It was kind of like a kick in the stomach to all of the Olympic athletes. The day of the opening ceremony... it's tragic. The team from Georgia got a standing ovation when they walked into the stadium at the opening ceremony. They looked shaken and somber, but I think they were really brave to keep going. They showed the video of it on the 6:00 news here. I definitely wasn't expecting that. I suppose they showed it because you couldn't see the injuries, but it was still very disturbing.
Such accumulation of snow here would only stop school buses (maybe), with schools remaining open. ;~; The downside to the winters in Canada: the goddamn tolerance.
I think you mean
Allow me to add to this glorious party of sexual references. That's what she said. WUTWUT
Plot: Lawrence Talbot, a haunted nobleman, is lured back to his family estate after his brother vanishes. Reunited with his estranged father, Talbot sets out to find his brother... and discovers a horrifying destiny for himself. Talbot's childhood ended the night his mother died. After he left the sleepy Victorian hamlet of Blackmoor, he spent decades recovering and trying to forget. But when his brother's fiancée, Gwen Conliffe, tracks him down to help find her missing love, Talbot returns home to join the search. He learns that something with brute strength and insatiable bloodlust has been killing the villagers, and that a suspicious Scotland Yard inspector named Aberline has come to investigate. It's scary how much Del Toro resembles the original actor. It looks great, can't wait to see the contrast between this one and the original 1940s version. :'D
When he dies, the future of movie scores is screwed.
I haven't seen all of the episodes, but I did see a few when they aired the series on the History Channel. It was a marathon, so I really only had time to watch I think two or three, but the ones I saw were good. David Schwimmer kind of threw me off a bit (Ross being the tough guy does not compute). It's very well done; it captures the brutality of WWII excellently. I'd still prefer watching Saving Private Ryan, but this series is still great. :'D
Imma get my crappy New Orleans accent goin' on to say: I totally friggin told y'all so! :=D:
I saw Appa's tail.

Don't bug meh, beotch. I'm wearin' mah snuggie. :B|:
WMM isn't the only editing software I have. I have another one that's good for borders and logos, and a few useful effects. But it's not actually good for editing the clips themselves, so I'd still use WMM for piecing together the clips. Anyway, I think I could keep up. And if not, I still wouldn't mind helping out however I can. With pitch changes or getting audio. I'll post one of my favourite AMVs that I've made, or perhaps upload it to megaupload or something. It was taken off YouTube because of the song. I'm still unhappy with parts of it, but with other parts I think it turned out well. I'll post a link once I finished uploading it. EDIT: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=1TE17OTM Take a looksee then delete it, I guess. I'm too lazy to change the pitch of the song, save the video again, then upload it to youtube. This way is easier. This was made more than a year ago, so I can do even better than this right now if my WMM would allow me.
We're annoying our English teacher into letting us watch the Lion King during our Hamlet unit. It's the third day of the semester, and I'd say we're already making progress.
Yes and no. Yes, it was written by an atheist. And yes, the author publicly says he does not support Christianity. Nevertheless, the book is still about Christianity. The story doesn't blatantly insult Christianity. It's just a huge metaphor. Many believe it should be a part of religious education.
His Dark Materials series by Philip Pullman. Better known as The Golden Compass. It's not so much about Christianity itself than it is about the church. Some Christian/Catholic schools have banned it, others have made it a part of the curriculum. If you've only ever seen the movie, you'll probably be like "whaaaa". They left out the controversial part when they made the movie. Which kind of sucked, because it was a pretty big part of the book.
My friend and I walk into World Religions class today. There was a rubric laying between our two desks. The name on it said "Chris T." So we wrote Jesus above it. I'm here all week, folks.
Does this just repeat? I think it's on the fourth time. XD

I do this sometimes, too. I don't consider looking up some things via walkthroughs as cheating. Walkthroughs were my lifeline while playing Jak II. I felt like I was cheating until I read somewhere that the creators said they didn't mean to make the game that difficult. B|
