"Rest assured, I may be a curious guy, but I have no plans of ending up a corpse for you to find." Sien said, returning a smile to Alarick's face. His eyes glanced over to Nick upon hearing that he'd be taking his place in the apprehension of Masque. "And what exactly was his role?" Knowing that bit of information would be helpful if he was going to successfully fill the role. They were going to be against a serial killer, probably the one who'd cause all that fuss at Pandemonium. This wasn't something to be taken lightly. "I know you do." Sien replied. Having said his peace, he followed behind the others towards Masque's supposed hideout.
She did have a point, it was courteous to take care of those you sheltered, but there was a limit to how courtesy that you could be. Especially if the one you sheltered is being a nuisance. It was pretty clear that her heart was in the right place with her actions, she just didn't realize that she didn't need to put up with this mistreatment. "If it's taking advantage of your kindness, it'll be perfectly fair if you don't go back." Lumen started, before placing his had to his chin. Now where was she supposed to go. She could always stay here, but that might go better if he was still here to explain her circumstances which he couldn't do since he was planning on helping Kala find her friend and he had no idea where they last saw each other. It might just be easier if she tagged along with them. "You could tag along with us." Lumen said, having decided on the course of action. Of course this kinda required some input from Kala, which is why he threw a glance her way to see what she had to say.
Not to long after Zack had gone off to handle other matter, a scream could be heard from where Ana was supposedly being treated. Was this a part of the methods that there were using to treat her? Or had something gone wrong? Regardless, Zephyr quickly headed off towards where Ana was. When he got there, he wasn't expecting to see Ana up on her feet. That was a good thing, now the fact that she was fending off the people trying to help her, that was more questionable. Surely there must've been some reason for it. "Easy there Ana, they're just trying to help you." Hopefully thus would calm her down to some extent, then maybe he could try to figure out what was wrong. Kruez had continued walking, still unsure where he was going or where they were, when Tatiana had spoke once again. This time she had wanted to be put down so that she could walk for herself. A simple request, thus pretty damn easy to grant. So Kruez did just just and placed her down onto her feet. "Better?"
"I don't mind, this was your kitchen first after all." Chrono replied with a slight chuckle. Answering both her offer of joining them for breakfast as well as letting Adelina use her kitchen. He simply stepped out of the way so that Adelina could do what she needed. As for what she needed, that he had no clue. "He might shi]t his pants if he saw mine, though it's not something I can use in enclosed areas." Damion chimed in. Out of the three, his powers were probably the most noticeable. He would saw flashy, but that department might actually go to Koldo. It depends on how you decide to look at things. With the dicussion currently being on what they wanted as a reward, Damion was silent at first for he didn't quite know just want he wanted himself. It was easier for him to let the others talk it out while he tried to figure out for him. Gale was glad that their watch had gone over without anything happening, though other than assisting Veera there wasn't much else that he did. With them being dismissed, Gale decided to go get something to eat and headed toward Adelina/Chrono/Zack (I guess)'s kitchen.
Before Lumen could much on how Kala had grabbed the girl, her face was revealed as well as the various sorts of injuries that it bore. The sight had left him speechless at first for it wasn't at all what he was expecting to see upon seeing her face. He did get the feeling that she was injured because of how she was walking, but nothing to this extent. Before she could get very far, the next person to stop her was Lumen by grabbing her wrist. "Look, I may not know where you came from and all that, but maybe you shouldn't go back. Least not til you've healed a bit." Lumen really didn't know just what he was getting in thw way with, but he did know that this "punishment" didn't sound like something that should happen. Especially given all of the bruises she has now.
Having arrived at the meeting place that it had been changed to, the first thing that Sien did was to look around to see if he could find Alarick. Not seeing him in the immediate area in which he had arrived in, Sien did the smart thing to do and started to walk around. After taking a couple of steps forward, he did manage to see Alarick. He then went to approach him before speaking. "So this is where you changed the meeting place to."
Zephyr wasn't expecting anyone to approach him, let alone ask him about where Ana was. Yet here someone was, doing just that. Though Zephyr did recall seeing the man before him when he ran into Ana once more, though he didn't really pay him much attention due to much more pressing matters at the moment. Still using his thumb, Zephyr pointed in the direction that the two dopplers had carried her off in. "Last I saw she was taken that way for medical treatment."
With all the commotion going on, it was kinda hard for someone to get some sleep, thus Zephyr being awake now. He was still somewhat tired, hence the yawn the first thing to come out of his mouth. Fortunately he didn't managed to hear everything that was said, as well keep it in his head as oppose to going in one ear and out the other. The main thing that he noticed was that they weren't all to fond of SMRF, hence to aggression Lu was showing. "Before anyone does anything hasty, what exactly has SMRF done here. Cause we know nothing about them or why they're here."
Zephyr walked through the forest with Ana on his back till he came across a camp in the distance. Perfect, maybe something there could help Ana as well as treat his arms. His steps sped up slightly as he tried to close the gap between himself and the gate, until he reached the point where the two "guards" had their spears pointed right at him. "Stand down." The voice was heard clearly and the two "guards" in front of him removed their spears from in front of him. Zephyr was relieved to see that it was Zack who had ordered them to stand down. Fortunately Zephyr wasn't injured on his back, otherwise Zack clapping him might've actually hurt, but it didn't so there was no reason for concern. "Don't write me off just yet, I'll been through enough hell as of recently." It's pretty much been one bad thing after another ever since that necromancer showed up at the orphanage. Speaking of which, Ana said she knew something about him. Just what exactly did she know? Since he couldn't just as her now, he would just have to take Zack up on his offer of rest. "It's fine, you're offering to house and take care of us while we're here. That's repayment enough."

