That says nothing about movies as a storytelling medium. It says everything about the competence of the people who make the movie and the fact that movies function entirely differently than books.
missing the point that these are forms of entertainment. entertainment is entirely subjective and no amount of elitism makes one form superior to another.

yes i watched like 30 episodes over the weekend because it is so. good. where the earlier seasons had some episodes that contributed nothing to the characters, almost every episode in s5 is important for some reason.
season 6 starts 4/21. so yeah, season 5 is over.
that's what gets me. his behavior seems like that 'caught red-handed' type behavior but at this point im not willing to risk being wrong and lynch him if he isn't lying i could change my vote later, though for now i'm not going to vote him. but if it comes down to either him or no one, then yeah, i'll switch.
Ok right now nobody has more than 3(?) votes I believe and since this day is about to end we need to decide on someone to lynch. It's one thing if we vote no lynch but if nobody dies because we couldn't decide... well, that's even worse. So. Who's it going to be? I've already withdrawn my vote for Bite the Dust. If he is who he wants us to believe he is, we can't afford to lose him. If he's lying and he's not who he says he is, this will become clear later. I would rather play it safe after the last day ended in disaster than take a chance and lose an invaluable role. I've also already suggested that we shouldn't go after Jiku this early because of her style of play. I did vote for Tail but that was because of the suspicion that he had already garnered and the little "evidence" there was to support it. If someone has any better ideas now is the time to say them because SOMEONE'S GETTING LYNCHED TODAY. Either way we need to come to some sort of consensus, or at least five people do. Someone not getting lynched would put us at an even bigger disadvantage. We can't waste any more time.
oh yeah definitely. It doesn't even have to be an emotional scene but if I'm invested I'll start getting all kinds of feels that are then converted to water in my eyes. Man of Steel is not an especially sad or emotional movie, but I tear up a good three or four times while watching it. Those flashback scenes hit me in a place. that doesn't even make sense.

Revealing a role could be used as a way to assure you don't get voted during the day, but it's basically inviting the vote during the night. Though even knowing a role the mafia may go after another person. And voting for yourself while knowing what happened last time could be an attempt to get people to back off. He would know people would not want to vote for someone who votes for himself, though this introduces all kinds of new underhanded tricks people could try that make this even harder. I'm backing off of him for today. no There are people here that I really, really like and people that I respect and admire immensely, but that's like the ultimate self-sacrificial act that requires insane amounts of... something... and I'm hard-pressed to say I would do that for anyone I know irl even. I know saying that you would take a bullet for someone is cool and all, but that's such a bold thing to do and if I'm being honest, I don't think I have it in me. at least not for anyone I know atm this was fun. hmu with a truth again
I don't think we should vote for Jiku for the time being. Her brand of voting does not attempt to sway others opinions to get a townie killed, and therefore does not present a threat to the active townspeople during the day. If she is mafia, which I highly doubt at the moment, we can afford to keep her alive assuming she continues going down the list. Someone has to be the last mafia standing and if she's mafia it should be her. vote: [Bite the Dust]. He/she(?) was one of the first people to vote no lynch on day one, and has said nothing since. Though despite saying nothing, he has been viewing the thread at almost every instance I've been here, and continued to say nothing until he had no choice. He also added one vote to the person with the most votes atm, Jiku, who's withdrawn style of voting is not indicative of typical mafia behavior imo. Right now we have good reason to think she's town, which would mean he could be attempting to get another innocent voted off. Tail, who was suspected of being mafia early in the game, also voted for Jiku. While I don't think we should wholly turn our votes on him yet, I do think we need to keep this in mind. I also don't think we should vote Senpai for the time being. Despite her suspicious no lynch vote, it was preceded by her saying no one appears suspicious to her. You know what's more effective for the mafia than the town voting no lynch? Getting the town to off one of their own. Now that their advantage has increased after our number decreased by 2, getting us to hold off another day would slow down their chance of winning. While we did lose two people, that did increase our chances of voting for a mafia. This means it's in their best interest to maintain this pace before we start hitting targets. I just don't see that kind of behavior as mafia at this point. i say we take a shot at Bite the Dust for day 2. he's been acting suspiciously and is worth our vote if you ask me. also keep in mind that every night an active, contributing member suspected of being mafia isn't killed is reason to keep those suspicions alive i stg if i see a mistake or something i want to delete or add after posting this i am going to flip
