just finished adventure time season five AAAAH SUCH A GREAT SEASON and s6 starts in a few weeks. can. not. wait. This is tough. I've never seen a movie that defied my expectations as much as Winter Soldier. There were things I expected to happen that didn't happen, things I did not expect to happen that happened, and things I thought the movie was telling me were happening that didn't happen. Because of this, the experience I had watching the movie was a little junked up. I would need to see it again knowing what the movie is actually doing to be able to decide how much I like it, but objectively I will say that it's good. very good. The main points of contention I have with the movie concern how this affects the future of the MCU. The movie does some incredibly bold things that I never expected to happen here. Basically what I'm saying is my fanboy shock is preventing me from deciding to what degree I like this. I'm not saying my opinion of this movie hinges on everything that comes after, but I need to see how the MCU reacts to the events of this movie before I decide. So for now I'm just going to say "It's good" and "I like it". Though maybe after I've had time to digest this movie I'll be able to give a better answer? clearly my thoughts on this one are less than organized. i'm still taken aback by it all

I mean, on the topic of novels and stuff, books were read to me as a kid, the couple chapters a night before bed type thing, my mom reads books all the time and I've had to read books for school. If environment and upbringing decide what I enjoy, I should love books. Not to mention I read comics like its my job. It's simply not a form of entertainment I enjoy.
