"Fine," Edward growled, gathering all his strength to stand upright. "Do as you wish, Hannah. I've had enough of this." He caught Van Helsing's eye and nodded his head toward the door. "Don't we have to kill the devil or something?" he snapped, and left the room quickly.
Edward fell on his hands and knees for a third time. "Let Hannah... explain herself first or I will rip this man's throat out..."
Edward started, anger rising in him. He felt his werewolf instinct start to flow through his veins once more, and found it almost impossible to control himself. He doubled over, a low growl escaped his lips. I don't understand, he though visciously. What the hell is going on here?
Edward was shocked when Hannah nodded. "I don't think so," he snapped, scolding himself mentally for almost growling at the man. "Hannah is fine with us... with me, so you can explain yourself or get out."
"Excuse me?" Edward snapped, letting go of Hannah and standing to face John. "Sorry, but if you're just going to spout bullshit you can get out of here and leave us to our business."
"It's okay," Edward whispered, holding her a little tighter. "Tell me later." He tried his best not to let Hannah squeeze the burning on his chest and cheek.
"I'm not forcing you, Hannah," Edward muttered quickly to Hannah before he looked at John and glared. He did not have a good feeling about the man... there was a vibe around him that made him want to push Hannah behind him and tell him to leave.
"Tell me what's wrong," Edward asked, ignoring Van Helsing's and Jinx's stares and attitudes to leave. "Please."
"Are you alright?" Edward asked Hannah, putting an arm around her shoulder to help her sit up. "What happened up here after they took you?"
Edward entered the room, ready to kill anything in front of him. He saw Hannah on the floor and began to rush over to her. Van Helsing stood in front of her and drew his gun, however. "Control yourself before you get near her, Edward," he stated, pointing the gun at him. "Calm down." Edward growled and considred ripping out Van Helsing's throat as well, but forced himself to stay calm... Cool it, he thought, and his hackles were no longer raised. She needs my help... I've got to stop this, no matter what the moon looks like... He shut his eyes and tried to breathe evenly. He could finally feel his body returning completely to normal, his face full of deep cuts and his chest covered in blood. If there was a mirror around he wouldn't have recognized his own appearance.
Edward tried to calm down as Jinx ran up the stairs, Van Helsing followed her, and Beatrice ran to the Lexi and her saddlebags. He slowly transformed halfway back to himself, unable to fully transform and untransform yet. He looked at his hands and his chest, now covered in his and Verona's blood. He saw the chunk of her throat and remembered the feeling of it between his teeth... and bent over to wretch on the stone floor. Recovering a moment later, he was just starting to feel the pain in his face and chest where the bride had ripped open his skin with her talons. Then he heard Aleera pinning Hannah to the wall, and her cry of pain. He could feel in the werewolf instinct run uncontrollably through his veins. "No..." he croaked, but it was no use. The fur returned to his body and he gave a piercing a howl, running up the stairs to help Hannah.
Edward ignored Van Hesling and slid down the pillar, pinning Verona against it still, crunching bits of stone all over the corridor. He picked her up by a clawed, furred hand and smashed her against the nearest wall, knocking all the wind out of her. "It's unwise for a powerful werewolf to care for a vampire," Verona managed to choke out. "She belongs to Dracula n--" Edward cut off her sentence with a loud, deep, piercing howl. Verona manged to free one of her hands and slash her claws at his cheeks, ripping deep lines across his face, almost catching his left eye. He howled again, and, with whatever instinct was now hot in him, grabbed Verona's throat with his jaws. She screamed, but he tightened his grip, making her skin crack and blood rush from her mouth. "S-stop..." she tried to speak, but Edward clenched his teeth in deeper. Edward pulled away, taking half of Verona's throat with him. Van Helsing turned as Edward spat out the gory piece of flesh and howled. He fired the rest of his round of arrows into the thrashing, writhing Verona on the ground, and she was still.
Edward growled, seeing Aleera head for Beatrice. He lept at the bride, catching her midair and knocking them into the nearest pillar, scattering the floor and everyone on it with bits of stone. He howled as she tried to rip her claws along his chest, and he struggled away from her enough to only have her nails scathe the surface of his skin, which was breaking free of its clothes to transform into fur. "Edward!" Van Helsing cried, and the werewolf looked down at the man firing at Verona as she tried to escape his range. "Not yet! You need to control yourself!"
"I will be once we find her," Edward muttered, covering another growl. He had a sudden urge to get down on all fours and run, but controlled himself. They reached the doors and went inside. "You ladies should go and meet our guests," Dracula said to Aleera and Verona. "And try your best not to end up like Marishka, understood?"
Edward's face slowly faded back to normal, and he shook his head uneasily. "Do you know the way or something?" he asked Jinx, getting shakily to his feet.
Edward looked up at Jinx, fur starting to form on his face and his eyes bleeding to a dark red. His growling stopped, however, and his clothes stopped trying to bulge out of his shirt. "Y-you're.... right..." he managed to say, yet he was still unable to move. "What am I... going to do?"
OOC: OMG its angelyn- y- poo!!! lol YESSSSSsssss!!! "I didn't think--" Edward tried to speak, but a sharp, fat bolt of white pain shot up and down his spine, sending him on all fours against the stone bridge in front of Dracula's castle. "I need..." he tried, but his head was aching like it was going to split open. "...helppp..." he almost finished, but his words faded into a whimper and a small howl.
"Van Helsing..." Edward began as they dismounted Lexi. "I... I don't feel well..." He looked up at the sky, his head spinning for some inexplicable reason... and he saw the moon. It was almost full.
"I see..." Edward spoke. "What do you even plan to do when you get there?"
"Yes," Edward replied, not smiling. "It would be best if you didn't threaten their lives every time you need their help. I mean... you don't plan to kill me as well by the end of it... do you?"
