Agnitio dying was a possibility that Chrono had figured could've occurred, so hearing confirmation of that did not really faze him. Master Ryce vanishing though was different. Disappearance meant there was still a possibility of him still being alive and another source of insight. Masters should have some sort of special information that not everyone has access to. That was at least what Chrono was going for with these newfound hopes of his. "I would hope he's more qualified." With his current batch of...limited memories that he was making this presumption on, saying that they were more qualified than a master was something he couldn't do. Perhaps they actually were at one point and it was just one of the many thing that he knew nothing about. Shrugging, Chrono waited to see what the others had as their input.
Taking another look around the ship, Chrono found the lack of anybody up here to be odd. Sure there was the guy moping the deck, but he wouldn't exactly be the most helpful in keeping them from being thrown off the ship should someone finally notice them. Chrono agreed that being caught on this ship as they were would not end well for them, but at the same time if whoever was in control of this ship was hostile, then barging in on them might end badly as well. In his mind, both options had a risk, but with the latter they could at least attempt to talk their way out of trouble. "Finding the captain sounds good, but where would we start looking to find them?"
The back and forth between Megumi and Yue did not seem like a good thing to Kel. He didn't quite here everything that they were talking about, but was he did hear was enough to figure out what they were talking about. That was when the mission board appeared with the list of partners. Being partner with Luna wasn't a bad thing by any means. Speaking of which, he waved back at her upon noticing her approaching him. "We have to be getting close to the end of this, so let's keep up the good work." He took a quick glance at the mission board. Aux's name was still in fact up there and he didn't know how to feel about that. Perhaps it was just a temporary thing.
The longer that Lazuli looked outside of the window to his room at the streets below, the more he was slowly wanting to just sneak out and roam the streets. It would fun for old time sake, plus it didn't look like much had changed since he had been there. Form his perspective it would be perfectly fine for him to do just that, even with the added fact that he had little to no plans on letting anyone else know about it. A force of habit. if he would have to explain himself. Right as he was about to open the window however, he heard a voice shouting from outside. An offer to buy them food and drinks, good enough enough for him. When he had opened the door to step out of his room, he caught sight of Aalis glowing blue. That certainly wasn't the oddest thing considering that she briefly turned a man into cheese. With a simple shrug he trailed behind the two. Being the last one to arrive, he was surprised to see that Lloyd had ended up tagging along as well. Not to mention the fact that the new guy who had come with Professor Glynda was there as well. An interesting turn of events for sure. Striding further in, Lazuli walked up to where Arian and the others were. "You sure you wanna go through with this?"
It was an odd experience for Vallus, almost as if he was floating in an empty void. While floating in this void, he had no control over his actions and was nothing more than a passenger in his body. This enraged him greatly. Once again someone had manipulated him and by the time he had realized this, it was too late to actually do anything about the actions in the past. Much like before the one thing he could do was to walk forward, walk forward on this blood stained path of his. Suddenly Vallus found that the floating feeling he was experiencing had come to an end and he was in fact in control of his body once again. He'd blinked a few times to readjust himself to his surroundings. Said surroundings being a cage made out of metal. Odd, but he would question that another time for the cage itself had started to lower into the ground, thus removing the one obstacle between himself and his target. If there was anything that he could say he was disappointed with, it would be the fact that he was unable to swiftly put an end to her life, but there was still a way for him to achieve the desired end results. "This." Vallus simply stated, drawing his blade and entering a ready stance. In the next instance, his blade was plunged into Krista's chest all while avoiding Kiara. As he removed the blade, Vallus knew that the wound itself would not be fatal by itself, but in her current predicament getting out alive before bleeding out was unlikely. Even if she did somehow make a feeble attempt at getting away, he would be sure to snuff out the dying flame of her life.
"Yeah, that'd be for the best." Finding out the the recorder had belong to Karina was one thing, but to hear the actually contents of the recording was a different matter entirely. He didn't know what to say about it, let alone if he even could say anything more regarding that. In truth he did not want to think about what was on the recording right not. Between Glen's vanishing, Aux's sudden appearance and this, there was a lot to think on. Each of which to its own varying degree.
The mentioning of other keyblade wielders had been what caught Chrono's attention the most out of everything that Moira had told them. If they used to be more common, then what happened to them all? Did they leave with the group that supposedly left or did something else happen. "Then what happened to Agnitio and Master Ryce then?" His eyes glanced over towards one of the disc like objects as they continued to walk forward.
A ship was by no means the first place that Chrono thought that they would end up at and the surprise continued upon looking up. They were right underneath the stars, like much closer than he had even been before. Suddenly what Torrin had told him before they set off was starting to make a lot more sense. This whole thing was pretty cool to look at. "We should be fine as long as they don't think we're hostile." Unlike last time with the Atlantians, there was no heartless around for the to fight and thus reveal that they were, in fact, well armed. If they could keep it that way, then perhaps they wouldn't try to throw them overboard.
When he had gotten to the other side of the portal, Kel noticed the fact that Kaida seemed to be holding up a tape recorder and that some of the ones who had already beaten him to the other side had their attention on it as well. He would've assumed it to be Kaida's had it not been for the way that she was looking at it herself. That acknowledgement brought up the question 'Who did this tape recorder belong to'? From what he could infer, no one else seemed to have any clue as to who it belong to at all. Hikaru had asked if there was anything on it and that was the quickest way of finding who it belong too, even if the possibility of it being private.
