The Lovely Bones I started to read the book before I saw it, but only got about halfway through before one of my friends wanted to see it. I have to say, the scenes on Earth were really well done. They changed the order of some things, but for the most part I really loved how the Earth scenes were done. Heaven's another story. Peter Jackson messed up Heaven. They also messed up Ray Singh. He's supposed to be 15. Instead, they changed his character to be a senior. But even so, the actor's like 24. ><
The clips work really well with the music. The music changing kind of caught me off guard. Because the clips are zoomed in, the text is unfortunately more distracting. A few more effects, maybe some flashes with the beat, and it would look really great. :] Very good so far. Keep working on it, it looks great. :'D Holy crap, that looks like a lot of work went into that. If it were any other song, I'd say the effects were a bit too much at times. But what else are you to do for Through the Fire and Flames. XD Awesomeness.
But think about it: Why would a bar be the only place to rest? Wouldn't it make more sense to go to a restaurant or almost anywhere else? Would you feel any sense of security bringing a small child into a bar? It's so extremely unlikely that a bar would be the only public place within walking distance.
Okey doke. If anyone wants to use a song by a band that doesn't like their songs on YouTube, like Within Temptation or Linkin Park, changing the pitch makes it harder for them to target your video. If you guys need the pitch changed, I can do that for you if you don't have the software for that. Just send me the song via Megaupload or email.

As others have said, there should be a curfew or something similar. Things can get wild in bars into the late hours. As long as the child has a safe way to get home, then I don't see an immediate problem. Having a wasted mother drive home with a child in the car isn't exactly ideal.
"Elsewhere" by Gabrielle Zevin Interesting.... I'm not a huge fan of the of the tense she's written it in. It's third person in present tense. It kind of feels like Elmo talking, except with a bigger vocabulary. For me, present tense only feels right in first person. The concept is quite unique, though. I love the plot.
