That actually sounds kinda fun. I may try that in the future. Sometimes I want to play through a KH but don't want to do all of the side stuff but always feel like starting a new file means that's required, so I may try this. about to start Film Z. please don't let me down like nearly every other one has.

excuse me while i gush about fishman island arc for a minute because if i don't say this i'll forget, and i want to remember for the mega op thread. no spoilers I freaking love this arc. It's perfect for being the "return" arc, and even more perfect reading while in the mindset of having been away from this world for a while. After I finished part 1 I went out of town for a couple days and couldn't read, so when I came back it felt like I had been away for a while (while this was cool it kinda ****ed me over on finishing by 6/5). This arc is paced wonderfully. It never feels like it's dragging and I'm always wanting more. It's consistent. What it does even better is showcasing how the crew has gotten stronger over the past few years, while still maintaining a sense of urgency and giving them the seemingly impossible-to-overcome threats that OP always does. You don't want to come back and have the crew getting smacked around, but you also don't want them to not have a challenge, and this arc manages this flawlessly. It also brings back a MUCH-NEEDED and much-missed sense of adventure that OP has been lacking for over 100 chapters. Not to say that those chapters were bad, they certainly weren't, but OP is an adventure series and not sense Skypiea has there been an arc that's just the Strawhats willingly traveling to an island and getting sucked into an adventure that is not detrimental to the crew in some way. It brings a refreshing sense of levity (which was really needed after the heavy stuff of post-war) without feeling inconsequential. It's everything that OP is at it's core, and wonderful for it. Not to mention how world-building it is, as well as answering some questions I've had for a long time (like Arlong Park long). One of the biggest criticism of OP is that Skypiea is pointless, and I have gone out of my way to defend the arc from this criticism, and will likely do the same with this. This arc is the same in Skypiea in that it's simply the Strawhats traveling to an island for the sake of adventure and getting more than they bargained for. It's not the heavy stuff of Water 7 or Marineford, and while these types of arcs are great and make up the bulk of good OP, arcs like Skypiea and Fishman Island define what this series is and demonstrate how much charm it has. I've heard that this arc is not well-liked for being too long, but this is not a problem at all in the manga. The anime has the same number of episodes as the manga does chapters, so obviously it was padded out to absurdity. If anyone is watching OP, I would recommend reading this arc instead. This is a good arc and one worth experiencing in the best way possible.
as a kid i always wanted a gamecube solely for zoids: battle legends
