"If you think it will work then go for it." When they did find something that worked, they would be able to exploit it like crazy in order to fight against the masked man. Just dodging the microbots while hacking and slashing at them wouldn't get them anywhere fast even though it was the only thing that they could do at the moment. Kel really hoped that there actually was something in the UG that could them out in some way, shape or form. His keyblade returned his grasps just in time as another wave of microbots had flown towards, thus he was now able to block against the mass amount of little robots. Having not found anything that he could would be useful in their current situation, Kel instead tried something else. Granted he knew full well that his current plan wouldn't work in the slightest, but it didn't hurt to try it. In what's slowly become a habit for him, he grabbed the keychain of his keyblade, spun it around and chucked it towards the masked man. His strike raid attack was stopped about halfway through its path it was knocked out of the sky by one of the many set of microbots that they were against. Yup, figured that would happen. "Try asking your partner if they've come up with anything." Speaking of which, he could ask his partner the same. "Got any ideas Kaida?" Post: 9/30 90 Munny from Blessed Thief
The first wave of microbots had come flying towards them and with the armored marshmallow known as Baymax out of commission, it was basically up to them to defend Hiro till Baymax was up and running again. Kel wasted no time avoid the first wave of attacks while keeping them away from Hiro. During all this Xara had gotten over to where he was and asked if he had anything. Well he did have something that he could use, the thing was that Kel was certain that the only way that he could us it was to being using his keyblade, Resolute Heart, as opposed to Oathkeeper. Its a shame that he couldn't wield both at the same time. "Unfortunately I don't have anything that could help in this situation." Given that the masked guy was currently standing over the sea and not exactly within range for any of his attacks nor magic, finding some way of knocking him down was not going to be easy. "Easier said then done." Dodging another set of attacks that had been set towards him, Kel quickly took a look around . There had to have been something here that they could use to help. As the microbot that they were following had flown off on its own towards the harbor, Hiro had arrived with Baymax in tow. Now geared up in green armor, the former marshmallow was seemingly ready to assist them. Just in time for the guy in the Kabuki mask had just appeared out of the fog in which the microbot had flown off in. Despite the armor that Baymax was now wearing, he was quickly tossed aside by a a group of microbots and the masked man seemed to have more ready to throw at them. "How exactly are we supposed to hit this guy!?" From where they were they couldn't just go up and hit the guy and even if they did have some way of closing the gap to him, there was still all those microbots that was under their command. Kel was at a loss as to how AJ was coming up with these conclusions. They weren't exactly sure how many microbots were even at the docks and from what he could tell, storage something at the docks seemed like something no one would think twice about given the size of the warehouses here. With a quick shrug of his shoulders, the first thing that Kel said in response to AJ was "Dunno, maybe he's just collecting Microbots." That was another reason to take them. It likely wasn't the reason, but it was still a reason. "Would it really be smart to hide them all over the place? We have no clue how it is that they work and for all we know they could be practically useless separated." Or this could be false and they actually were kept separate for some form of grand scheme that they didn't know about. Not that they had any way of knowing that right now. Then Xara had mentioned that they were missing someone and a quick look around showed that they were indeed right. "How did we lose someone already? Hopefully she didn't get lost on the way here." Despite the act that they were just supposed to be following the Microbot that Hiro gave them
"If only we were that lucky. Shame, a kishin clown would be kinda funny to see." Zephyr commented. Well it would be funny so long as it was more on the funny side of clowns and less so on the creepy side of things. As they walked past the gates of the cemetery, the sight was just what one would expect to see. Bunch of grave, those tomb house things that I don't know the name of and the creepy fog that happens to be there just to add on to the layer of creepiness. "Oh great, this is just a lovely start to things."
There was one main thing that Kuro saw was wrong with Blake's plan. "He hasn't met up with her to buy anything yet, so why would there be a shipment for him to pick up?" He had no problems lying to the guy in order to complete the plan, but the lie actually had to make some form of sense for them to actually believe it. "How bout we try something simpler and just try to get him away from the party without mentioning the deal in any way." What would really make this easier if their remaining target had already gone off somewhere away from the party, making at least one of their remaining tasks easier.
Chrono didn't really pay much attention to what Kara was saying regarding going down the path of darkness. It was likely directed at the ones who wanted to go down the dirt path while he chose to go down the paved road towards the sound of machines. In fact during her speech he had actually started to casually step off towards that direction. His steps weren't large enough for anyone to notice him, but small enough so that he was making slow progress. Then things took an interesting turn when Cerdic tackled Kara and started talking about how the birds were the ones who had stolen their memories. Now if he had said that directed towards something a bit more believable, say some sort of strange creature that they hadn't seen before, then maybe he would've believe him. Heck, he probably would've believed him if he'd said Ria had done it. But birds, that was a bit of a stretch. At the end of all this Alder had decided to go with Kara down the paved road. Well he didn't need to slowly sneak down that way anymore it seemed. "I'll go down the paved road as well." He finally spoke up.
