"Well, if i did that i may be beaten. If i stay here long enough, they may ignore me, and then i can take out one of them before any of them even realize i'm here" he said quietly, VERY quietly, thinking out loud.

They're driving down (drive takes 3 hours there and back so its a bit far for a run). If i were to just go there for a short time i'd get something like half an hour, and that'd only make the feeling of missing them worse.
Spam triangle in that battle. As for the part that Sora's held by him (notarapistatall), make sure to use your triangle move i think it was. One where he shoots dark firagas ahead of himself, for some reason it's called dark aura and after checking a video yes it IS triangle. Make sure to use that every couple of steps and you'll be fine
