It seemed like neoshadow heartless and Darkball heatless were still around him. A neoshadow Heartless had started to run up to him. He ran toward the neoshadow heartless, blade in hand, and attacked. The neoshadow heartless had fallen in matter of seconds. Once the neoshadow heartless was vanquished, he looked around and spotted heartless all around him. For some reason there seemed to be more around him then normal. This left a few possibilities. One was that everyone had somehow died. While this was possible it was the most unlikely case. The other option was that most if not all the others had grouped up somewhere. The heartless were getting smarter as the battle went on and he thought that they would continue do do so for the remainder of however long they had left fighting this crazy man known as uniform. If the others were indeed grouped together that only met a few things. One was that the heartless were now going to take out thos who stood by themselves like him. It was far easier to take down one person then it was a group of say two or three people. if people were not grouped together that met that there were rather far from him like on the other side of the island. Staying in one place was the only option he had at the moment and was probably going to be the only option for some time. Well there was only one thing left to do which was to continue fighting. From what he could tell the heartless were dwindling slower then before which again met something happened were someone was not fighting or people were dead. He was not trying to think about possible death of the others at the moment as there was nothing he could do for the moment. As he was looking around, a group of three neoshadow heartless had come up behind him. He felt something behind him. He then turned around and immediately jumped back. He sighed and then grabbed his weapon tighter and took down the three neoshadow heartless. He looked around for any more heartless that were headed toward him. There were still many that surrounded him. He saw two more Neoshadow heartless standing around. He ran over to the the two neoshadow heartless and immediately took out them both. The last few neoshadow heartless nearby rose from the ground. There seemed to be no time for rest. These ones seemed to acknowledge that there was no way they were going to be able to beat him with pack tactics they were now to few in number. That said he knew that at any moment more neoshaodw heartless could show up. The neoshadow heartless threatened to pounce on him at any second. He would just have to take them. These heartless seemed to not have a end it was almost like a bad dream only that this was real. Apparently these things would just keep on coming to no end. There was nothing he could think of to stop this horde of heartless. The only thing he could think of was to somehow get to uniform and take him out. The only way he could do that was to take out the heartless that were around him. The problem with that was by the he took out enough heartless to get to uniform more heartless would show up. It would be a never ending thing. As soon as the neoshadow heartless and the shadows were gone more just seemed to come. After cutting through the last swath of heartless, he looked around the horde of shadows that seemed to be towards him more now. Stepping forward, slightly the heartless instinctively continued to come towards him. Only to eventually halt a few feet away. They were geting smarter. As they continued walking towards him, the halted horde of shadows began to charge at him all at once. This was not good. He had to guess that another neoshadow was leading them. Only this time he could not see the neoshadow. Of course they would all attack and once hoping to get a upper hand there were maybe 10 so so that had jumped towards him all at once. He tighten his grip on his makeshift knife he was never one for short range combat or hand to hand but he had to learn quick if he wanted to live. The mere flourish of his weapon didn't seem to do much of anything. It was not like he was using a keyblade. The heartless pounced towards him. He seemed to be suddenly swallowed in a dome of shadow and claw. The yellow eyes of the shadows were no longer visible with how tightly packed. They were now trying to scratch, maim and devour him. They wanted his heart. He once again backed up to the palm tree and this time the shadows were closer then before. He managed to take out a few with his makeshift knife which gave him enough room to breathe and fight his own way. He had to get rid of these shadows fast. With already a few down it might be easier. He slightly wondered how he was still alive. There was no time to think about that now tho. He had to act. The other heartless then recoiled from his last attack. If they could feel he would say that they were almost repulsed by the shear force he just showed and now they did not seems at ready to come at him. The risks involved in being completely surrounded by shadows was even greater now. While others may think that this was fun he did not. He knew for a while now that he was going to just have to fight on his own. He was somewhat glad that it was this way. If he went down no one would be able to see it. It was probably suicidal to fight alone but it was not like he had a choice. He still thought that it was netter this way. The shadows were getting smarter and smarter. If this continued they might be able to take him out. He kept himself in a defensive stance as he readied himself for the next attack. The next group began to jump and try to hit hit him again. He was able to move to one side again just in time as he saw a shadow hit the palm tree. The shadows as a result piled up on each other. At this point he was able to take out a few