Name: Lumen Seiker Age: 16 Class: DIVINE KNIGHT!!!! (in training) Weapon(s): A long sword named Luxcaliber Armour: Leather Appearance: ◉ Personality: Lumen has a carefree air to him. He prefers to do things at his own pace rather then feel rushed in his actions. That aside, he's a noble person when in comes down his beliefs and actions (at times). Usually if something doesn't sit right with him, he's likely to either intervene or involve himself in his own unique way. Backstory: Lumen's early life was filled with various things being expected of him due to his lineage and while he was certainly proud of who he was descendant of, he was not fond of all the expectations. To him they were restricting his way of life, keeping him from being how he truly wanted to be. Unfortunately there wasn't much that he could do in lew of complaints since any complaints of his were met with the expectation card being thrown right at his face. Being face with his innate desire to avoid disappointment, he had little choice but to endure it. Time went on and while Lumen did gradually adjust to having all the expected placed onto his, with the help of his friends he was able to remain his carefree self and not lose sight of who he truly was Base Attributes: Strength - 4 Constitution - 2 Agility - 2 Precision - 2 Magic - 3 Faith - 2 Intelligence - 3 Charisma - 2 Level 3 Attribute: Magic Level 2 Attribute: Strength
Rain down the cannon shots from the heavens! Kel fired again at Mortimer.
LET THE ARROWS, I mean CANNON SHOTS RAIN DOWN FROM THE HEAVENS. Kel fired another round of cannons at Mortimer.
It was a relief that Rhett had chosen not to question him on his response. He'd chosen to take a seat on the nearby chair while Rhett told his story. It was interesting to say the least, especially the fact that it took a single name to get a vampire to work with a werewolf. Admittedly his knowledge on Vampire-Werewolf interactions was standard at best so it was completely possible that he was unaware of something. Hearing Rhett's question, Creed shook his head. "Not really, haven't really done anything that warrants a story." Sien thought about just what it was that he wanted to request from Gaia. The first thing that came to mind was very standard wishes/request. Wealth, fame, etc. None of which he had any real use for. Glancing down, he thought back to his bow and how he was barely able to use it in the trial against the werewolf. Seeing as how it was his primary weapon, not being able to use it both hurt him and could potentially hurt his allies. Keeping that in mind, Sien spoke his wish. "I would like to request a stronger bow and arrows, imbued with magical properties." Valister had taken some time to consider what he should request. The task took quite a bit of thought in order for him to come up with something, but when he did, he spoke it to Gaia. (will be given privately because I still need to think of it)
Eh sure, my inner persona fan is gamed
Having made his way over to a available cannon, Kel got on it and aimed in it in the direction that Mortimer was in. Once the cannon was locked on to the target, he started to fire at the keyblade wielding mouse.
Zephyr couldn't help but to feel a chill when Vyle's gaze was directed towards him. Hearing him bring up the idea of being bait only further cemented the bad feeling that had arisen. He most certainly wasn't feeling up for being bait with the odds against them. There was always the witcher, Selene, who could do it instead. While Zephyr was silently thinking about this, Teliana had spoken up. She'd decided that she was going to be the one to try and lure Solomon out and left. This had left Zephyr with mixed emotions swirling about inside him. The unfamiliar voice, Alyse, had walked closer to him and pulled on his arm. When she asked if it had hurt, Sweallow shook his head. Following that was a assortment of tests involvement simple movements of his fingers or hand. Upon each request, Sweallow did as he was instructed til said tests had come to an end. It was a bit ironic that he was/had been treated despite having medical training of his own but Alyse was likely the reason that he was even still alive so he simply went along with it. "Thank you." He said before muttering under his breath. "Curse the gods for the luck they had given me."
The battle against the shadow blot had finally come to an end and bluntly put, Kel was exhausted. From continually attacking to somehow managing to dodge to having to deal with some injuries during the fight, all of which combined had left him in an pretty exhausted state. Unfortunately there was still work for them to do. The others could likely use some help in dealing with Mortimer, who had somehow managed to piss Karina off. It was a good thing that he wasn't within her field of view, otherwise who knows what she'd do. Speaking of which, since they couldn't actually go there and assist in the fight, firing a barrage of cannon shots would have to do. Therefore Kel started to head over there shortly after Karina silently took off. Not before calling out to the others "Look's like there's something else we have to do before we're done with this place."
It's been a while since I've heard that intro, yet I still have it memorized. Welcome aboard new person.
