I think given the results of the last day now would be an appropriate time to take a step back, look at who's still alive, and form any theories or opinions. watched FLCL today guh. My problem with it is that there's absolutely no internal logic to it which very much intrudes on the narrative. This is nice for style and certain entertainment values, but when it gets to the point where what's happening is completely indecipherable maybe you've gone a step too far. I still really liked it. It's one of the best coming-of-age stories I've experienced, if only for it's portrayal of troubled and confused young people, that girl and that main boy. I really liked that girl whose name starts with an M and smokes. I don't know what it is with the couple shows I've watched recently but each one has given me new favorite characters.

I'm in an art appreciation class right now and could not be less happy with it. For the first half of the course I was literally acing everything and then the professor stopped structuring the course and now we just do whatever we haven't done yet and my scores have dropped significantly. I don't need rigid structure but I need some sense of direction. I couldn't even tell you what we do from day to day.

I don't like Wolverine. I think the films should be renamed "Hugh Jackman's Wolverine and his supporting cast, the X-Men" That said, I'm not a fan of X-Men and I don't like the first three films and Origins However, The Wolverine is my favorite X-Men movie maybe tied with First Class. It's just a really good film. edit: i always forget that i like x2. i just automatically write off that entire trilogy but x2 is good.

god i have never felt the need to rewatch a series more than this one not because it was sooo good and i just want to enjoy it again, but because 1 the conceit is so ****ing insane and there are times when i cant tell if they're just dropping the ball big time or if it makes sense but either way they don't do a great job of explaining things at times, and 2 because there's so much stuff going on that you're sure to miss things Spoiler Episode 24. Okay, someone tell me what the significance of the Original Life Fiber is? Aside from it being the origin of all things, why is it so integral to Ragyo's plan? Because when it's destroyed it affects her plans literally not at all unless im mistaken. She didn't need it to broadcast that signal because she does that on her own. Wtffff. And why is it that when it's destoryed the machine it was supposed to connect to (WHICH GOT JACK ALL EXPLANATION I DON'T EVEN KNOW WHAT THAT THING IS) is protected by a field of life fibers? Why? It does nothing. It was supposed to connect to the olf but once that's destroyed i don't see what significance it has and i had a lot of little qualms like this throughout the series where something seems to break all of the rules or just plain doesn't make sense. loved the series but man i feel like some things could have been done muuuuch better. which is why i think a second watch would clear a lot of things up. and goddamn satsuki's one of my favorite anime characters ever