more that ended up on the palm tree with some kicks and the use of his knife. There were still a few shadows left ready to attack him and then beyond them even more ready to join the fight. That said he did not think that he had much of a choice in the manner. Picking on the bigger heartless first before bothering with the smaller heartless seemed like the best idea but no matter what ended up happening he was sure to get overwhelmed once again at some point. He continued his advance through the heartless, stopped by yet another Neoshadow. Looking at it, the neo shadow seemed to have a darker, black color to it, and was far more light on its feet then the others. Leaping towards Him, the neoshadow heartless moved with much greater speed then the other ones, catching him off guard. Barely being able to keep up with this creature, he just barely managed to put his wepond up to defend against the attack. The blade managed to push the claws away from its original intended target area, though the attack still managed to force its way past his guard and strike him in the shoulder. Wincing in pain, the boy attempted to back off from the creature when it went to rake at him with yet another one of its claws. Being able to see the attack coming at him more clearly this time, the boy managed to fall backward, dodging rolling backwards to avoid the attack. When the claw had struck empty air, however, with impossible flexibility the neoshadow heartless then flipped towards the boy, kicking him with both of its dark born feet. It pushing off of him and he being pushed by the attack, the distance between the neoshadow heartless and him had increased. Getting back onto his feet, the boy thought about the opponent before him, wondering how exactly this neoshadow heartless seemed to be stronger than all of the others so far. Thinking about it there was not much he could do about it. As the creature pounced at him, he dodged to the side again, avoiding the first slash of the shadow's claw. Bending its other arm around to try and attack the boy, he managed to cleanly guard against the other attack. Stepping forward, he tried to slash against the Neoshadow heartless, but its body had bent unnaturally sharply to avoid the attack. Jumping back away from he, the boy was not ready to just let the pressure end on this creature and leaped after him. One slash following into another, each attack flowing into a rhythm with each slash managing to take off more chunks of the shadow. At the end of his slashes, the boy hopped into the air, pounding his sword into the ground causing a shockwave to force the Neo Shadow up off the ground. Now in the air, the boy slashed at it a few more times before letting loose one last powerful swing of it, finishing his combo. As the creature was felled, it exploded into a large puff of darkness, leaving nothing behind of what it once was. Several dark orbs began to form around him in the air. Darkball heartless were there. The darkball heartless' bright yellow eyes glowing intensely in the dark setting. The chains hanging off their bodies as the circular bodies made their way towards him, their jaws opened wide as if their teeth were cutting through the air. Making a mad dash towards him, the darkball heartless began chomping and gnawing away as they approached him. There was a the mass horde of smaller heartless starting to make there way towards him. He took a firm step forward and dashed off towards the horde of Shadows he would not let anything happen He was just about done using this back that was a knife. He faced the smaller heartless ready for there next move. Some of the smaller ones that made the occasional swipe at him he would kick back or use his knife. Only the unlucky ones that decided to actually come onto his path were struck down. Three shadows had all jumped at once and met a swift end by him moving fast and striking them as they came for him. They were soon dissolving into dust. He stood there for a moment surrounded by a unknown amount of heartless. He could not even make out what heartless was what. The heartless were more or less one big wave. It was like a sea of blackness. A neoshadow heartless came out of nowhere. The Neoshadow heartless that had rose out of nowhere up in front of him was still there not moving. It looked like it was waiting for something. It most likely was waiting for him to let his gaurd down or turn is back. The purple color of this one was glowing. It was something that he had never seen before. It seemed like the heartless were thinning. He could now see some of the distance again but he was sure that it was not going to last long. He just had to find a way to get out of there. That was when the neowshadow heartless rose his hand and shadows started coming his way. Wasting as little time as possible on the smaller shadow heartless, Andrew was quickly closing the gap between himself and the Neoshadow. He was still using the bark of the tree as a weapon. Trying to dodge out of the way and keep walking slowly towards neoshadow. The purple neoshadow would not allow such things as to die so easily from him. The neoshadow heartless so happened to move and it launched itself at him swiping with both its claw like hands towards him. Dodging out of the way as fast as he could, Andrew rolled to the ground to avoid the attack the neoshadow heartless was now close to the tree that was behind him. He immediately pointed his blade at the ground as he stood there. As he stood there the blade cut through the two darkballs heartless that were there. After the last wave of heartless had been dealt with he thought that the heartless were somehow thinning. He had a feeling that this would not last that long. He knew that soon enough somehow more heartless would come out of no where. No