From what little i saw it was bad, but it was also worldbuilding which is fun in itself and can be enough reason to just put up with the poorly written characters. of course i only watched the first three episodes so i dont really know

Oh I'm sure lol. Its still dumb, but he more than makes up for it.
And I can speculate reasons for why thats his name, but as far as I know none of it is official and it doesnt change how silly it is.

I have a friend who will literally stop listening to a band, no matter how much he likes them, if they change at all. We used to get into heated "debates" about this but I'm just like "whatever it's your bad opinion" now. What's really weird is that he is a musician and and produces local bands so you would think he would be more open to variety. I understand not liking the change itself and wanting something more in the vein of what they used to be like, that's reasonable I guess, but hating change by virtue of it being change is totally unreasonable.

@DigitalAtlas X-Men is not my thing at all. The only X Men movies I like are First Class and The Wolverine. I know X2 is supposedly good but I still don't care for it all that much because something about that trilogy does not sit well with me, so even if 2 is good I probably would never go out of my way to watch it.

ALTHOUGH I did have to buy a couple issues of All-New X-Men for the Trial of Jean Grey crossover with Guardians and by the end was starting to kinda dig those characters. But other than that I have basically no interest or affection for any X Men characters who aren't McAvoy or Fassbender.

So yeah, I'm not invested in Days at all I just want to see it because at some point I decided I would see every major superhero film in theaters so as to not have regrets years in the future from having missed out. Not having seen Dark Knight in theaters still hurts.