It was a special enhanced version of the Spyrix gene that had severe effects against his body, turning him into a mutant. Due to the rage he was experiencing during his transformation, hid mind was lost and the only thing that was left of him was a beast, hungry for anything and everything.
Sieg was on his way to the Institute before he felt his phone vibrate. Checking to see who had messaged him. It was Aladrick again, this time letting him know that their meeting place had changed. Fortunately he also sent him the location of where it was. "Hmm, it's not all that far away from where I am now. Best not keep him waiting." Instead of the casual walk he had started off with, Seig had started jogging towards his new destination.
"I get that your checking up on me to make sure that I don't mess up anything, but I can handle this much." Chrono said. It had been an interesting 2 years for Chrono. After Flame has presumably gotten more situated with her status of being the queen, he'd paid her a visit to see if she knew/had any information regarding his parents. Something he was originally going the the king before his unfortunate passing. Flame didn't have a direct answer for him, but she did show him the records in which he might find what he was looking for. It was probably as good of an answer as he was going to get, so he started to look through the various records for anything that stuck out to him. Chrono wasn't quite sure how long it was before he found the record he'd end up going through, but he did remember seeing both an image of what was both his parents as well as their names, Zekiel and Mari, under the it. Further reading the article, he learn that not only did his mother learn about the adviser's plot to usurp the throne, but she, along with his father, were inevitably killed because of it. The realization had left a mixture emotions swirling about within Chrono. sadness that his parents actually were dead, anger at the adviser who'd killed them, regret that the adviser had already been punished before he was aware of all this and lastly relief that he finally new the truth. Having learned what he came here for, he put the record back where he got it from, gave Flame his thanks and left, fighting back tears the whole time. Now he was currently helping out in the kitchen, serving as a kinda assistant to Adelina while he handled her kids. Though she did spent a lot of time in the kitchen with her kids than just with her kids. "I'm making progress, it's not as hard as I thought it'd be."
As Lumen waited for a response from Kala, he got the feeling that something was about to happen. Like a running gag was slowly being formed and he was at the very center of said gag. Whether it was connected to the odd feeling or not was unknown, but something else had fallen out of nowhere and landed right on top of Lumen. "I'm okay." That was all Lumen had to say at first becuase he was just as confused as the explanation the girl had given him. He'd gotten back onto his feet shortly after being healed by the girl. "You're not really interrupting anything." Least he didn't think she was,Kala hadn't answered his question yet so all they were doing right now was just standing around. Seeing how the girl walked away was a bit concerning for him. "Are you okay?" Maybe she should've heal herself as opposed to healing him.
Zephyr was still lamenting over his failure to make a portal to hear just what Ana had said clearly. However when she had shoved him through the portal that she'd made for them to escape the area. Realizing this, he looked towards her to see that she was now slumped on the ground. Making that portal must've taken the rest of her strength out of her. In an attempt to get on his feet, Zephyr had placed unneeded pressure onto his injured arm, resulting in a sharp pain. He needed to do something about this wound, least temporarily anyway. Fortunately his sleeve was ripped around where the wound, thus he went ahead and ripped that sleeve off and wrapped it around the injury (something that wasn't exactly easy to do with just one hand). When that was taken care of, Zephyr did a quick test to see how much movability his arm had. He moved his arm to the left, the right, up and down before concluding his test. He was able to bend his arm slightly but not alot. Fortunately be was able to bend it enough to be able to pick Ana up. As carefully as he could, he crouched down, moved Ana so that he was resting on his back before standing up and heading off in some random direction (towards the camp).

BACKSTORY For the first 12 years for Sailus life thing were pretty normal all things considering. Though despite just how normal it was, there were still issue within the home, namely with the expectation his parents had set for him. They had wanted him to do thing that were pretty much impossible for anyone, let alone a 12-year-old boy. They were like that for his entire life, though he tried his best to put up with it. His turning 13 was when they finally gave up on him meeting their ridiculously expectations and pretty much kicked him out. For some this probably would’ve been their end if they were in the same situation. No other relative to turn to nor shelter. For Sailus though, he was lucky for his Spyrix abilities had awoken. The ability to manipulate flames, preexisting flames, but flame none the less. It didn’t matter how small the flame was, he could make it large enough to keep him warm during the night. Eventually he found his way to abandon warehouse in which he slowly turned into his new home. Which was fortunate for there were still plenty of machines left behind that were even in working conditions. Which allowed him to mess around with them when he wasn’t out looking for something to eat or materials.

One aforementioned carriage ride to the cave later, Lumen was standing at the mouth of the cave. "So are we going to stand here waiting or are we going to venture in?" Lumen questioned. It wasn't out of anticipation or excitement or something along those lines. He just didn't see the point of standing out here.
With it basically being agreed upon that he would help her find her friend, Lumen did the most fitting thing in this situation. That was to take Kala's hand and shake it. "Do you know where the last place you saw your friend at?" If they were going to start anywhere, that should be a good place to start.
Lumen and Alice hadn't even gotten that far before a carraige had stopped in front of them. Shyra was the one in said carriage and the first thing she did was to ask if he knew were the others were. First he shook his head, for he didn't know where most of the others were, then he motioned towards Alice. "Alice said she saw Conrad and Tessa with some spider guy on a giant spider." As for Kara and Laurentinus , he had no idea what so ever on where they were.
"Meet me at the Institute. Quid pro quo." Sieg read the message that had appear on his phone. "The Institute huh." It wasn't a place that he often went to unless he had business there. Fortunately he still remembered the way there despite the distance between his last visit and now. The mage proceeded to close his phone and place it back into his pocket. Now he headed started to make his way off the building and towards the institute.