sooner had he thought this then over the heads of some of like five shadows, who at this point seemed weak, rose several dark balls. With a spin, kick and slash of his weapon he took the five shadows out and then the darkballs made there way towards him. With blade in hand, the boy began to make his move towards the side as a large collection of darkballs made there way towards him. Some of the darkball heartless seemed to be far fatter around then the ones he fought before. They were defently different then the regular darkball heartless. Staring at the strange creature, it looked back at him as well, a feral look in its beady eyes as it readied its self for attack. Throwing his almost dull makeshift knife at one of the darkballs. The darkball exploded lunching some unknown purple liquid out from its self. Thankfully it did not get on him. Now some of the heartless around him had a purple glow to them. He was given a short break upon the exploding darkball. After the falling of so many heartless why they still came after him was beyond him. He was felling the massive heartless battle was just beginning. To make matters worse, another darkball had floated its way over to where hr was. Surprisingly none of the heartless had made an another move to attack him again yet. This was despite clearly having the numbers advantage against him. Yes he did just prove time and time again that he was not going down without a fight. It was likely that their strongest force out of all of them was there number not the strength of one heartless but one of many. Him fight or they being gone for good would only last so long. Who made it longer it was hard to say at this point. This one heartless was clearly sporting a cocky look on its face as it looked down upon him. Not to mentioned that it was had floated down and stared him down from its higher position. This heartless was challenging him wasn't it. It had a expressions on its face that said all of this. He would have been all to happy to take this darkball out. To take it in this challenge seeing as it clearly wanted it, but the moment he took a single step forward a good five more dark balls joined in. He let out a sigh. This battle seemed like it was never going to end. It was the battle that went on and on. The never ending battle fighting the heartless. It may have been brief, but still long enough for him to pick up another piece of bark and use that as his new weapon seeing at the last makeshift knife was long gone. He was able to deliver a devastating lunch to one more of the dark balls heartless and sending it flying back into the crowd in a fiery explosion. He was not sure why some of these darkball were exploding but he was going to try and not question it. Gripping his weapon tighter, the boy was ready to make another run at the darkball swarm that was ready to attack him. It had appeared that he somehow had managed to get the darkballs to slow down. They were slowed down for now but he knew that they would attack soon. I think that something set in the future would be fun. I played with the idea myself, but a far as plot I don't really have one at the moment. I also think something Sifi would be interesting.
AJ faced off on the sand like floor of the island ready to battle the darkball heartless. The area was not all that wide enough for him to fight that well but he was going to have to make due with what he had. He had gotten himself surrounded by these darkball heartless so he was the one that was going to have to get himself out of it. He slowly drew up his blade ready to use it. All the while, he was holding the darkball heartless firmly in his gaze. He turned his neck from left to right and back again looking for the perfect way to attack. He shrugged his shoulders, smiled, and slowly brought one foot behind his back and stood in a defensive stance. The fight was on. He rushed at the darkball heartless. He dipped and weaved right as he was about to reach the darkball heatless and slashed downwards with the knife in his hand. The darkball heartless was able to doge out of the way. He was quick and uppercut slashed at the darkball heartless once again. The darkball heartless sfloted to the right just enough and the blade passed by the darkball. Before he could respond with a follow-up, the darkball heartless swiftly spinned at him, knocking the wind out of him for a moment, and stunning him for a brief moment. He was able to make quick blow for for another attack and the darkball heartlessfloted there. With a simple sidekick into the darkball heartless he sent the darkball heartless back a bit. He followed that up with a quick rising uppercut to the darkball heartless. From the corner of his eye, he could see many of the smaller shadow heartless sinking into the ground and heading right for him. He dashed back and began to sprint far from the heartless. He whacked his way through the wave of minor heartless trying to reach the other combatants. He noticed that fighting the once adament heartless seemed relatively easy to him now. He kept moving around until an neoshadow blocked his path. He froze in place, backing up a bit. He was still in the same area and only moved so that he was not hit by the masive heartles wave. He stuck down with his sword and missed. He manage to race around behind the heartless before hitting the heartless with a kick. Doing massive damage and causing the heartless to finally disapear. With having managed to destroy a large swath of heartless, he looked around of an opening to run through to take get away from this horde. Unfortuntly there did not seem to be any as there were still heartless everywhere. With blade in hand, the boy began to look around at the heartless. Of course, in front of him to start with was two more of those neo shadow