lets take this one game i don't have for a system i don't have at a time honestly the only thing i consistently hear people complaining about is the oversaturation of Lightning i know very little about the game itself except for people not loving the gameplay. and Lightning. Who, having played D012, I'm already not a fan of.
my expectations are going to be absolutely abysmal because of all the **** talking and i will probably end up thinking its a masterpiece. or at least love it. an alternative title to this thread is: whenever i get a ps3 and play all these games i constantly hear about but haven't played because i dont have a ps3
god the summer I marathoned 5Ds was one of the best of my life. Everything was great until Aporia showed up and then I started losing interest. He just seemed kinda lame compared to the three emperors. Though to be fair I didn't finish it and it's been a while so it may be better than I remember. y'know considering how much I talk up that series I should finish it. I could go on and on about the things I like in 5Ds. And I get a little frustrated that "card games on motorcycles" is like the go-to quip for crazy premises considering 5ds is actually really good.

This. I never use those type of spells because they're boring. Although this could be part of something else entirely, such as the Drive/Style incarnation for 3. I would love to see that. Instead of a Drive or Style, you can choose to give an extreme boost to your magic or attacks for a period of time, changing the way the character moves and such. Basically merging Drives and Styles. Kinda.

that leads to other problems like people reporting rep they dont feel was justified, or they simply dont agree with. and its just more work for staff
Rep systems come with an explination option by default. the problem is people use this to be offensive and explain nothing. or if youre suggesting a system where staff or whoever review the rep before its submitted, well for one i dont even know if that could be done, but it also goes without saying how ridiculous that would be.

XII being like Star Wars is part of what attracts me to it. and so much this. I have a new copy sitting waiting for me to start but I'm hesitant given how massive of an endeavor it would be for me.
when i was in hs we would watch movies during the last week or two of school. after sol's when nothing mattered and nobody cared anymore and most people had exempt final exams. other than that we never watched movies unless it was a documentary or something relating to class
