A history of indie rock icons: Whoever Sings It
After starting out in an abandoned laundromat in Keswick, Ontario, Whoever Sings It found themselves at the top of the the indie rock scene in 2001 with their debut album, That One Album.... The band's latest album, That Other Album..., mixes Ninel Federov's irreverent vocals with modish Brit-Pop to create some seriously inspired crowd pleasers. With standout tracks like "The Song With The Cool Fiddle Solo," the music of Whoever Sings It appeals to indie rock fans and non-indie rock fans alike.

The Spirit happened to be the person with the best counter-argument against yours. The point of the debate section is to form arguments, support them rationally, and consider other people's views. All you've done is state your own, and then call anyone with a different opinion "immature" or "pathetic". Frankly, I think calling a language barrier disrespectful is immature, but each to his own. When you post in the debate section, don't expect everyone to agree with you.

I'm surprised, it actually looks pretty good. I didn't really like the third one at all, and I cringed when I heard that they were making a fourth. But it doesn't look bad at all. The part with Puss made me giggle. XD "...I'll get him later."

About one quater of the entire Canadian population is francophone. Most French-speakers (i.e. French as first language) are from Quebec, though there are a good number of French-speaking communities in each province/territory. But yeah, our official languages are French and English, so all writing on packages, food, and even DVDs must be in both English and French. And I definitely wouldn't be surprised if one day this happens in the US with Spanish.

If a teacher said that at my school, he would probably be joking, and the student he said it to would be laughing along with him. But I don't know how this would be taken at your school. The students sound pretty immature (as high school students are, but you'd think they'd know when to shut up).

If you felt insulted by it, by all means let it be known. I'm not sure something like this should cost the teacher his job, though. My guess would be that he was just trying to be funny, but I wasn't there so I wouldn't know.

That's a really bad generalization, considering you don't seem to be very respectful of them. And who says all immigrants are white? What about immigrants from Britain or Germany or France?

This isn't nonsense. If someone is living in an English speaking country trying to become a legal citizen but they haven't conquered the English language yet, why shouldn't they have an option to have services in their native language?

Unless they're wishing for the demise of the country they immigrated to, there's nothing wrong with them being patriotic to their native country. You can be patriotic to the country they were born in without despising their new home.

It is certainly not. What if they don't quite know English yet, and are hoping that whatever citizen they are talking to might know some Spanish or French or whatever to help them?

I do think immigrants should become legal citizens to stay in a country, but your points are very rude and not thought through clearly.

I think a lot of people are making it seem like a bigger deal than it really is. Both the shots and the flu itself. I got the shot about a month and a half ago, there was a girl in the same residence building as my sister. The girl died of the flu. She had no underlying illness, and was active and healthy.

I had no side effects whatsoever, except for my left shoulder hurting because it had a sharp needle go through the muscle. : P

Scientists are pretty confident that there will be no long term effects because the vaccination is based off the regular flu shot vaccination. Of course, some people will get side effects, as with the regular flu shot. I would rather get the shot than risk getting the flu.