creatures. Regardless, he began to ran at them, and the Neo Shadows in turn charged at him. The first of the Neo Shadows seemed to flop down to the ground, and began spinning at him. he was unsure of what was looking at, but the heartless seemed to be more like a wheel of raw slashing power that he wanted to not deal with at all. And so, as the spinning heartless moved towards him, he jumped over the heartless and did a back cut with his weapon. He then blocked the next attack as another of the Neo Shadows jumped into the air. Bringing its claw down close to him. Swinging his blade against the air, the slashes soon grew in size as the two neo shadows were instantly dispatched of. Moving through the horde, the boy got in a guarded stance as yet another Neo Shadow leaped at him. As the Neo Shadow had charged him, the boy stepped backward, immediately evading the first of the attacks from it. However, this way not enough as the Neo Shadow began to spin around, rushing into him and striking into unguarded self. The wind being knocked out of him, as the neo shadow's foot knocked into him, the boy skidded backward. Putting up his hands again, the heartless moved towards him with its claws, raking them over his arm causing a large cut to form across it. Wincing in pain, he looked for an opening against the heartless he was fighting, though the creature was moving much faster than usual and was unrelenting in its pressure. Trying to evade the attacks, the boy kept moving side to side. Punching forward, the boy struck the heartless's claw, with his wepond. He was able to destroyimg the claw entirely. Moving in closer to the creature, he then slid into it with his fist striking dead on into the creature's gut. As he forced the creature back, he then delivered one powerful roundhouse kick to the Neo Shadow's head, causing it to lurch to the side before being destroyed under the damage it had taken. He watched as a small group of drakball heartless come out of no where and ended up floating in front of him. They tilted their heads, looking at the sky aimlessly as they rose like black ink from no where to the leveled plain. They looked to him with intense glowing eyes. Their bent teeth showed. One of the darkball heartless jumped towards him, prompting him to tilt his head up as he watched the darkball hearless come towards him. The heartless looked down immediately and made a mad gliding dash towards the man. He remained in place as he watched the heartless approach him at an alarming speed. As the darkball heartless prepared to spinn away at his face, He quickly stabbed the darkball heartless by it's head causing it to flail. He glared at the creature as he jumped into the air, the darkball heartless' head still in his palm. As he jumped back down, he swung down his hand, slamming his palm and the heartless' head with it. Now that it was unable to escape becasue of the countless heartless infrount of him. With a heavy swing, he attacked another darkball heartless. The rotund heartless was caught unaware and he threw the darkball heartless into another one. He sent the darkball heartless into it companion. The darkball heartless would at least would take some damage. As much as he wanted to say they were getting close to finishing up their fight here, it was hard to convince himself of that. He looked around and noticed that there were just begining the battle. He fired off a another strike to a wayward darkball heartless. He took a swing at another darkball heartless, taking it out and looking around. It seemed kind of strange how there were so many enemies and yet they did not just completely overwhelm him all at once. It had appeared that he somehow had managed to get the darkballs to slow down. They were slowed down for now but he knew that they would attack soon. It seemed that the stopped darkballs were not going to stay stopped. Taking another deep breath, and ready for the onslot that was sure to come from the darkballs and shadows. With his wepond at the ready the boy charged forward with swift speed rushing towards the darkball heartless. before they could do anything. With a single cut nothing seemed to happen at first, only for the keyblade master to then immediately strike with yet another swing of his weapon the darkball exploded. Another darkball show up this one looking regular size and he took this one one fast too. After taking a few more swings of his blade the drakball heartless was gone. He soon found himself surround by Neoshadows. There was an almost noise to all the battleing. He did not think that a battle fighting heartless could be so load. It could hear Magic going off and keyblades hitting things off in every direction. Unknown to him heartless where coming up from behind him too. They seemed to be climbing over the palm tree now. Looking forward. He could spot heartless making there way towords him all he did was stand there. He knew that if he did not do something soon he would be surrounded by more heartless in a manner of minutes. He was sure it would happen soon. He did not see a signal person in the mist of all this chaos of the battle. Did they leave him or where they somewhere out there? It did not matter. He could see the light of different spells going off. Fire and lightning bolts colors filled the sky. Sooner or later he would most like get hit by a stray spell or something it was only a manner of time. Puffs of black and purple smoke filled the sky making harder to see anything. The heartless that where behind him were still getting closer. A storm was here pieces of wood flew past him and he he would not be surprised if a large palm tree flew past him. At this point he could hear voices but could not make out what they were saying when there was a battle going on. From what he could