The idea of getting a beefed up keyblade for them to use was laid to rest when Hiro had said that the upgrades were going to be primarily for himself and Baymax. It was understandable, but it still did suck. Oh well, least there was still the lollipop that he had gotten form Baymax earlier. The candy was placed into his mouth as Kel wondered who this 'other friend' was that Hiro's aunt had mentioned. Even Hiro himself was unsure as to who it was which hurt the possibility of it being someone that he knew.
Oh hey, you reach Premium. Congrats (honestly not sure if you remember me)
Zephyr let out an annoyed 'tch' sound having seen the zombie avoid his attack by going underground. The zombie was surprisingly nimble for someone that was both dead and larger than the four of them. "It'll be even easier when we can find him again." This wasn't exactly playing to his strengths at all and nothing about that made things better. In their current situation the zombie could strike at them from anywhere or even catch them off guard. Not good, not good at all. "You two okay over there?" A simple question, one filled with concern for his teammates. A simple question that was followed by the zombie rising up from the ground next to him. Having no time to react Zephyr was left unable to act as tombstone was slammed into his gut and as a result before ducking back underground while Zephyr himself was sent flying and right into a tree that was fortunately happened to be there. It was impressive that he managed to keep his grip on his weapon. 10/30
It seemed like his spur of the moment lie had worked out in their favor as the guy bought it before heading back out door.l This resulted in Veilen sighing as he leaned back slightly in the chair he was sitting in. He didn't know just how secretive that they were supposed to be with this meeting, but random guys stumbling into the room was likely in the category of those to not tell about what it was going on here.
The new voice had brought Kuro's attention towards the door and right at the barrel of the gun that the mafia boss had aimed at him. This wasn't part of the plan at all and while the sensible thing to do was to get out of the line of fire, Kuro wasn't able to move. Whether it was out of fear or due to his legs not listening to the signals his brain was telling them, the trigger had been pulled and the bullet had been shot at him. At this moment Kuro had expected to feel the pain of the bullet pass through him or the coldness of death creep up on him. Instead he felt nothing, his heart was beating much faster than it normally way. Things started to fall into place once Kuro heard Blake's voice. The smell of blood had reached his nose and the source of it had been witnessed by his eyes and registered by his brain. Blake had taken the hit for him. Again misfortune had befallen someone else because of him, even if it wasn't directly cause of him. This wore heavily on him as he took hold of Blake in her scythe form, wearing a slight frown on his normally stoic face. It may have been his lack of a reaction that caused his partner to get hurt, but now it was him versus their target and they would be the ones to walk out of here alive. 2/10
"So anyone know anything about a journal?" As a way to pass the time while they were walking, Chrono had decided to ask about one of the things that he had recently remembered during the battle against Ria. If the various reactions to Alder's 'Aevum' question was anything to go off of, someone in this group might know something about it ideally...hopefully...if not he'd just ask someone that went on the other path when they reconvened. Having gone up and down another mountain, the road had taken them to a village that swirling darkness around it as well more sounds of machines despite the current shape the village was in. "Ya know, I was expecting there to be a lot more, I dunno, people here." Even the machines were still functioning, something had to have been keeping them functioning. On cue there was a flash of light followed by another figure fleeing from a large group of heartless. There was someone there and they were clearly in need of some help. In an instance his keyblade appeared in his hand, as did a smile on his face with the sheer fact that it did come back to him this time, and went to deal with the heartless chasing the figure. Doing so alone wasn't the brightest of moves so Chrono briefly paused, turned towards the others and said "Come on guys, he's not going to help himself." then went back to going towards the heartless.
Instead of making contact with the down Zoey, the tombstone had connect with Zephyr's katana. He had managed to parry the attack that was meant for her and by parry, he means that his attempt at blocking the chunk of stone ended with him sliding it off of his blade and down towards the ground. This action bought him some time and he used that time to deal a downward strike at him. 7/30

Kel had been caught off guard by two separate things in a short amount of time, the first of which being Kaida saying something to him. Due to being primarily focused on avoiding being hit by the vast amount of microbots, he'd effective forgotten about his partner. The next thing was seeing what Kaida was fighting or rather not seeing it. From his perspective she was just fighting the air. When the initial shock of seeing her fight the air had passed, he recalled that there was a heartless in the UG according to Glen, which was according to what Xara had told them. An odd time for him to forget that pretty important detail, but his mind has been focused on other things for the most part. Posts:30/30 270 Munny from Blessed Thief
Throughout this cycle of dodging and fighting back microbots, they've yet to make any progress towards actually hitting the masked guy. Another wave of microbots was sent towards him and Kel managed to avoid them before any damage could've been done to him. Another set had flown towards him and it was stopped by a quick burst of fire magic from him. It may not had been much, but it was enough to disrupt the chain of microbots and give him enough time to move out of the way once more. Posts: 28/30 240 Munny from Blessed Thief
I was going to take a spot, but seems like I missed my chance
With weapon now in hand, Zephyr went on the offensive by charging after the as it went towards Zoey and Dana. When it had spoken to them, it was odd and made even more odd when it had identified them as DWMA students. Was there some sort of connection between it and the school? No matter the situation at hand was the more priority one as Zephyr attempted to strike at the Zombie the closer he got to it. 5/20
The next wave of Microbots that had sent at him had been fended off successfully before any more potential harm could be done by them. "Don't think he likes the fact that we're here to begin with." Still that wouldn't change much regarding their efforts in trying to stop him, which knowing that there was a heartless producing the microbots that they were using. One window of opportunity would be nice to, especially if they could figure out how to get closer to him. Posts: 24/30 210 Munny from Blessed Thief
The moment the blue hand had emerged from the ground Zephyr had gotten himself ready for what was next, which is to say he quick pushed Roderick out of the way of the tombstone that was swung towards him. Least this time they were up against something that they could actually hit as opposed to a ghost. But still it was a zombie and he wasn't taking any with letting this thing get close to him, though with that tombstone it was swinging around, there was a whole another reason to keep their distance. "Ready for this Roderick?" 2/20
/ Knocking away another wave of Microbots, Kel had a quick look around to get a general idea on the current situation at hand. AJ seemed to be doing well on his own, Gwen was still no where to be found and as for Xara. She appeared to be having the worst luck out of the three of them. He had just seen her be be both picked up by the microbots that had swarmed her and tossed aside towards a pile of boxes. Right now Kel was the closest person to her and had the best chance at getting to her before the impact against the wooden crates. Kel moved as fast as his legs would take him and placed himself right in the path of the flying girl, with an added measure of gravity to keep himself anchored to the ground upon catching Xara. It was a good thing that he had done so, otherwise he might've gone flying back into the crates himself while holding her. "Gotcha." Kel then gently placed her back onto the ground. A heartless was producing the the microbots, that was a little bit concerning given that Hiro said that he had built them. The masked man must've been using the heartless to reproduce the ones that Hiro himself had made. He wasn't sure how many out of the mass amount of Mircorbots that was, fortunately it was something to worried about another time. "Got it."It was good to know, but there was a way to turn things around for them. They just had to hold out while the UG team dealt with the heartless making all those microbots. That plan sounded good to him. It took care of the getting him away from others portion and gave them and opening to assassinate him. So Kuro nodded in agreement. "The plan works for me." Now for operation wait for Aelin to post moving us on so we can end this mission.
