Listening in to what was being said, one key thing stuck out to him the most. The fact that all of the competitors excluding Ze Operator were supposed to be killed. So when he had heard someone whisper into his ear, he turned towards the girl and replied. "All the more reason for us to win." All of which before Ze Operator had decided to notice them. By the time he'd gone an addressed Zephyr, he had his index finger up to his lips in the traditional shushing position. Zephyr was much less concerned with the fact that Ze Operator knew he was there and more with the fact they someone wanted most of them dead. Unfortunately the voices had heard one of them, probably Ze Operator, and someone was now going to investigate. So much was gathering more information. Fortunately they had managed to avoid being spotted due to Ze Operator closing, so when the mountain of a man had gone back into room Zephyr looked towards Ze Operator. "So you going to keep us filled in on what their discussing or what?" Zephyr asked in a hush tone, though he wasn't sure if the tone was needed due to the sound proof door.
1 point into Zephyr's Ignis Katana, 1 point into Kamaitachi Summon and 1 point into Pyrokinetic Combat
Spending one point in stamina and one in willpower. Would spend some crowns but price increases are a thing. And since someone should, I guess I'll equip Tribute as well.
With the teams having been decided, the first thing that Kel took notice was how unique of a team it was. Three members he had actually been on a team with before so he knew how they fought for the most part. There there was D'daear who Kel has had very little experience in working with so he was the black sheep here. Though that didn't mean that he doubted what he could do. There weren't that many people, who are still in the group anyway, that Kel either doubted or questioned. Once again Karina was the first to head out, motioning for everyone else to do the same in her usual emotionless way. Before he could take a step forward, Stratos had approached him with a fist bump. Returning the fist bump, Kel replied with a smirk. "I plan to." Thus having said that, he followed behind the other towards their next destination and battle.
"I figured as much." Kruez replied. It wasn't like he had all that many alternatives on what to do since he was still tagging along with them just for the hell of it. Evidently the only issue with Derrick's plan were the people who would be looking for her. As problematic as that sounded, there wasn't much that Kruez could thing to do to resolve that. Well anything not involving a conflict of sorts. Not having anything else to add, Kruez crossed his arms and leaned back a bit in the chair he was sitting in. Not enough for there to be any noticeable difference in how the chair was seated, but just enough to make him a bit more comfortable. Hearing Tatiana's attempt to ask him something, he looked towards her before answering. "If you're asking why I'm still here, it's cause I don't have anything else to do nor anywhere to go." He's mostly spent his time traveling and staying at whatever place he could afford at the time. Plus there was something he still needed to do, so traveling helped. At least the fire had been put out. Zephyr wasn't sure just how Terra managed to put out the fire, but judging from whatever method she used he figured that she could handle the rest herself. Now as for walking Sara back to her room, the little girl had wanted to go outside for some fresh air first. "Sure." He didn't see much wrong with taking her out to get some fresh air. Seeing as Sara still held on to a part of his sleeve, he used that hand to gently hold her hand took her towards the entrance.
The one thing you need to be truly strong is something to protect, once you have that nothing will be able to stop you. Currently sitting in the barracks, Reitan couldn't help but to recall the his teachers words. Words that would go to be the last piece of advice he'd get from his teacher as he passed away not too long after that. It has been a year since he's teachers passing and Reitan was still no closer to figuring out what his teacher meant. How would having something to protect make him any stronger than he was now? Pondering this would have to wait til another time for upon hearing Carissa's voice. Their time for rest had come to an end. If the Valiant had been spotted then the Order of the Hammer couldn't be too far behind. Perfect chance to prove those last words of his teacher wrong. Making sure to take his lance, Mikazuki, with him, Reitan left the barracks and headed towards the battle. There was a feeling of anticipation inside him for it had been some time since he fought seriously and other than practicing his lance skill. Doing so may have kept him from getting rusty, but it was different from being in an actual battle. "Let's get this started." Reitan said in an confidently manner. Now he made his way towards the battleground, ready for a fight.
