Emmy nearly jumped when she heard a shout. She looked up to see a man in a lab coat, with a look of suppressed joy on his face. Her head was pounding, and she grimaced at the pain. She couldn't figure out anything of what was happening. Who is that man? And why the hell does he look so cheery? She looked at the others in the room. Were they as lost as her? They looked like it. She wanted desperately to say something, but she wasn't sure what, or even if she knew how. She was frozen in confusion.

Wait, so you're saying your school is right close to where it happened... and they didn't do any sort of remembrance thing at all? >B| Whatever happened to all that "We will always remember" stuff?! Where'd all that go? I find the lack of respect to this tragedy disgusting. I've barely heard anything of 9/11 at all day. All the conspiracy theorists ("truthers", I think they call themselves) and their low, sad attempts at tearing down the government make me sick. I can't stand this day anymore.

Emmy forced her heavy eyelids open, and she lay motionless for a moment as her eyes adjusted to the semi-darkness in the strange room she found herself in. She felt as if she'd been sleeping, and the looming grogginess begged her to go back to sleep, but she somehow knew she shouldn't. Still laying down, she turned her head to the side. She saw several people laying on beds, like her. One was even sitting up. She turned her head up again, and closed her eyes, trying to think of how she got here. But nothing came to her. Her eyes snapped open and she suddenly sat up, nearly gasping for air. Her hands were covering her ears. Her knuckles were white.

Let me clear this up for you. NATO had requested for more troops from several NATO nations (including the US) for the peacekeeping mission in Afghanistan. He has not simply moved troops from Iraq to Afghanistan. Myself, I'm waiting a year before truly judging him. Changes of such a grand scale take time. It disappointed me to see how some people were judging him barely a month after he was in office. On January 20th, I will have a true, strong opinion.

He'd be out the door before he could say pezz monkeys (if I found out, that is). If he told me honestly and showed some remorse, it'd still be over. Just not quite so harshly. If he cheats once, the trust is broken. How am I supposed to trust him when he says "It'll never happen again"?
I can't think of a reason to change it. xD Nor can I think of something to change it to.
