OOC: (cause it works better for me that way.) Jack shifted uneasily, not wanting to start a fight when he was surrounded by half angel bloodlings and two real bloodlings, but he was too uncomfortable just standing around and being watched by nine or ten bloodlings plus a prince, a criminal mastermind and a mercenary for hire, but Jack tried to stay relatively calm and not attempt to dash off for his bike so he could ride back to Mysidia and forget everything.
Ora looked back over at Aya. "I might. If the deal's good enough." Ora said, not all to surprised that someone else wanted him to let the bloodling go. Chronix wasn't surprised at this. He was rather hoping that somebody would relive him of having to look at the same bloodling that he had seen earlier the previous day. Jack was surprised that the subject had come up and asked suspiciously "Are you a bloodling?"
Ora looked over at Aya and responded with a simple nod. He didn't quite know her, but he was pretty sure he had seen her somewhere. Theo waved and Chronix didn't do anything(As Chronix WOULD do), Sin quietly said hi and then turned back to business, Jack kindly said hi and Sero was too involved with his own thoughts to care that someone was there. Theo turned and pulled out his laptop, carefully sliding the chip in, and read the massive coded information over again. Chronix looked at it, confused.
OOC: (Oh no, if I were enjoying myself, my attitude wouldn't be Cynical. I'm dead angry for some reason! And the day hasn't even started!)
OOC: (No, the thing is they just FINISHED arguing. And it wasn't arguing either, it was semi-friendly-okay-not-exactly-friendly-but-you-know-conversation. :D And for a fact, MOST of the characters, like at least six of the Angelmen, are only temporary, Ora and Sin stay for a few threads, Jack dies eventually, Sero finally gets the death sentence and is never seen again, and the only two left as characters are Prince Theo and Chronix. And deathsight44, now would be a good time to run while everybody is distracted from you.) Jack kept questioning Ora, but Ora was not listening anymore, so Jack got quiet. Sero was off to the side smoking(OOC: (We never saw that because I wasn't sure if it's allowed)), Chronix and Theo were ATTEMPTING to catch up with each other, but failing and bursting into laughter each time, Sin and Ora were now talking amongst themselves and the other Angelmen, and nobody seemed to see the still sleeping(OOC: (I think))bloodling.
OOC: (Well, it doesn't last too much longer, really.) Jack looked over at Sero, who was nervously watching Sin to make sure nothing bad happened to him. This was the first time Sero ever looked scared. Ora stopped Sin. "As we were saying, that's mainly one of the reasons we broke the Bloodling out. The other reason is that we were breaking him out because we're just the kind of people who do that kind of stuff, break people who are important out of jail." Jack nodded, knowingly. Theo had bailed him out of a prison not even three years ago. Sero also nodded. Chronix had come to try and reason with the life sentencing thing and succeeded, with the exception that Sero not commit any more crimes as probation. Sero had certainly failed at that.
Jack persisted on with his questions. "Is that really why you freed him, or is there another reason for it, Angel?" "I'm not an Angel, I'm an Angelman, a half human, half man. And the real reason we let him out of the dungeon is because we're a group of rebels who hate human society and everything in it, and we were rejected from Angel status because of that. In fact, most of my group is bloodlings, I'm surprised you didn't see that. We were coming to bust out this bloodling because we were mad that they would torture a bloodling like that, and surprisingly, so were these two humans, they didn't even argue. Do you know of us? No? Well, I'll leave it to Sin to tell you then. Sin?" Sin Angel Age: 16 Gender: male Species: Bloodling Weapon: katana History: Sin was a halfling, a human and bloodling mix, but, like Chronix Sin was killed and experimented on in an Angel laboratory. Sin later became a Rebel by choice because of his hatred towards the humans for killing his family. Sin's glowing red eyes almost lit up his pitch black shoulder length hair. His rectangular glasses glinted evilly. "Well, we're basically a group of halflings who decided to become Angelmen because of what happened to us because of the humans. This bloodling may not want to become an Angelman, but what do you know, I didn't like the idea either, but you don't hear ME complaining." Sin's voice sounded quiet and cynical, and his glare gave the impression of a vampire. That was all he said. Jack was scared and confused at the same time, while nobody else had a reaction. Sero laughed somewhat. "Heh, this kid sounds like he just got back from a war, what the h*ll! He thinks he's so tough, you oughta' see ME when I'm in action!" "We did." Ora said. "You broke this bloodling's wrists, if I remember." Sin looked even more cynical, with his fists clentched so tightly that they turned whiter than he already was.