tell there was more then one which met that he was right that the others were here. Where they were he could not say but it made him feel a bit better. Soon the heartless that where behind him was about ten feet or so from him. The heartless that he could see were still making there way towards him. A Neoshadow came up behind him and he did not see it. Moving to the side just at the right moment the Neoshadow went fast first into the tree taking some bark with it. The Neoshadow then turned and faced him. He still did not have his keyblade summoned so he could not use that for the moment. The Neoshadow then lunged at him and he gave it a good kick sending it back into the palm tree. Then then continued giving it a few more kicks until the thing disappeared. He looked back forward and heartless were still coming. Looking down and spotted a large piece of bark. Well bark was better then not using any weapon at all. He still did not want to risk summoning his keyblade as he might hurt Aux with the heartless being so close. He then bent over and picked up the bark. Looking at the heartless that were coming he threw the sharp piece of bark toward the heartless like a throwing knife except sideways. He guessed it was more like a frisbee then a knife throw. Some heartless went out in a explosion. After the explosion managed to fell one of the heartless. He wondered when things would be easy. That said when has anything been easy other then some parts of the mark of mastery. It was hard to say if there was still 10'000 heartless or not as there were still so many. He knew that by this point he got ride of 20 or so maybe. After bringing his blade up into a guard, he then blocked the next attack as another of the darkballs came his way. The large darkball in the distance had appeared to be amused by His attemets of attacking. He made a gesture and fortunately for the keyblade wielder, there weren't any other darkball heartless of that massive of a size. He did not want to deal with another exploding darkball heartless but it looked like that was not a potion. Instead this time he choose to play the numbers game and had the smaller darkball heartless come towords him. Eight darkball heartless were sent his way, all grouped up to make it so that he would not be able to take them down in one strike. He knew that he was ruining low on energy he felt tired. He would have to rely on his own skills to deal with this threat, which was not too much of an issue as he had done this song and dance before. Not to mention he had a few more tricks up his sleeves. While he thought on this, the darkballs and shadows seemed to merge into the one being. This was not the case but they were so close together at this point they looked like one thing. The darkballs fortunately did not seem all that smart or maybe they were and this was all so he would lower his gard. The darkball heartless was not all that intimidating of a sight by, more strange. No matter the thoughts were pushed away and he went on the offensive and deal blow. It was successful in striking down some of the darkball. His original plan was to strike away at the darkball heartless until it was gone. He had to deal with as many of the darkballs heartless as he could. As they floated his way they had fallen flat on the ground. Now he needed to think of something else while dodging the heartless's repetitive attacks on him. It may have been the same size as him, but its mass made its attacks slow and easy to dodge. Everything around him seemed to be keeping up nearly as well as he was. He was fighting hard he could tell. There still there was hardly an end in sight. They would need to put a lot of work in in order to get any further with this fight. That being said the big threat still loomed over him in the form of the darkball heatless that was clumped together. He would need to deal with this before he was allowed time to relax a bit. Then he might be able to deal with the small enemies. As much as he would like to join the fight reducing down the numbers, left unchecked this could be a problem. As long as he could not get those countless heartless under control he should not rest. be too much of a problem. Though having their numbers cut down by some now seemed to have made it somewhat easier. He could see them start to dart around him trying everything they could do to get to him. After the last wave of heartless had been dealt with he thought that the heartless were somehow thinning. He had a feeling that this would not last that long. He knew that soon enough somehow more heartless would come out of no where. No sooner had he thought this then over the heads of some of like five shadows, who at this point seemed weak, rose several dark balls. With a spin, kick and slash of his weapon he took the five shadows out and then the darkballs made there way towards him. With blade in hand, the boy began to make his move towards the side as a large collection of darkballs made there way towards him. Some of the darkball heartless seemed to be far fatter around then the ones he fought before. They were defently different then the regular darkball heartless. Staring at the strange creature, it looked back at him as well, a feral look in its beady eyes as it readied its self for attack. Throwing his almost dull makeshift knife at one of the darkballs. The darkball exploded lunching some unknown purple liquid out from its self. Thankfully it did not get on him. Now some of the heartless around him had a purple glow to them. He was given a short break upon the exploding darkball. After the faling of so many heartless why they still came after him was beyond him. He was felling the massive heartless battle was just beginning. To make matters worse, another darkball had floated its way over to