Right when they had almost gotten to the dock, there was a sudden beeping that had come from his player pin. Suddenly, Baymax was speaking to them through the player pin. Just how he managed to do that, he didn't know nor did he even know that the pin could even function like that to begin with. By the end of his explanation, Kel was more trying to figure out just how it was that he'd gotten their dna. As for the notion of personal loss, he didn't really have much to say on that subject. Beyond just giving out encouragement and other things alone those kinds of things, not muhc else that he really knew how to do on that subject. "We'll just have to come up with some means of helping him out when we regroup with them." Having said that, he followed behind Xara towards the docks. Specifically the first crate of boxes.
No one appeared to have a answer to the 'Aevum' question that Alder had proposed to them. Normally it would've been odd to have something in his memory missing, but given have the other things that Chrono had either just remembered or still didn't remember, it wasn't all that surprising. Now as for the two paths before them that they could take, Chrono's focus was on the one with the paved road. There was a simple reason behind his curiosity and it was the sound of machines that were coming from the direction of the paved road. The more he heard the sounds of the machine, the more his curiosity started to get the better of him and wanted to head towards that particular path. "I say we go to the left path, something had to be making all that noise." Chrono said. Plus whatever that thing was could easily help them out in the long run...in theory...hopefully.
During his walk a lot of things had gone through Allec's mind. It had started off with idea on things that he could make later on and ways that he could at least have it so that it looked appealing as well as ideally tasting good. Given the nature of most of the food that he worked with, there was a lot of trial and error to be had. Something said trials resulted in errors that fortunately never lasted to see the light of day after he'd had the misfortune to taste it. He had just about made it to where his quarters were when he had almost past Jael's room. Come to think of it he wasn't at the meeting and he didn't really think that Jael would miss a meeting. Allec stood there for a couple of moment debating whether or not he should ask what he was up to and once remembering that he had nothing better to do right now, he knocked on the door. "Yo Jael, you in there?"
Slightly before Yukyo had walked into the room that they were, but Veilen was trying to figure out just what he would do in the meantime. He could go out and train a bit with his sword, but he'd prefer to do it alone in the forest and when you take into account the current state that the world was in, going off on his own wasn't the brightest things to do and Veilen has a track record for not doing smart things. It's gotten better over the years, but the track record still remained. As for when Yukyo did walk in, his attention turned that direction after hearing Battousai outcry. Well it was time to pull a lie out of thin air to not give away what it was that they were doing. "No, we just finished up playing a quick round of blackjack." Veilen stated. Now in his mind that lie was a decent one at best, in reality however there were a lot of things wrong with said lie and it could easily backfire if someone called him out on it.
Next to arrive at the mission board was Zephyr who simply just skimmed through the list of remaining missions til he found the one taking place at the graveyard. This would be the next mission they go on and hopefully no serial killers would be invovled, nor any corpse., hell not even corpses of any serial killers. The mere thought of dealing with zombie serial killer brought discomfort upon Zephyr. No, no, no. None of that will be happening. He told himself as he headed to where they would be debriefed.
Zephyr and Roderick will be taking the Strange Happening
Something about the name that Alder had mentioned sounded familiar to him. It was vague, but still sounded familiar to him despite not being able to figure out why. The answer was likely in one of the many holes in this memories that hadn't been filled yet which sucked, but maybe it would be the next thing that he remembered. "It sounds familiar, but I don't know why it does." Much like how not having a keyblade prior to mid way into the battle against Ria bugged him, this whole 'Aevum' would do the same. Admittedly to a lesser extent as the keyblade, but it would still be there in the back of his mind. Assuming he doesn't forgot about it of course. Now as for how they were supposed to get out of here...Chrono had absolutely no idea.
It was at that moment that Kel realized that it was a good thing that he had listen to Kaida and taken the RG. He had absolutely no idea just how AJ was making any of these connections given that they hadn't even been here for 10 minutes, but Kaida clearly wasn't happy with it. Man it was a good thing that Hiro could hear or feel her at this current moment. The dish holding the microbot was pointing off in a different direction as Hiro went off towards his home. This must've been the trigger for their next mission for it had appeared on their keyblades. "Looks like we're following this microbot thing." According to Hiro it was trying to get back with its 'buddies' which was good to know in terms of what it was that they would find there. Kel took one more quick look at the microbot in order to make sure that he was going the right direction and headed in that direction.