OOC: (Yeah, it is. Like, 2.)
Ora turned and looked at Jack. "I didn't realize you were going to help us free this bloodling too. If that were the case, you probably could've helped out. A gun and a spear are two weapons we don't carry." said Ora. "Why were you trying to free the bloodling?" Sero asked, smiling smugly. "Simple, we think he could be very useful to us, and not in a way that involves stealing his powers or torturing him to the point of spilling what he knows. We think that he is stealthy enough to get us through our little set of missions unharmed." "Missions?" Jack asked suspiciously. "Yes, missions. We think he could make an excellent spy or assassin for us. Just like Tana..." Ora turned to look at the person who still had his hood up. The boy took off his hood to reveal this person: http://i191.photobucket.com/albums/z250/demonicsis/anime123.jpg
After the group of Angelmen and the two humans had exited the town to a safe distance, Ora carefully opened the bloodling's eyes and popped out the contact lenses, also carefully. Surprisingly, the bloodling stayed peacefully asleep. Again, Ora wasn't too worried. He was just lucky that he had brought a couple vials of blood along with him when he went to free the bloodling. Ora swapped the bloodling's guard outfit for a spare outfit of Ora's, and Ora took off the guard outfit and put his brown cloak back on. Ora then waited till the sun rose to move his forces back to their base. That is, until he heard a voice say "And what are WE up to?" Chronix and Theo turned to see Jack and Sero, both not entirely surprised to see Chronix with Theo and the Angelmen, but completely surprised to see they had broke the bloodling out. Jack spoke up first. "That is, how come we weren't invited, huh?" Sero smiled and Jack cuffed himself in the face and smiled as well. Chronix sighed in relief.
"Right, let's do it." Ora said, taking out a sword and lighting it on fire with oil and a match. Ora easily melted the chains and broke the chains on the bloodling's wrists and legs and picked up the sleeping bloodling. Walking over to one of the downed guards, Ora took and swapped outfits and put some purple contacts in the bloodling's eye, and he somehow stayed asleep. Ora wasn't surprised. This guard had white eyes it looked like, so Ora took out some red contact lenses and put them in the downed guard's eyes. Ora then took out some spray on hair coloring and put the guard outfit on the bloodling before he sprayed the guard's hair white.(OOC: (You wouldn't mind if I did that, would you?))Ora looked over at the two Angelmen and the two princes and said, "Let's go." Ora dashed out the door with the well disguised bloodling and the other four quickly followed. Ora went up the steps and ran for the door as fast as he could, his wings acted as air propelling rockets to help. Ora flew out the door and went for the two bikes parked near the bottom of the hill. the other four were right behind him. "Good. Now, let's get out of here before we get caught." Ora ran back to the area that the five of them were previously in, and the other four, two of which were on bikes, pursued the leader from farther away. The bloodling was free, and no mistakes were made.
OOC: (OMG, I have never felt sooooOOOoooOOo off baLAnce in my LIFE! I misspelled that on purpose. :D So, it's two then?) "Go," Ora said. Theo and Chronix walked calmly up to the castle and walked inside and immediately headed for the library. Theo knew this castle, as he visited it often in his younger days. Theo knew how to get to the library and walked inside with Chronix, neither of the guards usually guarding the door there. Theo pulled out a random booked and pretended to read it, while Chronix hid in a shadowy area and told Ora they were in. Ora gestured at the two Angelmen behind him, and they both walked into the castle and down to the dungeon area, though they were mildly questioned along the way. As soon as they got into the dungeon, they knocked out the two guards at the door, who didn't seem to notice anybody was behind them, because they didn't even turn around(OOC; (I wasn't controlling characters there, just saying they were knocked out)). The purple haired Angelman told Ora they were in, and Ora immediately set off for the castle, half wondering whether he should just go to the dungeon and wait for Theo and Chronix or whether he should go through with the original plan and try and distract the princess. Ora decided just to head for the dungeon. "Chronix, Theo, I'm going for the dungeon. But I need to make sure no guards or anything come at me while I'm headed for there. Meet us in the dungeon, pronto." Theo put the book in his bag and both he and Chronix headed out the door. Ora knocked out a nearby patrolling guard and stole his outfit. Then he hid the guard in a secret room he found when the guard hit the wall. Ora now looked like a guard. Passing the princess's room, Ora looked inside. He didn't see any immediate reactions to his little spying act, so he went on to the dungeon area. Theo and Chronix were already there, and so were the two Angelmen. Theo looked over at Ora. "Well, let's get it over with."