There was a brief moment in which Kel didn't know how the man who had appeared out of nowhere in the middle of the hub, but upon hearing that arrogant voice blaring from the megaphone, it became very obvious as to who the man was. He was fully prepared to continue ignoring the man until he got on to the point, but when Glen digitized before them he had little choice but to pay attention to what the man was saying. The shock of this sight had sooner turned to anger in which Kel managed to move a full inch before he found that his body was paralyzed, the only thing keeping him from opening going to lash at Sho. Once more they're current GM pressed a button on his glove and the already angry Kel was fully expecting for another one of them to disappear as well as his anger growing more. His expectation were only half right for X, who was still dressed in his black cloak attire, suddenly changed. "What's here doing here?" A crisp, clear amount of anger layered his question as his attention turned to Aux. Another man had arrived onto the scene and after a failed attempt at apprehending Sho, assured them that Glen was safe. By all accounts it was good to know, but the issue of Aux was still the one he was more concerned with. Taking in a deep breath, Kel started to walk towards the portal with his fist clenched tight. He had over heard what Ananta had said regarding Aux and it had completely surprised him. Just because he had reasons didn't justify his intentions at all. This was the same guy who had sent them to the Realm of Darkness to likely get rid of them. That isn't something that he can easily overlook. There was nothing that Kel could say regarding that, plus Kaida had already punched Ananta in the face, so he silently made his way through the portal.
He wasn't given the most satisfactory of answers, but it was about what he expected. At the very least he knew what Torrin was looking for, plus the was that he was quick to change the subject only made Chrono more curious as to what else was the connection between him and the Light Chaser was. Nodding at the brief explanation of the next world, Chrono replied with a "I'll keep that in mind." Before heading back to where Atmos and the others were.
Right when Chrono had chosen to put the pocketwatch back in his pocket, someone had spoke to him. That wasn't a surprise as he had fully expected someone to check on him should they spot him sitting by himself. The surprise was in who had walked up to him. Torrin. Chrono still had some concerns regarding them, but they weren't the highest priority right now. "Of all people, I didn't think you'd be the one to find me." Chrono got up from his seated position and turned to face him. Come to think of it, despite being a lower priority for the time being, there was still something on his mind that he needed to ask Torrin. "One thing first, back in Eventide Town were you looking for the Light Chaser or one of his comrades before you ran into us?" That was among the many things that he wanted to Torrin earlier and didn't have the chance to do so and this may not have been the time to ask all, if not most, of the questions that he had. At the very least he would ask that one and decide if the rest needed to be asked depending on what answer this question was given,
Lumen had been lost in his thoughts while he sat by himself, plus there was the added fact that he doubted that anyone would approach him where he currently sat. So to hear someone speak to him was unexpected on top of the fact that said person had spoken to him on top of the fact that they had chosen to sit across from him. The woman was attractive, that was Lumen noticed right off the bat. "Perhaps, depends on who I am buying the drink for." She mentioned something about a proposition. Was he interested in said proposition? Yes, in fact some of that interest had appeared on his. Not the most noticeable of things, but the small hint of it was there. "And what might this proposition be?" The fact that he was interested didn't change how he knew little about what it was that she was trying to get him to partake in.
There's always Persona 6/whatever enchanced version of P5 they make
Following his somewhat early waking, Chrono had found himself a quiet place to sit. Ideally he didn't want to be bothered right now, but after everything that had happened yesterday it wouldn't be surprised if someone had walked up to him after seeing him. The passing of the day had given him time to truly calm himself, but it didn't fix how he felt about the overall situation. Outstretching his hand, he briefly called forth his keyblade long enough to get a quick look of it and proceeded to let it vanish in the same flash of light that had summoned it. He may not have known just how much progress he needed to make to not be a liability in the event they came across the light chaser and for all he knew it could've been an impossible gap to close in short time. Chrono slowly reached into his pocket and pull out the pocketwatch that he kept on hand, perfect for moments like this. The slow, constant ticking had started to ease a bit more of the doubts he held. Breathe Chrono, just take this one step at a time.
It was a relief to know that Stratos was alright, though the same clearly couldn't be said about Ignis. "She must be experiencing the worst of it then." Luna was currently trying to comfort her while he stood there alongside Stratos. The last time that he had actually spoken to Ignis, that he could easily recall, was al the way back in Land of Dragons where she was a he at the time. Kel did know that she was in Country of Musketeers as well, but there was still plenty on his mind during that world and thus he didn't make any time to try to get to know anyone. Right now didn't feel like the best of times to start asking about that kind of thing either.
The truth behind Atmos's words had struck Chrono hard, but instead it redirected his anger. His lack of power was the reason that he left to be trained in the first place. So to hear that his progress was lacking, no matter how true, was disheartening. A sigh was the sign that he had relented. "Right."
Chrono was quiet as he listened to what Atmos was saying to them. Torrin had taken it up to himself to inform her after their missing teammates. After that he had gone back to his thought, trying to put together why the Light Chaser would want a princess of light in the first place. Not that there was much about them that he knew in the first place, but still what did TInarah have to do with any of that. Seeing that Atmos had turned her attention directly to him, he refocused in on what she was saying to him. "What do you mean I'm not ready!?" The words practically flew out of his mouth. Wasn't ready? He didn't care if he was ready or not right now, if there was a way to find where his sister had been taken to then he was sure that he would go. Chrono had once more clenched his fist in the new found anger that was building up. "Just what about me isn't ready?"
count me in
"None taken." Chrono said. Admittedly he was unsure if he could be offended by that statement on the account that any recollection of how he used to be. Daeni's explanation didn't really do much to shed any light on what he didn't know. If anything it made things more confusing. That aside, right now Chrono didn't really care about what they did right now and was much more concerned with the end results of their actions. Whether it be here or on something other world, long as they brought an end to Ria and he got what the memories that he was keeping from him. "How bout we discuss this later and just get a move on."