Zephyr looked through the foliage and at the castle. He wasn't sure if the fact that Solomon was in a castle was fitting or not with how little he actually knew on him. It wasn't dwelled on for long for the sounds of thunder up above drew his attention away from the castle and up towards the sky. That was when a flake landed on his cheek. Under different circumstances, Zephyr wouldn't have minded the snow all that much, but given that he was still missing a sleeve from when he needed to improvise a bandage for his injury. It would suck a bit, but he had little choice but to make due. The silence was broken by Teliana who asked if there was plan. Not a question that Zephyr could answer, especially since he'd asked something similar before they had arrived in Pontarfork. His question had been given two answers. One by Teliana, who had asked the question this time around, and Vyle. With that being the case he could only assume that Vyle would be the one to answer the question again. In a way, going from being restrained by shambling corpses to being stuck in a cage was an improvement. He had more freedom in terms of moving his limbs was a good thing. He had to be mindful of just how much that he moved though, since he was sharing a cage with Veera. Nothing was said between the two of them, in fact the mainly source of sound came from the storm outside. His back rested against the bars of the cage as he stood on the opposite side of Veera. As a way to pass the time, Kruez thought about a variety of things. Some helpful in theory, but not in actual practice and some just random things that had just popped into his head. Slowly consciousness returned to Sweallow as he started to open his eyes. Hearing someone else's voice assisted in this process. Blinking a couple of times, Sweallow had managed to keep his eyes open and started to try and get a bearing on his current locations. None of what he saw at first was familiar to him so he was somewhere else that where he lack recall and given just what it was that he last recalls, it was a good thing that he still wasn't there. Now sitting up on the bed that he had been resting on, his eyes focused on the two other people that were in the room. One being Terra and another he didn't recognized, but assuming from what he had overheard from Terra, she had been the one to help them out of their predicament.
"Right." Crow replied. It was only a matter of time before he had to actually use the gun that he had chosen and now was that time. Crow took aim in the direction of one of the pirates and without intending to, his mind had thought back to when he was trained how to use a gun. Everything that he was told resurfaced in his mind and put to as he started to fire towards one of the pirates, providing cover for Commander Lightwood.
"About three years, she got me out of a tight spot when I was younger." Creed replied. It was also because of said tight spot that he had a feeling of discomfort around werewolves. He was still in the wrong in regards to what happened and Creed is fully aware of that fact, but it didn't change one of the after affects of said incident. Fortunately it wasn't big enough of a deal for him to not be able to be around werewolves, as proven on various different occasions including now. Rhett's question had caught him off guard and caused him to idly stand there while he thought up of a answer. "It's...complicated, let's put it that way." Well it wasn't a lie so there was that. Gaia certainly wasn't pulling any punches when she had asked her question. His newfound allies or King Yuri, certainly a choice that he would have to think over being given his answer. He wasn't fond of the idea of outright abandoning his new allies so that was a point towards them. On the other hand, there would likely be serious repercussion for going against the commands of King Yuri, which was a point to the other side. Mentally Valister went back and forth, weighing the scales in his mind that would lead to his answer. When the mental debate had come to a close, he had his answer. I would choose my newfound allies and help them in their endeavor. I've already gone this far with them, so why not go a little further. A choice that could get him killed, but death was a possibility no matter which option he would've gone with.
"Warlock, you have followed friends and strangers here for the purpose of helping them. But should the Nephilim fall, should you be forced to betray your friends, what do you plan to do then?" Sien heard the voice of Gaia in his head as clearly as he would if she was in front of him. Her question had brought up something that he hadn't really considered. If a situation were to arise like what Gaia had described, what would he do. Despite the nature of the question, it didn't take long for Sien to come up with an answer to it. I would stick by my friends , I knew that there would be some risks if I stayed around, but I won't let that change my mind on this. Upon returning from moving Clarity to a different place, Hestia had walked past him and told him to speak with Rhett. He didn't know just what kind of common ground could the two of them have besides a connection to Brianne, but there wasn't much else that he could do at the moment so he would take Hestia's advice. He saw that Rhett was reading a book and took this chance to approach him. "So how long have you know Brianne?" He figured he might as well start with something that they both have in common. Shortly after he had asked, a long singular scream was heard back from where he left Clarity as well as the direction that Hestia had went. The silence that followed the did nothing to ease his concerns, in fact it only further unsettle him. Even if he had gone back to see just what was happening, just what would he be able to do? Creed couldn't come up with anything that would be of help.
Zephyr could do much beyond watch as Vyle went to go speak with Teliana. He couldn't hear what they were talking about from where he was, but it wasn't hard to figure out that it was about the woman who had recently arrived. Zephyr was still uncertain on how to feel about her, but instead kept these thoughts to himself and kept silence while looking around a bit more. Who knows, maybe something will catch his eye. Still being unable to do much, Kruez simply watched as Solomon motioned for Veera to enter the cage that had be brought via the other undead servants.
