Zephyr certainly didn't have any traits that would be the most helpful in information gather, the first thing that he figured he could do was to eavesdrop. Not the most of helpful abilities for this situation, but it would have to do. "I'll find a way to manage" Was what he said to Dylan before heading off. If he actually was going to go through with his plan of eavesdropping then first thing that he should do is to find a place where he can do so without looking suspicious.

It was uncomfortable being made to stand against his former allies. Each one of which he had fond memories of for the most part. At the very least the few times that he did interact with them were good as opposed to being something that he didn't want to recall. This was something that he had to do though, this was a life or death situation for them. Hikaru's words did provide some relief to him. Copies were just copies and cared not for them. The massive horde of heartless was imposing enough sure, but wasn't all that fazed by what he saw. Something that was made clear when his first action was to punt a shadow heartless that had gotten close to him. Hadn't even made an attempt in attacking him yet, it just happened to stop right at his feet. "Good, I could use a way to vent all this frustration." Keyblade appeared in his hand and he went to attacking the smaller heartless. Not cause Alder had said so, but unless they all were going to focus on it, who in their right mind would attack it by themselves.
The fact that the king had just straight up ignored him did irk him quite a bit. He would've been fine if the king had blatantly lied to him or at least given him some sort of response. Had it not been for the fact that he was a king, Chrono might've tried asking again. In a less friendly way of speaking. Fortunately their guide was kind enough to clue them in as to what the previous outsiders had done. That certainly made it clear that he was much more interested in the outsiders who had come before them despite the King's lack of interest in helping them. The lack of interest was brief for laying eyes on Take's keyblade seemingly changed his attitude on them. No idea what this war he had mentioned was, but that would be another question for another time. With the map in hand, Chrono looked over the locations listed and soon found himself the place in which he wanted to go to. The ruins. Seemed like a safe bet that the heartless would be there. At this thought, his eyes glanced over to Tinarah who was currently speaking with another guard. He was pleasantly surprised to see her doing that on her own. Chrono would still be there for her should she need him, still seeing her stry and do something on her own was a nice thing to see.
Out of the corner of his eye Lazuli noticed that one of their teammates had yet to introduced themselves. In fact, they hadn't even said a single thing since they gotten out here. Interesting, more so surprising, but also interesting. They should probably get her to talk or at the very least introduce herself so that they know what to call her and what her voice sounds like. Lazuli had intended to do just that, but was interrupted when the Fire Guardian herself had appeared. Typically Lazuli wasn't one to let himself be intimidated by an opponent just because they were stronger than him. All that time he'd spent in the lower district of Mistral had taught him that catching people off guards increased the odds of him winning if done correctly. That didn't apply here though and staring at the flames before the two teams didn't do much to reassure him either. The man turning into was an odd sight, odd enough to lead to a smirk forming. But it was a short lived one one the gravity of the situation kicked back in before him. Nothing more for him to do other than to make some form of attempt at keeping her busy and that's exactly what he did.
The walk to their objective was a silent one, the only voice being Lea who'd given them an update once they were close to where they were supposed to be at. He raised an eyebrow at the pillars that rose up in the distance the closer they got. It was quiet for all of a few second before a voice cut through the silence and it wasn't any of theirs. From behind the pillar that he was prompted to hide behind, Vallus listen in to the conversation between Lea and 'Tango'. Nothing of much use was said other than the mentioning of this 'Nequa' person. She must've been a real piece of work if this guy worked with her. Still names didn't do much without any information of faces to go with them. Plus there was a much more pressing issue to deal with. Tango knew that they were all hiding behind these pillars and was baiting them into attacking him. Vallus wasn't going to take that bait til he knew just what this guy could do, but standing behind these pillars would o nothing beneficial for them.
Brynhild was much too preoccupied with gnawing on the meat of the deer to notice the smoke pillowing into the sky. This is where Arthur choose to speak to his partner. Brynhild, I'm going to need some magic. His partner looked up from the deer and towards his pact partner, noticing the arrow as well. That killed some of the proudness that he had felt at making the kill himself. A sort of glare was shot in his direction, but it looked no more than a simple pout given the tiny frame of the dragon. What for? Even mentally the annoyed tone in his voice was still heard clearly through Arthur's head. There were two ways that Aruthr could've gone about handling this, A) shoot an arrow in the direction of the smoke or B) tell his partner to look up. Really an easy choice when they were placed side by side. Look up. And so he did and finally saw the rising smoke. That's why. At that point there wasn't much need for anything else to be said, Arthur simply readied himself another bow and fired it off in the direction of the smoke. This arrow being fueled by the magic of Brynhild flew much farther than normal and slowly took the shape of a see through bird that Arthur would be able to see whatever it was that it saw. Like the burning manor for example. Hmm, interesting. Too late to do anything about the fire, but not too late to try and find the cause.
When it finally came time for them to venture forward, Chrono followed behind their guide. When the 'don't look down' joke was made, he knew full well to not look down. Nothing good ever came from looking down when someone said something like that. Entering the city had Chrono start looking around to take in the scenery and noticed all of door and such being closed as they walked by. Guess they don't know what to think of us. They were still outsiders and being escorted through the city at that. All that combined probably didn't leave the best of impressions. Finally they had reached their destination, catching a glimpse at the Princess as they did. Now they were face to face with the king himself and he certainly didn't sound pleased to any degree at seeing them. "Our weapons are different and were made to fight the heartless here." Chrono said. Then the king had mentioned other outsiders arriving here before they did. This had intrigued him and started sense to some degree. "What did the other 'outsiders' do exactly?" As much as he would've loved to ask more questions than that right off the back, taking the slow approach was probably the better way of going about this.
The extractor had some unfinished functions? Well it was no surprised that it was something else that he didn't know, but he wondered as to what else it was supposed to do and just how was it supposed to deal with Ria. Alder did have a point though, any notes left behind would likely have those answers and this time he would be certain to read any information before something else comes and prevents him from doing so. "Let's get this over with then."
Two people out of out the group that had been there when he'd arrived himself had chosen to not board the boat towards the massive ship in the distance. Regardless of their decision it wouldn't change the fact that they were going to be outnumbered one way or the others. What it would affect was the number of fighters that they had. In that regard more was always better than less. Still, at least as far as he was concerned, the lack of preparations that he was able to make was still poking at the back of his mind. While his intent may have too just look at the tarven he was hearing so much about, he was still reasonable equipped. He would just have to make the best with that.
Someone with no combat experience managed to take out two royals guards and three minsters. The ministers were understandable to a degree, he doubted that any of them had combat experience when it came down to it. The Royal Guard on the other hand were the real tricky part. He thought about this, thinking over what Kara had said. What if the ability was given to her? On that thought he glanced to the gloves that he wore, once completely ordinary and now enchanted to react to his own magic. "What if someone else gave her the ability for long enough to murder her victims." Zephyr proposed in an equally as low voice as Kara's. In theory it made sense, but in actuality there were a lot more questions to be answered.

So Tron wasn't able to participate not out of choice, but because Sark pretty much wasn't allowing him to. It certainly threw a wrench in finding an alternative to Aislinn participating. She however was willing to participate if she had to. Kel still didn't feel completely okay with making her do so, but it was still her choice. "Alright, just don't overdo it." Kel then materialized his light cycle and rode off to get in some practice. 9/10