As more time went by Zephyr got tired of just standing around waiting for something. Some of the others that were in the stasis room were interacting with one other. Unfortunately Zephyr had no desire to do so at the moment, so that option was out. While he was looking around the room, he noticed that the Operator had started to go somewhere. This intrigued Zephyr so he decided to tag along behind him. Going through the same gap in the door that Operator had, he advanced up the stairs before him, making sure to move as quietly as he could. Voices could be heard the higher he got, but he couldn't make out what they were saying.
Karina putting points into defense? What madness is this?
Lumen took notice to Sanderson and his sister for personal reference as he greeted the newly formed adventurer society. Whether or not it was official at this point or not, Lumen didn't know, but that wasn't going to stop him at all. Following the crowd of people inside, he made his way towards Ms. Arcamere when whoever was in front of in had given their name and approached her. "I'm Lumen Seiker, nice to meet you." Having gotten that out of the way, he walked over towards the dinning hall with everyone else and found himself someplace to sit.
There wasn't really anything wrong with Karina's choice to stay away from large groups and it wasn't like he was going to force her back to the group, cause that wouldn't end well at all. "Well nothing's wrong with that per se, but the others aren't all that bad. Well some anyway." Other than his grasping at straws, for the most part he was right. It was quite the unique group that they had, some good, some bad and some tolerable to some and not to others. Though in the end Karina went off to another dark corner and Kel simply left her alone after that. Seeing Steel being restrain to the table by the mad doctor, the first thing that pop into Kel's mind was Glad I'm not in his position right now. Having someone named Mad Doctor operate on you was not something most people would want to have happen to them. Then the plunger/special tool descended down and began to extract the ink from Steel. A plunger was certainly the last thing that he'd expect to see. The operation seemed to end without anything severe happening to Steel, so all's well that ends well he supposed. Since that was now out of the way, Kel turned his attention to the Keyblade Passing Ceremony between Oswald and Mickey. Were keyblade passing ceremonies a common thing or just for special occasions? Kel couldn't remember whether or not he's heard about those before, but there were some blank spots in his memories as of recently. (Blank spots caused by Moksha re working Kel's background). In an attempt to figure this out, Kel stood there lost in thought. Not noticing the green mist that surrounded them until he'd started coughing because of it. As his coughing died down, Kel overheard and made note of what was said. Only five of us can go fight Master Blot and we have to use blot form as well. It sounded simple enough, despite not knowing what blot for was or did. Karina had been the first one to speak up among the wielder as well as take the first steps towards the final battle (in wasteland), follwed by D'daear. Not having anything else to say, he followed behind the two out of the lab.
"I don't recommend that. We don't have any advantages being in enemy territory so sticking together as a group would be better then splitting off to find the king. We just have to keep going forward and hope that the king re groups with us." Gale replied. That being said, he couldn't help but to wonder just what that tune was and why did the king have to leave because of it. There must've been something special behind it that they didn't know.
The group's movements were stopped at they came across some large wilting blue flowers shaped like bells. The supposed 'fairy wings' that were supposed to guide them were no where to be found and it was suggested that they get up on higher ground to see of that would help. Alisa thought about her recently obtained magics to see which of the three would be helpful here. Still not knowing anything about Satan soul, since it was chosen on a whim, that one was out. Transformation could be helpful, but she had zero practice with it so that crossed that one off the list. Lastly there was gravity magic, probably the simplest out of the three. "I could use my gravity magic to float us to the top." When Theodosia had arrived to give them a run down of what had happened, which included how and why the demons were summoned here and other such things. Now she was wondering why the demons were here. "Basically they wanted to help James escape becoming a spitting image of their father while sticking together." Veilen summarized, figuring that someone could fill in anything his missed/make correction to anywhere needed. "I assume that if they did place some sort of alarm, it was set up with the assumption that no one in there SMRF guys would mess up the password. Still we probably shouldn't mess with it until we at least have some clues as to what the password is." Zephyr ended his response to Alessia with a suggestion to everyone. They knew where this place was, so they could still come back later. Assuming everything would still be here if they did leave and returned later.
