wasn't exactly the most chatty group that was doing the traveling. A vampire had appeared at some point, but Kreuz didn't really pay much attention to what was being said between him and Derrick. All he got was that he was looking for some mage named Solomon, beyond that that didn't matter to him. Arriving in Oxenfurt, Kruez did the one thing that he could think of doing while Derrick looked for whoever it was that he was trying to find and that was buy something to drink. So the mage walked up to the bar and did just that. Needless to say (much to MoK's enjoyment) Zephyr was in a fowl mood. Not because he was left alone in the alley after Terra had fled, but at the fact that there was absolutely nothing he could've done to stop it. Zephyr hated being unable to do anything, being helpless. It was too close to how he felt back home where just about everyone was shunning him. Byakko soon vanished and he was the last person in the alley. "Dammit, still can't do shit." It was clear that he was beating himself up pretty harshly over this. Zephyr had taken a few steps out of the alley when he heard someone's voice. Well he wasn't in the mood to be dealing with other people, so he ignored the voice and continued walking in the opposite direction. Having felt something going around his neck, Zephyr was going to show whoever it was why it was a bad idea to mess with him while he's pissed, but some sort of cloth was placed over his nose and mouth. One surprised breath was all it took for him to start to feel weak, followed by his vision blurring. Soon afterward after went black for the young mage as he collapsed. When he came too he found himself in a cage, ankles chained to the ground with someone else on the other side of the cage. Well this certainly wasn't helping with his mood. "I take it you're the one who put me here." Zephyr said with some clear hostility in his voice. Still walking through WhiteOrchid, cause I'm pretty sure that's where i had placed him, Sweallow walked along the streets minding his own business. Least until a growing pool of blood and the source of said pool. An injured woman laid in the middle of the streets, bleeding out. It certainly was good for her that he had found her, though he didn't really have any means to treat to her wounds right now. He probably had something back at his home, but he needed to get her there before he could use them. Judging form the amount she was losing blood, there wasn't much time for him to waste. Moving as fast and as carefully as he could, Sweallow picked up the bleeding mage and carried her off to his home for treatment.
"That's fine by me." Gale followed behind Tessa as they moved to rejoin the others, there they saw *insert the appropriate number of titans here* roaming the bottom area. Well depending on just how many titans where there (which depends on how large the appropriate number of people are) this could be a difficult thing to do alone. Sure was a good thing that there was a fair number of them who could handle themselves. Oh, before I forget, Gale went to wherever Tessa had landed cause he did say that she could stick close to him.
For the carriage ride towards their destination and for the start of the fight against the giant spiders Lumen was asleep in the carriage. Nothing surprising, least for him anyway. He could fall asleep just about anywhere if he felt like it, least as long as there wasn't anything to interrupt him at least. That being said, sounds of battle going on outside the carriage counted as an interruption. The sounds of battle succeeded in waking the sleeping Lumen, who drowsily walked out the door wondering where all the noise was coming from. Needless to say, he was surprised to see the giant spiders that were around them. Well Conrad anyway, the others seemed to have a solid one spider surrounded. He drew his long sword and stepped fully out the carriage. With the power of his arcane magic, he fired an attack towards one of the spiders attacking Conrad.