OOC: (kk, 2 it is then.)
OOC: (kk. Can we say it's about, erm, 10:30 now? I'm thinking my guys will go in at 3:34 and save you then. That good, or should I stake it out longer?)
OOC: ( I'm gonna take a wild guess and say the thing between Zane and Diana is over now. So, I just want to make sure first.) "Come on, this is taking forever!" Theo whined like a small child. Chronix snorted at Theo's remark, he knew Theo wanted to use Cobalt so badly on something, but Chronix's job was to restrain the use of Cobalt at all costs, even if it meant knocking Theo out. Which, in theory, meant Chronix would be tried for treason for rebelling and assaulting royalty to the Prince's face, but, it wasn't like Royalty could try Royalty from the same family, right?(OOC: (I KNOW I'm wrong on this, royalty certainly CAN try royalty from its own family if that person wants to, so Chronix would be boned if he did assault Theo.))
OOC: (Sweet, thanx! Of course, I kinda' said that my guys would only go when he guards go off to break or whatever, so I'm gonna' need a time for that, and a length of time to free your character, because I'm trying not to control other characters.) Chronix rode up to the castle silently, Theo, Ora and the two Angelmen following easily behind. "So, this dinky place is the place they're hiding him in?" Ora said, smirking, because he had seen castles like the one in Thero and the main business of Geo City, and both were twice as big as the castle in front of him. Even though, from the looks of it, it would definatelly take at least two hours to scale the walls because they were so high. Ora sighed and pulled out his sword. "So what do we do then, Ora?" Chronix asked, also pulling out his sword. "Well, here's the deal, Theo, I'll bet you anything even though you're both royalty that you two will need a good reason to get in the castle. I bet there are guards on the other side of that door. So, the reason is you need to go to the library for a book because you can't find it anywhere else, and when the guards have most likely made sure you got into the library without doing something stupid, you two use these earpieces and let me know you're in. I'll send in Jericho and Marken after you guys.(OOC: (Jericho and Marken aren't really important, they're only temporary.))After that, once they let me know they're also in to see a prisoner who's part of their family, I'll come in, saying I need to see the princess for something. Once that's done, the code word will be 'Your Highness', and then you two in the library split for the dungeon, saying you have some friends down there and you found the book and are going to get them. If any guards are down there, Jericho and Marken will knock them out. Once that's done, everybody find a white haired bloodling(OOC: (Zane's hair IS white, right?))and break him out, then use this diguise on him, even if he won't cooperate, or give him a guard uniform, and give him some blue contact lenses to make his eyes purple so nobody will suspect he's a bloodling, they'll think he's a guard. Everybody got that?" Ora finished. Everybody nodded. "Good. We'll wait until I say go."
