Alyssa stayed silent for a moment before answering Emily's question. "It's early, and I'm hungry. When I get too hungry I start to get a bit edgy. I got it from my mom." She explained. "So it would be in everyone's best interest in we stopped somewhere and got food. You said you were hungry too, right Emily?"
Sweet, making friends is such a good thing.
Nerves are normal about that kind of stuff though. Especially when you are going to a new place. I'm not going to say, "Oh don't be nervous."...
You are as well. I say we become friends.
I guess that is kind of a blessing in itself too. That will give you the chance to get out there and make more friends. Especially if you are...
You know I'm surprised we have never talked outside of threads before.
Alyssa looked over at Kipp, she had barely heard what he had muttered in her direction. She could smell a faint aroma of smoke coming from him. She looked him in the eye, trying to communicate that she did not approve one bit.
I know that feeling. That happened to me as well, so I kinda just found a new group. And now one of the ones from the old gropu has hung out with...
Alyssa watched as the car pulled up to her house. She quickly put a look on her face which she hoped read, I'm pissed. She picked up and bag and stood up she walked quickly over to the car and yanked the door open. Looking in she said, "Just as I though, I'm last." She threw her bag onto the floor and plopped down in the back seat. She slammed the door shut and said, "You will receive pay back for this."
Hey, I still have another year of high school to go, I'm not that lucky. And why is it eh?
Alyssa sat impatiently outside of her house. Know the others they would probably decide to pick her up last, and she was going to be sure to give them hell about that. She looked down at her arms and noticed she had gotten goose bumps in the span of her waiting. She dug into her bag, making her way through make-up, clothes, and other necessities and pulled out a large hoodie she had gotten from one of her guy friends. It's always nice having friends of the opposite sex, their clothes are larger and smell really good. She pulled on the hoodie and sat. She took out her phone and sent Emily a text reading: Have you been picked up yet? I think I am beginning to freeze. Sure that may have been a bit dramatic, but that is what Alyssa is, dramatic.
You finally got your laptop? That's awesome! (: School is going good now that it's over. How about for you? Have you graduated already?
Okie dokie. :'D I'm glad you have been up lately. I have been, hmm, actually pretty okay lately.
Yoooo. I suck at replying. I fail. Ha. So how ya been?
Alyssa lay in bed wide awake. She didn't get much sleep at all that night, tossing and turning, checking the time on her cell. It seemed she had layed in the bed long enough, she checked the time once more 2:45. She thought. She jumped out bed and walked into her bathroom. Her reflection nearly scared her. Her hair was messier than normal and she had dark circles under her eyes from not enough rest. That or the secret she was carrying, she wasn't sure. She hopped into the shower, and took a very fast one, just to try to shake off the weight of things in her life. She put on the clothes she had picked out the night before, jean shorts and a pink tank top. She pulled her hair up into a pony tail, her bangs and front layers hanging out. She slid on her flip flops and grabbed her bag she had already packed. "All right, time to head out." She said outloud to herself quietly. She opened her bedroom window quietly and slipped out. One of the only good things of living in a one story home. She had done this many times before, she used to sneak out all the time, she would even call herself a professional. She walked to the edge of her driveway and sat down. "Now only to wait." She said to the air.
Oh wow really? I'm glad I was the first. I find it really awesome.
Your avatar. I love it.
Character pick: Little Miss Edgy Name: Alyssa (Aly) Nicole Dekker age: 17 gender: Female appearance: Spoiler other: Knowing a secret this big is tough. She could tell him and make things easier on herself, but that would only hurt her. She fights constant urges of relapse but stays strong, not only for herself, but for him. She cares for him too much to go back to that, because if she did, who was going to help him? No one. Now living with other's problems on her shoulders she knows that she has to stay tough for them. So she puts on a mask and keeps going strong. She likes toast with pink jelly for breakfast.
Winning or losing matters not to me.
I dreamed I was Lightning. It was awesome.