where he was. Surprisingly none of the heartless had made an another move to attack him again yet. This was despite clearly having the numbers advantage against him. Yes he did just prove time and time again that he was not going down without a fight. It was likely that their strongest force out of all of them was there number not the strength of one heartless but one of manny. Him fight or they being gone for good would only last so long. Who made it longer it was hard to say at this point. This one heartless was clearly sporting a cocky look on its face as it looked down upon him. Not to mentioned that it was had floated down and stared him down from its higher position. This heartless was challenging him wasn't it. It had a expressions on its face that said all of this. He would have been all to happy to take this darkball out. To take it in this challenge seeing as it clearly wanted it, but the moment he took a single step forward a good five more dark balls joined in. He let out a sigh. This battle seemed like it was never going to end. It was the battle that went on and on. The never ending battle fighting the heartless. It may have been brief, but still long enough for him to pick up another piece of bark and use that as his new weapon seeing at the last makeshift knife was long gone. He was able to deliver a devastating lunch to one more of the dark balls heartless and sending it flying back into the crowd in a fiery explosion. He was not sure why some of these darkball were exploding but he was going to try and not question it. Gripping his weapon tighter, the boy was ready to make another run at the darkball swarm that was ready to attack him. It had appeared that he somehow had managed to get the darkballs to slow down. They were slowed down for now but he knew that they would attack soon. After using the bark chipper he used it as a weapon and brought to toward the darkball with a scream. He looked on to the heartless. As soon as the neoshadow and the shadows were gone more just seemed to come. After cutting through the last swath of heartless, he looked around the horde of shadows that seemed to be towards him more now. Stepping forward, slightly the heartless instinctively continued to come towards him. Only to eventually halt a few feet away. It looked like he was just going to be stuck here until he died or the battle was over. He hatted thing about what would have happened if he took the portal to the island. They probably would have walked state into a trap. He was sure that had he gone through the portal it most likely would have much, much worse. They were geting smarter. Continuing his defensive stance now that his only way out was gone. He decided that going after some of the bigger heartless might be best. That said he did not think that he had much of a choice in the manner. Picking on the bigger heartless first before bothering with the smaller heartless seemed like the best idea but no matter what ended up happening he was sure to get overwhelmed at some point. He was quite thankful that he somehow had not got himself killed yet. He wished he could be of a little more help to others but with no way of getting to them and no way on them to get him he was and they were out of luck. He knew that he needed to pace herself or he might die faster. slow death or a fast one? He did not think that it was much of a choice. If he was going to deal with the large heartless he could not waste time on the smaller heartless as well. If he tried to do too much at once, he would exhaust himself far too fast and would not be a good thing. There was also the fact he might die. Still only taking out a few heartless at a time was the best option for now. That being said the little guys in the quantity that they were swarming in could still cause issues if they wanted to. They already were for what he could tell as they were the only ones that kept on coming. Guards were everywhere swarming around the City Hall, spears out and ready to use. He was hopeful that they had not tried to use them on him yet. Looking around he could see that Some guards had already fallen on the ground some way away, deep in sleep. The flute seemed to echo from the south one minute, then the north, then the west, and from the east the next, making the men very anxious as they pointed their spears in the direction they thought they heard the music. Hopfully Zephyr was doing well in the clock tower. At one moment the flute stopped playing for a moment. Then the flute sounded off again, this time in a different place all together. "He is moving." That was when Thea said, 'Let me through! Let me in. I want to make sure all my friends are okay so I can stop the flute man if he tries to take them! I am allowed in! I am a mage with Divine Rose!' View attachment 48814 After the last two Invisible heartless were gone one more soon showed up. After cutting through the first swath of heartless, he looked around the horde of shadows that seemed to be backing away from him. Stepping forward with his wepond at his side, the heartless instinctively continued to back away from him, only to eventually halt. The Invisible heartless that floated above the massive heartless floated above the mass horde of smaller heartless. He took a firm step forward and dashed off towards the horde, he ignored the smaller ones that made the occasional swipe at him. Only the ones that had actually gotten in his path were struck down. Of course, the mere flourish of his weapon did not seem to do much of anything and as the Invisible hearless readied its self. Still the number of Invisible heartless was quickly going down and they looked like they could do a lot more damage than the little guys. That being said the little guys in the quantity that they were swarming in could