Still looking at some of the various books that were on the shelves in the study, Zephyr found this to be uninteresting without actually grabbing the books and looking through their contents. Part of him did want to see what was inside some of those books, but those desires were outweighed by the fact that it wouldn't be right to do so considering with Terra's doing for him. Since his options where limited anyway, he decided to move away from the shelf and lay down on the cot for now. Once situated on the cot, Zephyr directed his gaze at the ceiling. It was a plain one at that so simply staring at it served no good what so ever. Zephyr couldn't help but to sigh, maybe he should've taken some of the books he used to read back home along with him. Least that way he would have something to do right now. Oh well, it was too late the change the past now. All he could do was to move forward and deal with what was present before him. Speaking of the present, not too long after laying down on the cot, he could've sworn that he was smelling smoke. He then sat up on cot and gave the air another sniff. He was indeed smelling smoke and nearby at that. This lead Zephyr to move towards the door and look down the hall. Although it was barely visible now there was still smoke coming out the room. A closer look revealed that the room the smoke was coming from turned out to be Terra's room, in which both her and Sarah were there. "Was something burning, I smelt smoke?" Zephyr then noticed the knocked over candle. Did that start a fire here?
Gale followed behind the king as he lead them down the second wall into the city. Once his feet were on the ground, he proceeded to take a look around the area. Nothing had changed. That was probably a good thing. If they didn't know or expect that they were coming, then there wouldn't be any traps or ambushes waiting for them. They continued into the city when Gale heard a whistling, he didn't recognize the tune at all, but he did hear it. Since he didn't recognize the tune, he thought nothing of it. However shortly afterward the king had placed him in charge before heading off. The action had left Gale confused for a moment before as he tried to process what to do. The task of processing what to do could've been harder if not for A) the current task at hand and B) what the king had told him before going off. "We continue on as plan." Gale simply stated before advancing. While progressing through the walled city, Chrono had been looking around at just about everything he could rest his eyes on. To think he had simply planned on asking the king if he'd knew about his parents and now here he was in a walled off city searching for looking for Drake, the captain of the scouting legion and Veera. Quite the unexpected turn of event. An unexpected turn that he volunteered to do. With that in mind, he silently continued to follow behind Gale as leadership of the expedition was given to him.
The next person to arrive at the manor was a formally dressed kid. On his back were items of importance to him, his longsword and his umbrella he carried around with him just about everywhere he went. As for why he was dressed like this, well Lumen just felt like wearing something like it. Nothing more, nothing less. It was one of his unique traits. Just like carrying around the umbrella. Lumen followed the trail as the manor came into view. It certainly was impressive looking, that was for sure. The group that he would now be working with also came into view. He didn't recognize a single one of them and thus the first thing that came to mind for him to do was to introduce himself. So, with a wave of his hand, he spoke to those who were outside. "Hello everybody, so this is the Adventurer's Society."
Added some weaknesses to Reitan
I'll send Lumen on Darklight
Well they had managed to get the computers turned on, but all that did was give them a password protection from some group named SMRF that no one seemed to know. Not much help that was. So long as the password was there, not much could be done about the contexts of the computers. "Unless someone here knows how to hack computers, I got nothing. Though that isn't the best of ideas since there could be some sort of alarm or something on the computer in the event someone tries to bypass the code." None of his magic would help at all in this case, thus limiting most options he could think of. Something about both Cassandra's sudden appearance and wiliness to help out the demons seemed...a little bit desperate to him, but Veilen thought nothing much on that. Instead he listen to Cal's proposed game plan and simply gave a nod. To him it seemed like a a pretty good idea to start with the one who had summoned the group of demons in the first place. "Sounds like a good idea to me."