OOC: (Hey, Deathssight44, I know this failed once already, but do you think I could try MY guys's hands at freeing your character? Just thought I'd ask, considering Ora is a master infiltrator and he was able to break free a master of thievery and wizardry without much to help him. So, if it's okay...? Name: Ora Age: 19 Gender: Male Race: Angelman. Weapon: Broadsword Scimitar. That's like a scimitar fused with a broadsword. Appearance: Short, neck length spiky black hair, green eyes from exposure to extreme magics, black sleeveless zip up sweater, black fingerless gloves, black wings with red tips, and the kind of guy who looks like he doesn't care, but turns out to really care a lot. History: Unknown or secret.) "Wait a minute!" Chronix shouted when Ora told him they had to free the bloodling that was locked in the castle dungeon. "We have to go free HIM?! Why?!" Ora simply nodded down at his sword and brandished it slightly. "Well, we Angelmen think we might have some positive use for him, and it won't be the torture he's currently most likely going through. But, we know we might have to restrain him, we saw your little incident today, Chronix. You looked pretty damn pathetic out there." Chronix winced at how much pain he had been in earlier that day. "That," Ora continued, "And we figure since he was stealthy enough to trick someone who's not easily tricked, I'll leave that to you to figure out, we might just be able to use that sneakiness to our cause as well. Sure, we may hate bloodlings, but I'm willing to make an exception to this one. But, we need to remember something, the both of you. Theo, no backstabbing him at all. This includes no pickpocketing, no poisons and for gods sake, NO COBALT TO THE SPINE." Theo nodded, trying hard not to laugh as he remembered the funny incident where he had stabbed Jack in the back and Jack was dangling off the tip of his sword like a rag doll. Lucky for Theo, the medics know the revival technique. Ora turned to Chronix. "Chronix, this applies to you, no Mercenary skills are to be acted upon this bloodling once we break him out. IF we can break him out. But, hey, I AM the Ora who broke out Xendane Von Xendane with nothing to disguise him but a fake face and a different outfit. I shouldn't have TOO much trouble breaking this guy out, even if he does try to kill me while doing so. Are you two coming as well?" Ora gestured at Theo and Chronix. Theo nodded and Chronix hesitantly nodded as well, and two of the other Angelmen nodded and pulled out their weapons as well. Ora nodded. "Good. We'll lave when everybody's asleep. Better to move then then have to fight your way back out. When do the guards usually go off duty?" "They don't." Chronix said, with the ease of memory. "The guards in this town are never off duty because they switch off between night shift and day shift to make sure nobody dozes while on duty, but the castle guards are so often just standing round that they can take short breaks before going to shift again. About twelve minutes, if I'm right." Chronix finished. "Then we'll check to see when they are on break and free him then." Ora said, certain of the plan going successfully. "If we don't bust him out in twelve minutes, you are all allowed to hold that to me. That I lost a valuable bloodling and yet I somehow freed the master wizard with only five minutes to spare and a fake mask and different outfit." Ora said. Theo, Chronix, and the two Angelmen nodded. "Good, now let's go." Ora said, not smiling.
Theo woke up three minutes later in the streets surrounded by figures with red wings and brown cloaks covering their faces. Theo felt someone next to him, and looked over to see the not so unfamiliar face of Chronix Gear. Theo smirked, not enough energy to chuckle. "Or should I say, Chronix Thenero." Theo said, silently laughing to himself. One of the red winged figures stepped forwards and helped Theo to his feet, then Theo bent over and picked up Chronix. "Hey, you guys sent us a coded weapon blueprint. What are we supposed to do, relay your message for you? We might be able to make the weapons, but we need the material first." Theo added, "Though I bet you Angels could do something this complex easy, that code was hard to understand." The red winged figure who helped Theo to his feet took off his hood, revealing a black spiky haired boy holding a slanted broadsword scimitar. "Angels? No, you have it wrong. We are a group of rebels who are not only against the laws of humans and Angels, but also against the unfair ways of Demons and bloodlings." The spiky haired boy said, brandishing his sword in front of his face as he spoke. The others took off their hoods too, three were female, the other four were male. Theo looked around at the little gathering of Rebel Angelmen(OOC: (Angelmen are a type of Angel and a human who are very distinguishable because their wings are usually not white. Their wings could be rainbow if they wanted. You wouldn't mind if I added this in here, would you?)). Theo looked from one face to another. One person had his purple hair covering his right eye, another one had her bright red hair tied back into a spiky bun, and some of the others had their hair held back by headbands. Theo felt very different, surrounded by these Angelmen. The one with the spiky black hair walked up to Theo, sword at his side, and looked into Theo's eyes. He had blue eyes, like Chronix, and his were calm. The spiky black haired person had green eyes from exposure to intense magics used to create him, and his left eye had a scar across it. Half of his left wing was missing, and his wings were black with the tips of the feathers red. He wore a dog tag that said his name was Ora Secktor. Ora stepped back and nodded. "You two will do. We are from now on your personal bodyguards and teammates. Got it?" Ora said, a slight adamance to his voice. Theo nodded easily.