In a way it seemed that the plan had worked even if was only Lexander that was actually going into the city. For the time being they would have play along, which wasn't much of an issue to Damion. Long as Lexander could keep up the act, thing hopefully would work out in their favor. While Koldo asked about the rumors regarding shelter in the trees, he listened in curious to know the answer. Tessa had brought up a good point. Why now of all times? There had been plenty of times prior to this for them to do something like this and he never did so why now. Gale thought about his reasons for a short bit before finally reaching an answer. Once he had, he met Tessa's gaze and responded. "Well before I was in the scouts I had this friend who would help me out often and I never understood why and instead of asking, I just put it off figuring that he'd stopped. he never did stop and eventually a titan got to him. He died and I never found out why he helped me out nor anything else about him. That incident two years ago reminded me of that and how little I actual knew of my comrades, so I decided to try and fix that. Starting with you." Gale finished.
With Kalak's next attacked fired off towards him, Reitan had a come up with a plan to avoid taking any fatal damage, a plan that would likely end with him being unconscious given his current state and at that point it would be up to fate what happens to him then. As he braced himself for the shadow lance, something unexpected had happened. Kala had managed to push Reitan out of the way out the lance and take the blow for him. With how focused he was on his own fight, he'd hadn't given much thought to where Kala had gone off to and now here she was taking a hit for him. Kala's act had left Reitan briefly stunned, much like it had the last time someone had saved him. This time however his time stunned was much shorter for out of the corner of his eye he saw Timothy. Seeing the mechanical body charge towards Kalak with such speed was unexpected, but that wasn't the biggest concern on his mind at the moment. With Timothy attacking Kalak, this would give him time to get himself and Kala away. He wouldn't be able to get far though given his condition. Using what strength that Reitan could muster, he picked Kala up and placed her onto his back. Not wasting any time he limped away as quickly as he could with his lance dragging behind. With each step that he took he could feel his strength further leaving his body which in turn made his movement slower and sluggish. He had no idea just how face he had actually gotten before he'd reached the point where his body said no more. Without any warning the lancer was brought down to his knees and soon after onto his face with Kala rolling off his back and landing next to him. His vision soon after started to blur before gradually becoming dark. Dammit. Was the last thing he thought before falling unconscious.
Throughout the entire mission Crow hadn't considered just what this unknown lifeform was or how to react once they had found it. To be perfectly honest he'd decided to let the higher up handle that and only help out when needed. However after the display that Dr. Saturday had put on that had ended with him being behind them, there was only one thing that Crow could say amidst the confusion and surprised that spiraled around in his head. "H-hello."
It certainly had taken some time and they had managed to last long enough to push the Shadow Blot onto it's last legs. The time to finish this battle was drawing near and the fastest way that Kel could come up with to accomplish that goal was to hit it with his strongest attack. "Time to finish this fight!" His hand moved to his side, Kel summoned forth his Star Seeker keyblade and focused in on the shadow blot before them. Shortly after his were closed as Kel started to focused his strength into his keyblade. In the darkness that was his focused mind, cherry blossoms had started to fall from the sky. They symbolized just how much of his strength had entered his keyblade. At first there was one, then two and before long and entire tree's worth were falling from the sky. Star Seeker had just about reached it's peak amount of strength when one of the cherry blossoms had gently landed on the ground. In that instance Kel's eyes shot open and a devastating slash was unleashed on the shadow blot. TL;DR Kel used Zantesuken.
Upon stepping to the other side of the portal, Creed started to look around at where they had ended up. On the one hand where they had ended up wasn't where he was expecting at all, but on the other hand. There was literally no way for him to think that he'd end up in a penthouse. In a dream sure it was possible for him to expect thing, but walking though a portal, not so much. He took note of the room Brianne had been moved to as he nodded at Hestia's request. he wasn't going to open the door either based off of the warning that had been given to Rhett. Walking over to the unconscious Clarity, he carefully placed her arm over his shoulder and helped her to her feet. From there he started to walk around the the penthouse in search for a room to place. her. He'd walked down the nearest hall and past a couple of doors before stopping at a door. The door was unlocked, which he checked by twisting the knob, and he walked in. Fortunately there was a bed in there, not much else, but the bed was the more important part. Therefore he walked up to it and gently placed Clarity down on it. afterward he walked out of the spare room, closing the door behind him and headed back to where Hestia was at. As everyone else had gone on ahead to take their trials, Sien stayed behind to address the bite mark he had gotten from the last one. He didn't want this to potentially hinder him for the next trial, depending on what it was. He reached up to the scarf that was around his next and took it off, then wrapped it around the afflicted area. Tying it one handed was a bit difficult and it took a couple of attempts before he had gotten the first loop done. Fortunately after the first loop, everything else was easy enough after said loop. Having made the knot, Sien tighten it before letting his arm fall down to his side. "I'm ready for my trial now." Vo had demonstrated that she was much stronger than Valister had thought given how easily she managed to break his arm shortly after his hitting of her. A pained nosed sounded out through gritted teeth as the pain coursed through his arm. Valsiter assumed that his actions were part of what was right for the dome had disintegrated around the, releasing him, as for the other half of what was expecting, he could only assume that the others had handled that. Now free to walk on his own two legs, he followed behind Vo back towards the clearing.
