Weaselton was not happy to be dealing with more cops, a fact that was made pretty clear right off the bat. The fact that he'd mentioned the names of not only one of the people that they were looking for, but both of them was very suspicious for all of 5 seconds. Those five seconds had ended with Weaselton stating that they were the third group to interrogate him. Were interrogations supposed to go like this? Somehow Kel pictured them to be more...organized. Kel attempted to speak, mainly to stop him from ranting on any further, when a couple of gold watches fell from Weaselton's person. If it had just been the watches then maybe the only thing that Kel would've said was 'Are they going to be okay'. The wallets falling however lead to an awkward silence between them. He may not have known what a parking ticket was, but he had a general idea on what a wallet was and more importantly, none those faces matches his at all. "Wait, get back here!" Kel was the first one to take off after their new person of interest.
Chrono hadn't really gotten all that far away from where he had started walking, instead he'd stopped to look at the starry sky as they flew past it. It was a nice sight and one he never thought he'd ever see. It was nice and pretty distracting from the variety of things going on in his mind. Then Aria had come running by and informed them of a crowd of heartless on the side of the deck. That had prompted Chrono to look at the side of the ship, spotting the various shadow heartless moving about on the side. He'd chased after Aria after seeing this. Something like this wasn't good, nor was it a good idea to leave it unchecked. Upon arriving, he'd caught the tail end of what Take had said. "Getting who to help us?"
Chrono waited with his arms crossed for the rest of Illiana's explanation. He wasn't sure how his one question about whether or not she had a sibling ended up being more personal than all the questions she had asked him. At first his answer was very much not helpful in regards to clearing stuff up. Maybe he should've asked about her umbrella instead, he had a lot of questions regarding how she just shoved a table, chairs and tea set into said umbrella. A sight that had caused him to raise his eyebrow. When Illiana had spoken next, Chrono had actually gotten some decent information from her. It wasn't much, but certain more than what he was getting earlier. "That's more than enough." At the very least Chrono could understand not wanting to recall certain memories, he would at least not press for any further questions this time. Chrono uncrossed his arms and started to walk around. Maybe a clue as to who cut the rope Mister Arrow was tied to would appear while he did so,
The silence that had preceded Illiana's answer was the most surprising part while the answer itself was a letdown for sure. Answers and reactions like the one he was given were the main reason behind him going further with the questions that he'd asked. He couldn't help it that he was a curious guy, especially when it came to none straightforward answers or ones that seemed to be hiding something. Hearing her question for him had cause Chrono to sigh. Now she was asking the more borderline personal questions to him. "Self defense, there's something I need to do and I want to make sure that I can handle it myself." He explained briefly, pausing slightly then adding. "I could go into details, but you'd have to share more about you younger sibling."
There was a lot to Illiana's world, a lot more than he had been expecting. Monarchy, sister worlds, a lot more complex than the simple idea that he had in mind. He figured that it being peaceful and tranquil was good enough for him. Upon it being time for Illiana to ask him her next question, wasn't expecting another question about his sister. He probably should've thought given the way that this was going. "A sister complex? No, I don't have a sister complex." He was quick to deny that upon realizing what she meant by that, there was even a have way to further his statement. The reason that they seemed to be so close to one another had nothing to do with it being a complex and it was not a reason he was going to share if not asked. "Now that that's cleared up, for my question. Do you have any siblings?"
Putting it simply, Chrono was just confused by the answer he was given. She...was a Lieutenant General? There was a couple of reason as to why he found that hard to believe, the primary one was how she acted most of the time. It was very hard to believe that a Lieutenant General would act the way that she does. A part of him almost felt sorry for whoever it was that she was in charge of. "Okay." Chrono noticed how much she seemed to be enjoying this. "What was your home like?" She'd asked a personal question about him, so why not do the same.
It was simple enough to understand as well as being fair. Her first question was simple enough. "No, Tinarah is my only sibling." Simple question, simple answer. Now as for what he was going to ask her, there was one thing that he'd recently heard that he was wondering about. "Okay, why did Take call you a Lieutenant General?" His hands were idly placed into his pocket as he waited for the answer to his question.
