You watch it RIGHT NOW or I'll-... Hai. 8D
Emmy took out her knives. "Don't bet on it," she said with a smile. She pulled the door open, not knowing what to expect from the guards. They didn't even seem to notice that the door was open. She looked back at Angel. "... you first."
Heheh, up here in the true north, our autumns last like three weeks. Then no more bugs. : P To all you silly Britainians, shoe + impact = dead spider.
*lulzy melodrama* We have late fees, but we get to choose whether to rent them for two nights or a week. It's actually pretty rad, once I think...
OOC: It was my bad for rambling. xD BIC: "Easy," Emmy chuckled. "We don't even know if he's there or not." She opened the door just a crack so she could look out. To her surprise, she could see five guards at the end of the street. They looked like they were there with purpose. She cursed. "Spoke too soon..." Emmy slowly closed the door again without a sound and turned to Angel. "My powers haven't surfaced yet." She paused and took a deep breath. "Think we can take 'em?"
Oh, the golden days of no late fees. Blockbuster used to have no late fees up here in Canaduh.... but then..... OH IT WAS HORRIBLE ;~;
Emmy didn't answer for a few seconds. She was still leaning against the big wooden door, but no longer concentrating on keeping a look out. "I don't know," she finally said. "I guess I haven't really had the time to stop and think about it yet..." What was she supposed to believe, anyway? They had all been created by science, but did that eliminate her spirituality? "Whatever saves my ass," she concluded aloud, with a hint of melancholy. OOC: I didn't mean to go that deep... o.o
For serious, go rent it or something. Just tag a parent along for avoiding any silly persons who pay attention to the R rating. :lolface:
Already a thread, silly bogarts.
I'm disturbed, impressed, and disgusted at the same time. Disturbed that she would say something like that about Bay, though she's been on my radio morning show several times and seemed pretty *****y, if you will. Impressed that some of the crew took a stand, and it seems that those three crew members might be speaking for most of the crew. But disgusted that they took such a childish approach to retaliating. She may be an unpleasant person to work with, but that's not the professional way to say so. So I say she may have deserved it, but the crew just made themselves look very unprofessional.
bumpbumpityBUUUMMPBUMP, bumpityBUUUMMMPBUMP, bumpityBUUUUMPBUMP, BUMPITYBUMMMMP "The '59 Sound" by The Gaslight Anthem Well, I wonder which song they're gonna play when we go I hope it's something quiet and minor and peaceful and slow When we float out into the ether, into the Everlasting Arms I hope we don't hear Marley's chains we forged in life 'Cause the chains I been hearing now for most of my life The chains I been hearing now for most of my life Did you hear the '59 Sound coming through on grandmother's radio? Did you hear the rattling chains in the hospital walls? Did you hear the old gospel choir when they came to carry you over? Did you hear your favorite song one last time? And I wonder were you scared when the metal hit the glass? See, I was playing a show down the road When your spirit left your body And they told me on the front lawn I'm sorry I couldn't go But I still know the song and the words and her name and the reasons And I know 'cause we were kids and we used to hang I know 'cause we were kids and we used to hang Did you hear the '59 Sound coming through on grandmother's radio? Did you hear the rattling chains in the hospital walls? Did you hear the old gospel choir when they came to carry you over? Did you hear your favorite song one last time? 8D Glad I could help. :>
Emmy didn't answer for a few seconds, frozen. Suddenly she shook her head back and forth to clear her thoughts. "Oh, uh..." She went back over to the door and pressed her ear against it. "I don't think so," she said quietly. "Hey, do you think claiming Sanctuary would apply here?" she asked out of random curiosity.
Emmy's eyes were locked on Angels (or was it the other way around?), and though part of her wanted to look away, she couldn't. It was like Angel was staring right into her heart. "Th-they..." Emmy tried to respond. "I-I-I..." But she couldn't concentrate on anything else.
Just thought it'd be fun to make you all explode from "omfg cuteness overload".
Emmy raised an eyebrow. "I'm Emmy," she said. "You know, from the lab..." She trailed off, thinking about what Angel said. She didn't quite understand. They were alive, did that not mean that they had lives? "You can't live here," she said softly, kindly. "This is no place to live."
Her... home? Emmy squinted, trying to get a better look at the person on the other side of the large main room. It was one of her kind, one of the Omacron from the lab. "Angel? That's you, isn't it?" She walked a few steps closer. "What are you doing here?"
Emmy nearly jumped as she heard a small voice peak to her. She spun around. "Who's there?" she asked in a low voice. She didn't want the guard to hear, though he probably would have heard the wooden door opening. Emmy was rather hoping he was a dunce, anyways.

Yeah, but with my luck I miss the drama when I get forced to do homework. Woe is me.
