"No, it was you, because you ran outa the room when i was stood outside it, you saw me, started spluttering, and then ran downstairs crying....If i remember rightly, They were Scotties' toys!" Ada answered...
"Cory's saying he's going, but Harry's trying to stop him..." Ada answered
Ada fell back into her seat, holding her sides..."Those two are even funnier than i remember"
"Yeah....I Could hear everyone talking, but i couldn't say anything... Were they going to turn the life support off? I Heard you and Mum shouting at the healers about it.." Kayla Asked
Ada listened carefully.... "What are they saying?" James asked "Shh, i cant hear if your talking dipship..."
Ada laughed..."Devostated Cory.."
"Do that and i'l tell everybody how you wet your pants last year when i hid the cookie monster and a clown under your bed.." She said grinning....
"Screaming, like a baby screaming.." Kayla answered....
Ada looked at James..."Was that?" "Harry? I D'no, maybe he's caught Cory..."
Ada laughed..."Your too cruel to mickey..."
Ada grinned, then looked back at her drink..."Hmm, maybe i'l wait a while, like on your next date...il come in and tell her.."
"Im not sure, maybe it was my brain going over my past...But yeah, screaming..." Kayla answered, leaning backwards onto her pillow....
Ada heard someone coming down the stairs, then looked at James in the dark. "He's leaving..." "Yeah.."
Ada laughed, then looked at Carrie "You do realise its you he's going to be complaining to in the morning...."
She raised an eyebrow "Watch me.."
Ada lay awake in Lyra's front room, her brother on the floor, her on the couch... "Ada, you awake?" James whispered... "Yeah, think we're the only ones awake?"
Ada grinned "I'd give you some Asprin, but the chances are you'l be really ill....you could die from it if Madam pomprey didnt treat it, and she asks questions"
Kayla's eyes showed recognition..."Hmm,, thats probably why i could hear everything, but not say or see anything..By the way, why was there screaming?..."
Ada rolled her eyes..."Only 'cuz i annoyed you so much,, Remember all the times i used to mimic you, and you'd go running to your mummy...Wonder what your fangiirls would say to that?" She said smiling wickedly..