Having been preoccupied with the rope, the scrap of paper, and the impromptu flashback, Chrono hadn't noticed or realized that Illiana had been reading the it over his shoulder. When she did finally speak it, he was completely caught off guard by it and turned. Turned just in time to see the crab guy fall flat on his face as Illiana retracted her umbrella. Chrono internally sighed at this. "Sure, I suppose. Long as I can ask some questions afterwards." If he was going to answer questions likely about himself, then it was only fair that he would be able to do the same afterwards.
Everyone from both teams had been able to reunite without too much issue, so they should be able to head back with no trouble at all. The roar of an Ursa quickly changed that mindset and with its tremendous weight when it landed had caused the ground to shake, making it harder to instantly retaliate when ran off with one of his teammates. Arian too, but he wasn't much of a concern for Lazuli. By the time he could grab hold his weapon, the grim was already out of range of his swords gun mode. Some strange woman had arrived, having dispatched the Grim that had carried off Auburn and Arian. She'd called herself Noire and was the one that Qrow had been waiting for. Which did mean that she was relatively on their side. Relatively was the key word there as both her introduction and how she'd placed a gun to Qrow's head said other things about her. "Now, now, maybe we should egg her on until after we've made sure that our teammates are okay." Lloyd did have a point, but Lazuli didn't think that they, with their varying degrees of experience, could take on someone like her who was specifically sent here to ideally be of some assistance.
Just as Chrono had put the cut piece of rope down and was about to start walking around the deck of the ship, his eyes looked up and saw a piece of paper, burnt at that, falling in front of him. He held his hand out so it could land there and brought it up to his face to read it. Reading the note didn't bring back any fond memories for Chrono and it only got worse when he got to the point regarding the whoever wrote this mother shielding them. That was the point in which his hand had started trembling. Vivid images had resurfaced all at once. His mother telling him to hide, watching his mother's murder taking place right before his eyes and lastly, his hands being stained red in her blood as a result of his futile attempts to keep her alive. Because of this, Chrono had started taking deep breaths to calm himself down. His hands were clenched tightly to combat the trembling. A tactic that was slowly working. A couple of seconds had passed and he was relatively calmer than he was before. Remember this is why you left to train. To find out who or why his mother was murdered and, if need be, get even.
Kel was honestly impressed that they had managed to get to Little Rodentia without getting lost. The sign did help to confirm that they actually had gotten to the right place after all. The next step was to find the person that they were supposed to be interrogating, to which Kel took a quick look to refresh himself on what Duke Weaselton looked like. When he was certain that he had memorized what he looked like, Kel looked up and started looking around to try and find him. He'd done this right as Luna had gone up to a weasel that just happened to be Duke Weaselton himself. Kel approached him soon after Luna did, adding in, "We promise that it won't take too long."
Speak of the devil. Rather a devil as it actually was. Just as the words had left Lea's mouth, the door to the hideout was knocked down right before all of them. First assumptions being that an enemy had found them, Vallus had readied himself for a right rather quickly. His posture changed upon seeing that it was just a loud man that Lea knew for some odd reason. With further introduction, Finlay was indeed quite the character with the variety of accolades that he himself seemed to be very impressed with. If the cycle of introducing oneself had begun again, then he might as well . "Vallus, that's my name." He was certain that he didn't have a title and even if he did, it would've been taken away from him by this point. "Got anymore 'hideouts' in mind?" Vallus had actually made the air quotes motion when said the word "hideout". If Lea did have another one in mind, then hopefully the door to that would be stronger.
Chrono had no intention on suddenly relying on Illiana as a shrink, especially when he knew next to nothing about her to begin with. He did take a sip of the tea she had provided for him and spoke after putting the glass down. "Kinda hard not to, but I'm not going to get into details. I barely know you after all." He could've said more, but not only did he not feel like doing so, there wasn't much else that he wanted to say in the first place. When they were address by the captain and she made their position very clear on the ship. Not wanting to be thrown into the brig for an undetermined amount of time, Chrono did the smart thing and responded with a simple "Yes Ma'am." Tensing up as he said that too, though said tensity only last for the duration of the captains focus at them. Once she turned away, Chrono very quickly and noticeable relaxed from his posture. He stayed like that just long enough to hear that they had lost someone and the aftermath of that realization. Everyone had gone their own ways and Chrono had walked towards the lifeline of Mister Arrow to examine it. Making a mistake was possible, but this was something to keep people alive. Such tasks would usually cause whoever working on them to take extra precautions to ensure that something didn't go wrong. Chrono really just wanted to see for himself how the lifeline became undone. He grasps the line and ran his free hand down, closely examined the rope. He found where it had come undone and further down the rope he caught something else. The point where his hand hand currently stopped at was where the rope looked to have been cut by something sharp. Chrono was surprised to see this and yet he knew that he couldn't tell anyone. Not without some evidence or knowing who did it. He was already an newbie to this ship which wouldn't help back any baseless accusations that he made. It'd make things worse, probably start something and get himself thrown in the brig.
