    that feel.

    you know.
that one you get when someone you admire who took classes in the same field your considering responds to something you sent to them asking questions and seeking advice responds to your message.

and of course you're expecting a lazy answer just to get you off their back. because who has time for that, right?

but you open it and see paragraphs and paragraphs written in response to your question and it feels so nice

i wasn't expecting much of an answer. and when weeks passed and i still did not get a response, i assumed i wouldn't get one. but i just checked my inbox and there it is. sent april 30th. i just wish i had seen this BEFORE THE SEMESTER ENDED GODDAMMIT.

this thread could also be about me gushing over my comments being addressed in multiple videos.
though this seemed a little more important.

well i was hoping that people would talk some before i gave information. guess not

alright guys Jayn is mafia. sorry Jayn

i think we can be pretty sure that godhead/mystic/luminous/whoever/that guy is also mafia based on his reaction to my reveal
and knowing that Jayn is mafia also more or less assures that Beau is mafia. remember what i said in my wall of text about them.

so including the 2 we know and the 2 we can basically be sure of, that leaves one more.

i think it comes down to Cstar or Judge.
seeing as Princess was the other big vote on the day of Jiku's lynch and Jiku voted for Princess seems to confirm that Princess is town.
and i just dont think Bite the Dust is mafia
and everyone else in the game we know is town

@hygue, I know you suspect Princess big time but honestly all signs seem to point to Princess being town.
what are you basing your suspicions off of? that Princess voted for you? people have been doing that all game
other than that Princess hasn't done anything too incriminating from what i've seen

i think people should go back and read my big post. you may find something that could help

    so yeah.
vote Jayn today. vote godhead and Beau afterwards. and then after that (or before if something becomes clear) it's up to you guys because im dead
if you mess up once, we lose. (although if the doctor survives to the end and saves someone that should get you another chance)

so yeah. that's it for me.

    sorry for breaking the game.
though once i'm gone things should get p. heated again when it's between a select few

    ygopro stuff

i played in devpro all day yesterday and here is what i learned

i fugkign suck. tag force aint **** compared to real people
(though i think im gettin okay if i do say so myself)

what i really want to talk about though is Xyz, since this is the first time I've played with and against them.

About Xyz Summon, I absolutely love it. I think it's great and much simpler than any of the previous extra deck monsters. It gives me more freedom over what cards I put in my deck. Not having to have a certain card or type of card to use them is great. This is really nice using a spellcaster deck. There is surprisingly little support for spellcaster synchros.

However. They are SO OP. Seriously. So many of them have effects that immediately give you the game once you summon them. Even the two I use are ridiculously good and shouldn't be legal (though that may have something to do with being OCG). And ignoring how broken effects are, their ATK is WAY too high for their rank. I'm sorry no you shouldn't be able to have a rank 4 2700 ATK in the same turn you summoned your other lv4. That's crazy.

    so what im saying is:
    synchro summon < xyz summon
    synchro monster > xyz monster

and both of those are pretty terrible in their own right compared to what we're getting now
or at least Burton's Batman is.

you're crazy if you think people won't be talking about Nolan's Batman and the MCU years from now.
hell. Iron Man and TDK redefined what it meant to make a good superhero movie by raising the bar in storytelling (TDK, IM) and adapting source material (IM)
that's not to say there weren't good ones before that, but none had quite the effect those did and since then it's been a whole different game.

    who decides if its good
and who decides when its overplayed

for me, hearing anything by katy perry more than once every few months is overplayed because i dont like her music
and im sure some of her fans feel the same way about music i listen to

i could point them to reasons why i think my music is good therefore overplaying isnt possible, but im sure they could do the same thing for her music

and then theres the matter of something being good but just getting tired of it from hearing it so much

music is probably the most subjective form of entertainment. standards like that dont really work

And it was established earlier in the movie that he was becoming more and more dissatisfied with the council and order. For entirely superficial reasons, yes,but his fear of Padme's death, plus his growing hatred towards the Jedi before leaving them, plus everything you said are enough for me to buy what he did. Not necessarily trying to kill Padme, but when that happened I always assumed he was just so lost with everything that he had already done, and since the thing that set him off was Obi-Wan, it seemed entirely reactionary and not logical at all.i think thats the point

see im still not used to something being removed from play not actually being removed from play lol.
they never should ahve brought that section into play. basically a 2nd graveyard.
but yeah that's a good point.

well my name on there is skull joke so if you're ever on or feel like playing lmk.[DOUBLEPOST=1399301512][/DOUBLEPOST]so im going to try ygopro.
as much as i like the idea of duelingnetwork replicating what its like playing the game irl, i would rather be able to play the game without worrying about all that stuff if i dont have to. playing a game irl isn't automatically better.

his "i hate you" as he's burning is bone chilling. as wooden as he always seemed that delivery was great. imo.
and revenge of the sith came out when my star wars fandom was in its prime so its impossible for me to look at that movie objectively and judge it. it's one of my favorite movies. though iv is still my favorite.
    i agree about jedi.
and attack of the clones is the one sw movie that i don't care for. i mean i like it because it's star wars but i always have problems watching it compared to the others

yeah but when it leaves the field it's removed from play, even if it would be returned to the deck. to me that seems like a fair trade.
granted, i've never played with someone who uses the card so i don't know all the strategies that could take advantage of it. and i dont generally play using predefined strategies. i kinda just play with decks with monsters i like using strategies that those use. ie a few spellcaster decks. elemental hero decks. junk etc warrior deck. and stardust dragon deck.
and i should say its been quite a while since ive played ygo and ive only ever played on tagforce. even though i collected the cards i never played with them except once or twice and we had no idea what we were doing. so although i love ygo im vastly inexperienced with playing the game competitively

you should duel me as well on dn thatd be fun

The Avengers isn't a movie with much deep thematic stuff going on. There's some, but it's really just a fun movie that's smart enough to not be dumb and with enough going on to not be insulting. More than any other movie (at the time it came out) it was a comicbook movie through and through. Fun.

And btw, you keep saying profound like people analyze superhero movie in hopes to find truths that will redefine our entire world. That's not what's going on.
People who analyze stories do it to fully appreciate what the story is about. It amplifies the enjoyment for those people.
I don't know how to explain this to a person who doesn't care. I'm not trying to convince you that you should or try and tell you you're wrong, I'm just trying to provide you with an alternative pov.

I'm not really paying attention to the rest of the thread but Trigger's statements are something I felt compelled to address so LEAV ME ALONE MAYBE YOU SHOULDNT MAKE THREADS NO ONE UNDERSTANDS HUH[DOUBLEPOST=1399263915][/DOUBLEPOST]lol 3 people calling out nova at the same time shut up nova get outta here

even i, a person who chooses strategies and types based on the look of the cards, wouldn't play with them.

It's one of those things that get's a pass for having ties to my childhood. And since there's more to YGO than the show (you know, the card game) it can be enjoyed for different things. I can still play and love the card game even if I don't watch the show. When I think of YGO the first thing I think of is the card game, not the show.
And while I don't mind the animation style of the first 3 series (it's so cheesy and absurd that it's part of the charm) I can barely stomach the style of the two most recent series.

It does seem kinda silly when the series first starts but after a while it doesn't. Or rather, it doesn't seem any more silly than whole societies forming their cultures around a card game. And not all of the duels in 5D's are on motorcycles. It's just another way not the new default.