OOC: (OMG, this pic is so awesome!) BIC: Theo woke up not to much later from when he went to sleep and checked the papers and his computer again. Everything was still there, but Theo had found out the papers and the code now. At least, he hoped he had. Theo looked at the code again, staring at it for hours trying to read it all off. Chronix, on the other hand, was looking at the memory of when he found out what the information was in his head. It was a special and very large Angel Technology compound file that read off a new type of weapon to be released to the two princes of Thero. It looked like this: http://i69.photobucket.com/albums/i57/arol_car/Anime/Anime weapons/Sword.jpg Mixed with this: http://i13.photobucket.com/albums/a262/prtymp/animal anime/weapons/scythe.jpg Chronix wondered who the second prince of Thero City was. He already knew about Theo, but who was the other one? Chronix tried to figure it out in his head who could be related to Theo, but he failed, so he tried looking into the memories of the angel and the knight. Apparentally before they died, the knight had become a king and the Angel had become the queen of Thero city, and there was one white haired kid next to them, fidgeting in his chair. He looked like Theo. "Theo, stop fidgeting, son, your disturbing you brother Chronix." the Angel said in a soft tender voice that most Angels had towards humans. Chronix shot back to reality and screamed, alerting everybody around him. Jack ran over to him, scared of what happened. "Chronix, what's wrong?!" Sero yelled, a worried expression across his usually smug face. Chronix had trouble speaking and breathing, so his words came out exaggerated and raspy. "I... I'm... I'm... Prince... Prince Theo's..." "YES?!" Jack asked, urgently. "...BROTHER." Chronix fainted where he was sitting. Everybody looked stunned by this sudden news. Theo realized the code as well, and found out from a distant memory that his brother was a famous mercenary for hire named Chronix. Theo new Chronix's works and what he had done and how famous he was, and he too fainted where he sat.
OOC: (Sorry if the code mentioned here sounds too much like The Matrix, I can't think of any really complex codes. And the fight is only short because by the time the guards had gotten to Theo, the person Theo was fighting was gone.) Theo returned to his mount and almost left when he saw something odd caught his eye. Cautiously pulling out his Cobalt, Theo walked towards the object. It was a glinting green object. Theo picked it up. It looked like some weird computer chip. Only, i was white, purple and yellow instead of the normal chips. Then, he noticed it said "important documents for: Thero City King/Prince" Theo immediately put the chip into his pocket and tried to go back to his horse, but something pulled him back and Theo began fighting an unseen object. The guards and knights rushed into the area of combat to help Theo, but Theo had stopped fighting and checking the chip he had found. It was fine. But someone was trying to kill him, so he had to be much more careful. Theo made sure not to go anywhere alone now. Theo remembered that he said he would be gone for at least a year if he needed to, so he went and checked in at an in, unzipping his back pack and pulling out a laptop as he did so. Thero technology had greatly increased since the dark ages. They had more technology than Mysidia. And Mysidia was ahead on everything. Theo slipped the chip into the drive on his laptop that held computer chips. The information played out quickly before his eyes. Theo struggled to keep up with the coded message, but it was hard. The message looked like this: 9hglszfhgvo[zuf0935t8ioyh9yh90hv9xuf9pczcuohgpozhfvdlhviozr89w tyghuiklxhfiowly8wo9eyg98uf9oshfovhoiyhpfoshjuvcopisyhzioyfioyhsox vdlkhbgvkr930w5toihvdoxtg094utgyes9phgkrehgoljerluger gherso49l57giolhbesoljry89s4tyhgpoieygh98reyhgtgoioerol9gtoeyhp be9osyw48o9ghboilhf09w3aphyfoihergo89w34hgoiles3902ghlef... Theo blinked and shook his head. It looked like gibberish to any idiot, but this was a heavily coded piece of information even the computer techs in Thero couldn't decipher. Theo fell over back onto the pillow on his bed and thought about this kind of code. "Where have I seen it before?!" Theo said to himself, thinking the code back over in his mind. The computer beeped three times and printed out a long sheet of paper written in strange symbols that Theo had never seen before, and it was three hours later when the computer received all the information the chip had given it and finished printing the papers. There was a stack as thick as a dictionary. Theo looked over all the papers carefully and put them in a book like folder and then put the folder back in his leather sack. Taking the chip out, Theo put it back into a secret pocket in his shirt. Theo slowly went to sleep. He knew now that he was definatelly going to be away for more than a year. He decided he would look for Jack tomorrow.