Zephyr stalked into the building shortly behind Dylan, his mind being elsewhere for the most part. Mainly regarding that strange guy he briefly spoke to back at the plaza. Everything about that guy brought up more questions that there was weren't really any answers that he could come up with to any of them. If the guy actually did how up here then maybe he could get some answer, maybe. But did he really want the guy show up though? Finally giving up on trying to think through that with the limited information that he had, he focused back onto reality right in the middle conversation between Kara and Dylan. Even half paying attention he managed to catch the gist of what was going on between the two of them. Dylan had a secret friend, they were going to see him, which could very well get them killed. He can hit people? That sounded like it would get them killed faster if anything.
Chrono was among the growing amount of people that were concerned with what Take had said in reaction to being called out by smiling. Before he could go see if he his friend was alright, Aria had gone ahead and done just that. Now it was just him, Illiana and Gylde. "It's Chrono." He said, pondering the idea of drinking tea. Other than how out of place it seemed to be drinking tea on the middle of the ship, it was a good idea for him to attempt to relax somewhat. At the very least relax his mind. "Sure, I suppose. I'll take some tea."
Two of their officers had gone missing and they were to interrogate the ones who had might know what happened to them. Sounded simple enough despite not knowing much about how to interrogate. Something about a good cop and a bad cop? Whatever, they could figure it all out when they got there or along the way. Kel briefly skimmed through the file that was handed to them specifically, momentarily surprised to hear someone else say his last name at that. With the objective being given to them they headed towards their destination. "Maybe someone wanted them out of the picture. They could've gotten annoyed with all those parking ticket thing." Kel said. 200 of those things was both impressive and a bit much.
2 points of AP and 1 point of HP for Chrono As well as the Combo Plus Ability
The brief respite after dealing with the heartless was very short lived as a result of the star that had gone supernova behind them had turned into a full on black hole. Just hearing the word "black hole" was enough for Chrono to firmly grasp the life line that he had attached to himself prior. It couldn't have been the first time that this crew has dealt with this situation with the way that the captain gave out orders. Amidst the cheering from the other crew mates, they were given time to rest. "What do you mean Lieutenant General?" That being the first thing Chrono was curious about on the account of Take had said that to Illiana of all people. Chrono then took noticed of the weak smile Aria had given him before her legs seemed to just give out from under her. "You sure you don't need some help?" Regardless of whether to not she took it, he felt like he should at least offer to help.
The lack of any out of nowhere time distortions made it harder for Chrono to dodge the attack from the air pirate. Despitr guarding the attack as best he could, it was still a heavy blow that was felt throughout his body and had sent him back a bit. Chrono ignored the pain and went back on the offensive. Take had struck down the air pirate that had attacked him just as Illiana and Glyde had arrived out of nowhere. It'd be better to ask where they had been. A near miss from a pirate had recentered focus and he retaliated with an attack of his own before it could get too far away. Following up on that with a quick spin of his keyblade, Chrono stabbed it through another pirate that had tried attacking him from behind. Good thing they weren't the sneakiest of things. HP: 11 AP: 0/16 (2 Pirates) MP: 12 2 pirates left
There was an odd sensation when the pirate hearless went to attack Chrono. With it being in the heat of battle, he didn't notice it when it had occurred, but when the attack had happened everything around Chrono briefly slowed down and he was able to dodge the attack with ease. Looking to see where the attack had gone, Chrono caught a glimpse of what looked to be a faded version of himself vanishing as a result of the attack. Finding the to be odd, like really odd, Chrono made a mental note of that before turning his focus back on to the heartless. The nearest two for him to attack both happened to be pirates, both of which distracted by Take's sudden burst of intensity. Providing him with the perfect chance to sneak up on them and strike. Those two heartless were taken down easily, but Chrono really did hope that Take would be okay presuming those heartless took to his aggression and all attacked him. HP: 30 AP: 0/16 (2 Pirates) MP: 12