still cause issues if they wanted to. Slowing his breathing, AJ breathed in once, and as he exhaled, time seemed to slow around him as the faint smell of cherry blossoms filled the air. He did not no where the smell came from. From what he could tell This place was dead so any smell was coming from the island most likely. It was that or he was imagining the smell all together. After that there was small cherry pedals that began to fall around him before he shot forward, time seeming to restore to its normal flow as he dashed through the air towards the towering Invisible heartless that was standing there. A serge of adrenaline pumped through his veins as he turned to see what was next. From there he did not miss a beat as he brought his weapon down onto the invisible heartless. The invisible heartless still alive rand a bit away. He was not sure how it lived but it would not matter soon he would just have to go after the invisable heartless. He rushed forward towards the invisable heartless. Through all this he managed to close the distance between himself and the Invisible, the heartless did not seem happy to see him. The invisable Heartless tried to drive its own sword forward but that was easy enough to dodge. He taking out the invisable heartless soon after The battle was going well enough for what it was, one of the darkside heartless seemed to be weakening. The only reason he was able to see the darkside heartless was because it was so big. He could tell that it had certainly been taking damage because of its moment seemed to be slower. This was nothing but a very good thing. Catching his breath, he was a bit taken aback by the suddenness by which he was attacked by the creature. The boy felt a bit weird, having just fought so many but he knew this would not stop. Taking a deep breath, he began to focus on the opponent before him, before back stepping away from the heartless as it attacked him. The darkball heartless continued to put on the pressure. soon another dark ball had appeared behind him, mouth open. Stopping to not be bit by the creature, he stuck his hand out killing the one behind him. Now to take care of the one infrount of him as well. That was when the darkball heartless attacked again. Having avoided the attack by backing up to the palm tree and moving to the side. He looked back and it was time to go on the offensive. It was only for a moment, but the darkball heartless were all clustered up. Without wasting a moment, he seemed to be able to take out a few darkball heartless. A momentary pause and an unnatural stillness from those darkball heartless followed. He moved forward slightly and unleashed a flurry of blows before the one of the darkballs heartless could escape. His combo hitting was successful as the one of the darkball heartless faded into darkness. View attachment 48813 He was still fighting behind the countless hoard of heartless. He was taking as many out as he could. The hoard of heartless seemed to open up for a moment and we was able to see out. He could see someone running around and being crazy. This person was probably more or less stupid. The person first stopped and stood atop a tree. This person then made there way over to another person. At first he did not know who this person was then he spotted the crown on there head, Luna he thought. Then there was still the thought of who this mad person was running around. Shortly after he spotted a green light and thought curing people. The person Then ran off and green light followed soon after. Who ever this person was they were not that smart. They kept running around healing people. After some time he knew who is was. There was only one person that could be that stupid and that was Ananta. Soon he spotted her Skipping over to him, she then pointed her keyblade at him before she fell to her knees. She was healing him but there was the fact that he did not need it. So far he had taken little damage so he thought that it was unnessacry. He watched as Ananta stood back up and run off again. How she got to him was beyond him seeing that he was completely surrounded by heartless. It was a wonder how Ananta did not die making her way to him and away again. Well what ever the case was it did not matter. His window that he was looking out soon closed and there was no excape once again. A large heartless then came out of nowhere and it was a big one. With his escape now gone once again he had the only option of fighting. The floating heartless was holding a sword of some sort. A large heartless loomed over him. Oh this was not good. He set his sights on the Invisible heartless that floated above the massive heartless floated above the mass horde of smaller heartless. He took a firm step forward and dashed off towards the horde, he ignored the smaller ones that made the occasional swipe at him. Only the ones that had actually gotten in his path were struck down. The invisible heartless had just been floating there watching the young keyblade wielder approach it with the usual blank expression that most heartless wore on their face. Not showing any clear signs of emotions, but there was the sense that it was looking at him. There were not any heartless of massive size that the Invisible could just wave his hand and heartless would attack him. This invisible heartless was a leader of some sort. His eyes scanned the heartless mass before him. The invisible heartless attack him with its sword. He was just able to get out of the way if he was not careful the invisible heartless would kill him faster then he could blink. The invisible heartless grabbed the sword it had and came at him once again. Slowly the invisible heartless descended down til it was practically floating a mere inches off of the ground. It seemed to want to see the look on his