im just saying, it's always the same people who come into threads entirely unprovoked telling people to let things go.
then they tell the same people to let it go again when they respond entirely provoked, acting all holier-than-thou.
    thats kinda *******-ish.

Yeah, this is what I have problems with. But like I said, at this point I'm just going with it. I already don't like so much about this conceptually that I'm more or less resigned to not care and just have fun with it for what it's worth.

While it would be cool to see, I almost hope they don't. What they're doing with Arrow and now Flash is already so much better than what they've done in film that I would rather see a televised continuity all it's own, and separate films not part of a continuity, which is what I've been arguing for some time now. At the end of the day this is all about making money, and with DC undoubtedly having more iconic characters that the general public knows, they don't need to have an ongoing continuity to make the public aware of these characters like Marvel did in order to make money. I mean, Rises was able to compete with Avengers of all things. I guess for characters like Flash and maybe Wonder Woman you might need something to back them up to boost ticket sales, but they're certainly more then capable of supporting a film on their own, it's just a matter of marketing at that point. And this is why I hate that so many of these characters are being introduced in a Batman and Superman movie.
And I still want the Aquaman movie that will change hearts and minds.

but this existing is awesome. i just assumed by now we would never get a 4th

the first 3 are seriously some of the best soundtracks i've heard.
you should listen, whether you've seen or care to see the series or not.

here's the third (my favorite of the 3)

couldnt find the others in full

edit: i just found out the composer is the same one who did Kill la Kill
so that's something. though i would say this is infinitely better and more iconic.

    http://www.comicvine.com/articles/m...atman-v-superman-dawn-of-justice/1100-148808/

we have an official title and logo.

"Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice"

At this point I'm going to stop reiterating my feelings on how they're treating Superman because it's redundant.

I love the title. It's so cheesy and awesome because of it, which is exactly what you need if you're actually going to make something called "Justice League."

so yeah someone should edit the thread title. I want "Dawn of Justice" to be everywhere. i love it lol

It's been a long time since I've read Naruto so if I read through it again I'm not sure this list would be anything like this.

    in no particular order

    Shikamaru
    Sakura
    Orochimaru
    Itachi
    Sasuke

Lately I've started to like Sasuke. I don't know why. I always thought his arc was typical and I did not care, but with recent developments I've started to think otherwise and really like him

    Man this is tough.
It's hard to say and my answer is going to come down really indecisively.
Maybe once I'm fully caught up I would be able to give a better answer. Oh well. Maybe I'll come back and post again once I have.

and i guess be mindful of spoilers.

Well first off my favorite Strawhat is Nami.
She's easily the most useful of them all and I find it both hilarious and sickening that there are people out there who hold to the "she's so useless" criticism that so many leading female characters fall under unfairly. While she's not the strongest of the group, she's no pushover either. She's held her own consistently since early in the series. She was one of the main fighters in Alabasta, and while she did take a back-seat in Sky Island (occasionally becoming a somewhat more "typical" female character, what with getting kidnapped and all), she came back in Enies lobby as yet again one of the main fighters, even taking down a member of CP9. So if that's all that mattered I would stop here. Clearly she's already earned her "I'm not useless" badge, but fighting is not her most important aspect. If anything it's icing. Her navigation skills are absolutely integral to everything that happens, and are her best trait. Without her the Strawhats would not be able to go anywhere, and they would not have been able to get out of all those tight situations they constantly find themselves in. She makes this all possible, without her the Strawhats would be all but immobile. And don't forget the Arlong Park arc.
My biggest complaint is that after Arlong Park her obsession with money makese no sense. Her entire motivation for wanting money was to buy her town back, so once her town is set free, her obsession makes no sense. I wish that would have been dropped altogether because not only does it make no sense, it's a little annoying at times.

After that it's hard to tell who my favorites are. While I like Nami a lot, and while she is my favorite Strawhat, I hesitate to call her my favorite in the series because of just how many characters there are.

Aside from Nami, my other favorite Strawhats are (in no particular order) Zoro, Luffy, and Usopp.
I also really like Brook (obviously). He's hilarious.
I like Ivankov. He's great. And after Impel Down I really like Mr. 2 as well.
Magellan is pretty sweet too. In fact that whole arc is littered with entertaining characters. okay the whole series is but still

Though my favorite villains in the series (at this point) are Kaku and Blackbeard.
I love Kaku. If there were ever a character who I wished didn't have to be a bad guy, it's him.
Only recently have I come to care at all about Blackbeard. I can't quite articulate why, but there's something... awesome... about him, and I can't wait to see what he's up to (please don't spoil it for me lol).

So if I had to give a solid answer I would say Nami, Kaku, and Blackbeard. In that order. Though this could all change once I've caught up, and I may look back at this even tomorrow and not agree, there are just so many characters that it's hard to say.

or "Akito the Exiled" for those of us more English-inclined.

I'm not very familiar with this series. I've seen the first two "episodes," or whatever you would call them, once each and desperately need to rewatch both.

What prompted this thread's creation was my finding this article that states the third episode has been "delayed until further notice." Talk about a punch in the face to any Geass fans who have been waiting for the better part of a decade for new material. The third installment was apparently due out this spring, which I did not know but was curious of because it's been a while and I want more. Oh well.

But for those of you who have seen the first two episodes, movies, or whatever they are, what do you think? Like I said, after only one watch I'm not too familiar with them, but I've liked what I've seen. Wasn't crazy about the mechs at first but boy did they grow on me. Probably the best in all of Geass. And Lelouch not being the main character was a little off-putting at first, and while I have yet to come around to this Akito person, I'm really digging the series itself. Though this is really all I can say at this point. I kinda want to go watch them right now so I can say more.

I don't know every Transformers series but I do know the ones that aired in the US and I have no idea which one you're talking about.
At first I thought you were talking about Animated, which was done in a --

OH you're talking about Cybertron. Or Energon. Both of those used anime for people and cg for robots. Yeah idk why I didn't think of those. They had Garry Chalk.

This may sound weird to some people because 1, I've never met anyone else with this opinion, and 2, because the exact opposite is often his biggest praise, but I never heard Peter Cullen as the ultimate, heroic, benevolent leader, which Garry Chalk totally had imo. Cullen's voice is just so deep and his deliveries always seemed somewhat... sinister. Like I couldn't trust him or something. And he always sounded very impersonal. Not to say that he's bad or that it doesn't work, but when I think of Prime I don't think of his voice.

i like how they almost kill fitz right as he becomes my favorite character in the show

But seriously this season ended so strongly. Which is amazing considering how it opened so incredibly weak.