eyes when he went out. The invisible heartless responded by raising it's blade another attempt to strike, but this time its attack was parried into the ground, causing the blade to get stuck. The moment was seized and he went for the head of the invisable heartless. Soon it was dead. From the corner of his eye, he could see many of the smaller shadow heartless sinking into the ground and heading right for him. He moved back and began to stand far from the heartless as he could. He whacked his way through the wave as they mad there way towards him. The heartless were trying to reach him still desite his fighting style. He noticed that fighting the once adament heartless seemed relatively easy to him now. Was it something to do with becoming a master? Regardless, he felt he had grown as both a keyblade wielder and as a person. He kept moving until the large darkball blocked his path. He froze in place, backing up a bit at the size of the above average darkball heartless. He backed up and use his back ended up next to the same palm tree. While he wasn't the fastest, he thin he could manage to race around behind the heartless before hitting the heartless with his knife. The power of the knife did a number on the darkball heartless, doing massive damage and causing the heartless to decrease in speed. Seizing his opportunity, he unleashed a quick torrent of slashes before the darkball heartless finally dispersed. He continued to look around for any of the massive darkball heartless he had never seen before before backing up slowly. His back eventually hit something, as he was stunned before turning around. and saw that it was still the palm tree. With his slashing of heartless having managed to destroy a large swath of them. It would do him no good to try and destroy every last heartless that was here and instead it was better to slowly destroy the ones in front of him to systematically lower their numbers. Perhaps at some point he might see the others and they would then try to destroy some. Through his combined efforts he would be able to get through this swarm of heartless with no problem. Of course, in front of him to start with was two of those darkball heartless shadow creatures that he had run into before. While he was fast enough to not get hit he was not taking any chances. At this point some more darkballs formed a swarm behind him. Regular shadows were far slower in comparison to their more matured versions. As such, he could not just run past the darkballs and expect to continue fighting them. More to the point, he could not actually just kill them in an instant either, as they had proven to be more difficult to actually land a blow on then their smaller counterparts. It seemed that the stopped darkballs were not going to stay stopped. Taking another deep breath, and ready for the onslot that was sure to come from the darkballs and shadows. With his wepond at the ready the boy charged forward with swift speed rushing towards the darkball heartless. before they could do anything. With a single cut nothing seemed to happen at first, only for the keyblade master to then immediately strike with yet another swing of his weapon the darkball exploded. Another darkball show up this one looking regular size and he took this one one fast too. The heartless were destroyed in an instant, unable to take the raw force of the attack, and dissipated back into the strands of shadow they were made of. He was staring to get the grove of this battling thing but he knew that he was getting tired. With that some of the heartless were now gone. He knew that he would be be able to cut through the heartless even more easily than he had been before, and started to run headfirst into the on coming mob. There was still a gap between him and the next larger darkball heartless, meaning that he would have to try and make his way further through the battle at hand. There was more fighting to be had before he could ever make it over to the largest darkball yet. Frustrated about not being able to get to that large darkball heartless. He brought his attention to the closest darkball to him. He readied himself and the darkball flew at him stapping his knife into the darkball. He began to spin it over his head before throwing it straight at another darkball that was popping somewhere between him and the largeest darkball yet. He watched as the darkball heartless flew through the air before hinting the ground and disapearing. Perhaps hhe should have thought things through before throwing a heartless into the air. Spinning himself aroundshe searched around for anyone that was familiar. He still was not quite able to see anyone. He was a keyblade master but yet he felt no different. he was ready for more darkballs. Strike after strike that the darkballs did he dodged the darkballs as the came close. He was not sure how much damage they could do to him but he was not about to find out by getting hit. The largest drakball looked ready to try and kill him. Through all this he managed to close the distance between himself and the large darkball. He did not worry too much about the Iarge darkball as soon he was sure it would be gone. He knew that the moment that he stopped moving left to right and back again there would be an attack again. He did not want the battle to come to him as it was easier for him to take out things slowly to the side. So he just made sure that he kept on was still hopping around so that if they did attack he would be ready. He was sure the heartless would miss if they attacked. After that he took the makeshift knife and drove it forward into where the heart would be if this darkball was a person It was hard to tell being that it was a floating orb but he did his best. The Heartless tried to fight back but it was hopless for it.
